How To Play
 
Delicious – Emily’s Taste of Truth features classic Time Management gameplay. Your mission is simple: take orders, serve customers, and earn stars within a set time limit. The faster and more accurate you are, the higher your score!

Serve Customers
Your main task during gameplay is to serve customers. Select the item they ordered, which will be added to your inventory tray. Then, select the customer to deliver the order.

 

Check Out Customers
After you serve orders to customers, they will approach the counter to pay. To check out customers, select the register.

 

Combine Items
Some orders must be assembled before they can be delivered to customers. To do this, select the ingredients in the correct sequence.

 

Prepare Items
Some items take time to prepare. Watch the progress bar fill up and be sure to collect the item when it hits the green zone so it doesn’t spill or burn. 

 

Restock Items
Some items have a limited supply, so keep an eye on the number next to the products and restock when needed. Tip! Restock all items at the start of the level to get ahead early on.

 

Inventory Tray
Your inventory tray is limited. When all the slots are filled, you can’t pick up any new products. To free up slots, you have to deliver the orders to the customers or you can discard items by selecting their icon on your tray.

 

Clean Tables
After customers have finished at a table, they leave a mess behind. Select the table to clean it as soon as possible, as new customers can’t use a dirty table.

 

Catch the Mouse
Carl the mouse is hidden in each of the game’s 90 levels, which includes 60 story levels and 30 bonus levels. Carl will pop up as you play each level and you’ll hear his soft squeak before he disappears again (so keep the game sound on)! Find all 90 mice to unlock a special trophy!

Scoring, Coins & Diamonds

Scoring and Coins

 

Throughout each level you will earn a score and that score will determine how many stars you are awarded after playing the level. Each star (3 in total) is worth a certain amount of coins.

For example – the first star might be worth 50 coins, the second star worth 100 coins, and the third star worth 150 coins. If you earn all 3 stars, you’ll earn 300 coins (based on this example). You can use coins to purchase Kitchen Upgrades, Interior Upgrades, Helpers, and additional Food Truck Mural options.

 

Earning Diamonds


You’ll earn diamonds upon completing story and bonus levels. You can earn up to 5 diamonds on story levels and up to 5 diamonds on bonus levels. You’ll get 1 diamond per star earned (up to 3), 1 for finding the mouse, and 1 for completing the side objective. You can use your diamonds to purchase Food Truck Mural and Decor Upgrades.

Kitchen, Interior & Decor Upgrades

Kitchen Upgrades

Use your hard-earned coins to purchase Kitchen Upgrades that enhance your menu offerings and boost your earnings. Kitchen Upgrades include items you serve to customers or use to cook/prepare items on your menu. Using the upgraded kitchen items can:

  • Increase your stock count
  • Reduce restocking time
  • Restore customer hearts
  • Boost your earnings

Tip! Be sure to purchase Kitchen Upgrades BEFORE starting a level.

Interior Upgrades

Use your hard-earned coins to purchase Interior Upgrades that enhance your dining spaces and boost your efficiency. There are three levels of each interior upgrade, increasing your efficiency even more! Interior Upgrades will:

  • Increase your tray space
  • Increase Carl’s visibility
  • Reduce cleaning time
  • Increase customer patience
  • Increase points earned for the Mouse, All Clean, In-A-Row, Quick Service, Objective, and Full Order bonuses.

Tip! Be sure to purchase Interior Upgrades BEFORE starting a level.

Decor Upgrades

Spend your hard-earned diamonds to add a touch of flair to each restaurant! While these decorations won’t impact gameplay directly, they’ll help you create a space that’s truly one-of-a-kind!

There are three different options per upgrade and you can mix and match different styles. You’ll need all 450 diamonds to purchase all upgrades in the game.

Helpers

Helpers

Need some help in the kitchen? You can use your hard-earned coins to hire helpers to make your workday easier. The helpers change per location, and you can use up to two helpers at a time, so choose carefully!

Tip! Before you start a level, make sure to check who’s available and switch helpers if you need to, as sometimes they’ll be too busy to help. When that happens, they’ll show as locked in the shop.

 

Host: Having this helper around will score you more points.

Cleaner: This helper will clean the tables so you don’t have to.

Expediter: Having this helper around will increase your walking speed.

Entertainer: Having this helper around will make customers at the counter more patient.

Mascot: Having this helper around will make customers sitting at tables more patient.

Waiter: This helper will deliver orders to tables. Tip! Make sure everything is prepped and on the tray before sending them off, otherwise, they’ll only deliver part of the order.

NEW Feature: Special Customers

Delicious – Emily’s Taste of Truth spices things up with all-new gameplay twists! Special customers each come with their own quirks and challenges, so if you want to hit those high scores, you’ll need to stay sharp.

 

Granny

She is always patient, however, she takes a little longer to decide on her order. Her hearts are blue, so you’ll recognize her right away.

Tip! Since granny takes longer to order and is very patient, you can prioritize other customers over her. She doesn’t mind—we promise!

 

Impatient Man

Watch out for this guy—he’s got a short fuse! He arrives with only 3 hearts and his patience drops much faster, so you’ll need to serve him fast! His heart color is orange, making him easier to spot.

Tip! Always keep an eye out for him and prioritize him over other customers.

 

Influencers

Influencers are cool, but they don’t care about anything, not even their order! They will always grab the first item on the tray. 

Tip! To serve them quickly, give them items that don’t need to be prepared. Bear in mind: The more complicated the order is to make, the more they will pay for it, so by serving them items that need to be prepared/cooked, you can boost your score.

       

 

Forgetful Teens

Sound familiar? These two teens tend to forget their orders, so stay focused! The items they order show for five seconds, then disappear, displaying question marks. The items they ordered will show again every five seconds.

Tip! Clicking on them will not show what they ordered, so you’ll have to wait up to five seconds for their order to show again, in case you forget it. As soon as you see it again, be sure to give them priority, as they are waiting longer than other customers and will begin getting impatient.

       

 

General Customer Happiness

You’ll earn tips based on customer satisfaction levels. Each customer has hearts over their head indicating how happy they are:

 

5 Hearts = Ecstatic!

4 Hearts = Happy 

3 Hearts = Neutral

2 Hearts = Unhappy 

1 Heart = Angry  

 

 

The more hearts a customer has over their head when you check them out, the higher the points you’ll receive—which means a higher score and ultimately more coins! Customers with no hearts will leave without giving you any points, so be careful!

 

 

 

NEW Feature: Avatar Ranks

Delicious – Emily’s Taste of Truth introduces another fresh new twist: customizable Profile Avatars with unlockable ranks and rewards! As you play, you’ll earn experience points (Exp), climb through culinary ranks, and unlock cool new ways to personalize your profile, from cool accessories to fun backgrounds. This system is a way to show off how far you’ve come and play your way with a look that’s all you!

 

Track Your Ranks

Head to your Profile Avatar board by clicking or tapping on your profile picture from the level map screen to see:

  • Your current rank (just below your profile picture).
  • All ranks you’ve already achieved (scroll down to see more).
  • Future ranks with how much experience points you need to achieve them and what rewards you’ll earn (scroll down to see more).
  • A handy legend to the left of the screen showing how much experience points each action earns.
  • How many experience points you currently have and how many are required to get to the next level (bar in the upper right corner of the screen).

At Purely Plants, there are six Interior Upgrades that can be purchased using your hard-earned coins. There are three levels for most Interior Upgrades, increasing your efficiency even more!

Decor Upgrades: Purely Plants

At Purely Plants, there are five different Decor Upgrades that can be purchased with your hard-earned diamonds. Each upgrade has three different options to choose from, giving you the chance to enhance the look of the restaurant and make it uniquely yours.

Helpers: Purely Plants

At Purely Plants, you can use your coins to hire Helpers that make your workday easier. There are six Helpers to choose from, however, you can only use up to two at a time, so choose carefully!

Some days, helpers will be too busy to work. When that happens, they’ll show as locked in the shop. BEFORE you start a level, make sure to check who’s available and switch helpers if you need to.

Delicious – Emily’s Taste of Truth introduces a new trophy board with loads of new trophies to collect! Many of the trophies have three levels: Silver, Gold, and Diamond status.

Fast Food Get the ‘Quick Service’ bonus Get the ‘Quick Service’ bonus 150 times to reach Diamond status. Get this bonus by delivering all items a customer asks for within a short period of time.
All at Once Get the ‘Full Order’ bonus Get the ‘Full Order’ bonus 150 times to reach Diamond status. Get this bonus by delivering all items a customer asks for in a single trip.
Let’s Get Shiny Collect diamonds Collect 450 diamonds to reach Diamond status. You can earn up to 5 diamonds in story levels and up to 5 diamonds in bonus levels.
Top Artist Purchase all elements of the mural and its surrounding Purchase all of the mural upgrades using your diamonds. More upgrades become available after making purchases.
One More Time Replay levels Replay any levels of your choice 25 times in total.
