How to Play
Delicious – Emily’s Cooking and Romance is a GameHouse Premiere exclusive Time Management cooking game and is the 18th full game in the Delicious Series! The goal of the game is to serve as many customers as possible within a set time limit. The better your service, the higher your score!
Serve Customers
Your main task during gameplay is to serve customers. First, select the item they ordered. Then it will be added to your inventory tray. Second, select the customer to deliver the order.
Check out customers
After you serve orders to customers, they will approach the counter in order to pay. To check out the customers, click on the register.
Combine items together
Some orders must be assembled before they can be delivered to customers. To do this, select the ingredients in the correct sequence.
Cooking and restocking items
Some orders take time to prepare. The gauge will fill to show the progress on the order. Be sure to collect the order while it’s in the green area. Also, some products may need to be restocked, so keep an eye on the number shown next to the products. Tip! Restock all items at the start of the day to get ahead early on.
Keep your eyes on your inventory tray
Your inventory tray is limited. When all the slots are filled, you can’t pick up any new products. To free up slots, you have to either deliver the orders to the customers or you can discard items by clicking on their icon on your tray.
Keep your location clean
After customers have finished at a table, they leave a mess behind. Select the table to clean it as soon as possible as new customers can’t use a dirty table.
Mouse Locations
Carl the mouse is hidden in each of the game’s 90 levels, which includes 60 story levels and 30 bonus levels. The mouse will pop up as you play each level and you’ll hear a soft squeaking before he disappears again (so keep the game sound on)! Find all 90 mice to unlock a special trophy!
Minigames
Minigames are present in almost every level in all chapter locations and will be different in each location. Play minigames to earn bonus points – the more stars earned for a minigame (up to 3), the higher your score.
Tip! Bonus Levels are more challenging, so minigames are especially helpful in these levels to earn more points, as you’ll need all the points you can get to earn 3 stars for those levels and get as many coins as possible! You can find more information on minigames in the Chapter Guide below.
Earning Diamonds
You’ll earn diamonds upon completing all story and bonus levels. You can earn up to 5 diamonds on story levels and up to 5 diamonds on bonus levels. You’ll get 1 diamond per star earned, 1 for finding the mouse, and 1 for completing the side objective. You can then use your diamonds to purchase upgrades for Emily’s kitchen.
Scoring, Coins, and Customer Happiness
Customer Happiness
You’ll earn tips based off a customer’s satisfaction level. Each customer has hearts over their head indicating how happy they are:
5 Hearts = Ecstatic!
4 Hearts = Very Happy
3 Hearts = Happy
2 Hearts = Slightly Unhappy
1 Heart = Angry
The more hearts a customer has over their head when they check out, the higher the tip they’ll give – which means a higher score and ultimately more coins! Customers with no hearts will leave without paying, so be careful!
Scoring and Coins
Throughout each level you will earn a score and that score will determine how many stars you are awarded after playing the level. Each star (3 in total) is worth a certain amount of coins.
For example – the first star might be worth 40 coins, the second star worth 60 coins, and the third star worth 90 coins. If you earn all 3 stars, you’ll earn 190 coins (based on this example). You can use coins to purchase Shop Upgrades, different Emily’s Kitchen upgrade styles, and different Family Photo filter styles.
Earning bonus points will help you get a higher score, which will lead to more stars and ultimately more coins. You can earn bonus points by completing combos or special services:

- Checkout Combo – Check out multiple customers at the same time to get bonus points.

- Cleaning Combo – Clean multiple tables in a row to increase your score.

- Chain Combo – Bring multiple customers all the items they want in a row to increase your score.

- Full Order Bonus – Bring all the items a customer asks for in a single trip to get bonus points.

- Quick Service Bonus – Deliver all the items a customer asks for within a short period of time to get bonus points.

- Event Bonus – Complete the side objective to get bonus points and earn diamonds.

- Mouse Bonus – Find Carl the mouse hiding in each level to get bonus points and earn diamonds.

- All Clean Bonus – Have all tables clean at the end of the level BEFORE checking out the last customer to receive a bonus.
Additional Tips and Tricks
Need more coins to buy Shop Upgrades, different Emily’s Kitchen options, or Family Photo filters? Check out the tips below:

- Replay levels – You can replay all levels and receive more coins each time you replay. Plus, you’ll earn a special trophy for replaying any levels of your choice 50 times. Tip! Replaying levels where the stars are worth more coins and after upgrading certain Menu items will get you even more coins!

- Upgrade ALL Menu items – As soon as new Menu Upgrades are available – select them! By upgrading your menu as soon as possible, you’ll get bigger tips, increase customer patience or recover hearts, which in turn gives you a higher score and more stars, leading to more coins. Other Menu Upgrades, such as reducing restocking or preparation times, will increase your efficiency and ultimately get you a higher score, leading to more coins!

- Minigames – Play as many of the minigames as you can in each level to earn extra points so you can get all 3 stars, meaning more coins.
Restocking time too slow? Check out the tips below:

- Menu Upgrades – Some levels offer a Menu Upgrade that will decrease the restocking time or increase the amount of items that will be restocked at a time, so keep an eye out for those and upgrade as soon as it’s available. Learn more about Menu Upgrades in the Chapter Guide below.

- Restocking action – When restocking an item, if you click to preform any other action, Emily will move right away and stop restocking. A way around this is to click multiple times on the restocking item, then you can start queuing other actions (picking up items, delivering them, checking out customers, cleaning tables, etc.). Emily won’t leave until each restocking action is complete, but you’ll have increased your efficiency as Emily will automatically start performing those actions once restocking is complete and you’ll be fully restocked!

Chapter 1 – Emily’s Place
Return to Emily’s Place for a trip down memory lane! Chapter 1 reintroduces Emily’s Place, located in the small town of Snuggford. As level 1 begins, you’ll get a glimpse into what life is like for the O’Malley family with the kids all grown up and Patrick onto yet another career change.
Chapter 1 contains Story Levels 1 – 10 and Bonus Levels 1-1 – 1-5.
Shop Upgrades
Different Shop Upgrades are available for each chapter and offer ways to increase the number of points you earn or your efficiency, so you can ultimately earn more stars, which leads to more coins and diamonds. You can purchase Shop Upgrades using coins.
Charming Tableware Set – This upgrade increases the bonus you receive for delivering full orders to customers, which means more points!
Mouse Plushie – This plushie makes our rodent friend, Carl, stay visible for longer so he’s easier to catch!
Cute Apron – This apron will you to walk faster, which makes you much more efficient with collecting items and delivering orders.
Flowers – These flowers will slow down the mood decreasing of your customers making them a little more patient, which helps a lot on busier days.
Candy Bowl – With this bowl of tasty treats, you’ll earn extra bonus points for quick service.
Nice Tray – This will increase your inventory tray slots so you can hold more items at the same time, which helps you to be able to get bonus points for delivering full orders to multiple customers in a row.

Menu Upgrades
Complete service tasks and advance in story levels to earn menu upgrades. In Chapter 1, there are 12 menu upgrades available. The upgrades in this chapter will recover 25% of customer’s hearts when delivering full orders using the upgraded item, increase customer tips, reduce preparation time, or reduce restocking times.

Coffee Minigame
Minigames are present in all chapters and there will be a different one for each location. Play minigames to earn extra points, which will be especially handy for Bonus Levels!
How to play – Use the milk pot to trace the pattern on the coffee. Click on the milk pot first, then drag it over to the small white mark to start the outline in a clockwise direction (left).

Chapter 2 – Napoli’s
Continue the story at Napoli’s… This restaurant honors Emily’s Italian roots, as well as puts to use the cooking techniques she learned during her travels throughout Europe and her time spent visiting relatives in Italy. While Emily’s Place represents the tried, tested, and true, Napoli’s scratches Snugffordians’ itch for something sophisticated and unique.

Notepad – With this notepad, you’ll get a bigger bonus when delivering multiple orders in a row, which means more points!
Speakers – The music will make the waiting time more pleasant and thus increase customer patience.
Shot of Espresso – With a shot of espresso, you will walk faster, which makes you more efficient with collecting items, delivering orders, and checking out customers.
Ornate Tray – This will increase your inventory tray slots so you can hold more items at the same time, which also increases efficiency and the ability to earn bonus points with full orders.

Hmmm… something about this place seems oddly familiar! Head outdoors for some fun and to see what Paige, Grace, Ben, and Tanner are up to.

Shop Upgrades
Different Shop Upgrades are available for each chapter and offer ways to increase the number of points you earn or your efficiency, so you can ultimately earn more stars, which leads to more coins and diamonds. You can purchase Shop Upgrades using coins.
Board – This board increases customer patience while they wait at the counter to check out which means they keep their hearts longer and ultimately give you a higher score.
Sneakers – These comfy shoes will allow you to walk faster and truly manage your time better.
Magic Sponge – This sponge will decrease your cleaning time, so you’ll be done cleaning in a jiffy. The faster you clean, the more time you have to quickly serve customers and earn bonus points.
Bigger Tray – This try will increase your inventory tray slots so you can hold more items at the same time, which also increases efficiency and the ability to earn bonus points with full orders.
Trophy – With this trophy, you’ll earn extra points for completing side objectives.
Hair Bands – If you make sure all tables are clean before the level ends, you’ll get even bigger “all clean” bonus points.

Makeup Minigame
Minigames are present in all chapters and there will be a different one for each location. Play minigames to earn extra points, which will be especially handy for Bonus Levels!
How to play – Makeup needs to be applied to eyes or lips. To apply makeup around the eyes, move your cursor to trace around the outer edge of the eyes to apply the makeup. For the lips, click anywhere on the lips and move your cursor around to apply the lipstick.

Energy Drink – Give yourself a shot of energy so you can walk faster and collect and deliver orders more efficiently.
Captivating Aromas – Customers wait more patiently at the register to pay, surrounded by the delicious scent of greasy food! Increasing customer patience means their hearts drain slower and you get more points.
Bigger Tray – This try will increase your inventory tray slots so you can hold more items at the same time.
Darts – These darts will increase customer patience so their overall moods decrease slower, meaning slower draining heart leading to more points.
Mouse – Carl the mouse will pop up more frequently so you have a better chance at catching him!
Sunny Weather – Customers love the sunny weather, so it makes them more patient while waiting for their orders. This means slower draining hearts, leading to more points.

Balloon Popping and Trash Collecting Minigames
Unlike the previous chapters, Chapter 4 has two separate minigames – a Balloon Popping minigame and a Trash Collecting minigame. Play minigames to earn extra points, which will be especially handy for Bonus Levels!
How to play – Balloon Popping: Click on the balloons to pop them as quickly as possible to get your plushy!

How to play – Trash Collecting: When you click on an item of trash, the trash can it needs to go in will be highlighted. Click on an item of trash and drag it into the correct (highlighted) trash can. Tip! Each item of trash is outlined with the color of its corresponding trash can (red, yellow, or blue).

Ice Cream Minigame
The Ice Cream minigame presents differently from minigames in earlier chapters. Customers will order the ice cream at the counter, which will be shown as a green exclamation box, and once you click on the customer, the minigame to make ice cream begins.
How to play – Click on the items in the correct order to prepare the ice cream. The order required is always: 1. cone, 2. ice cream, 3. syrup, 4. topping.
There are more than one ice cream, syrup, and topping flavors and the flavor required per order will be outlined in red. The in-game minigame hint can be viewed at any time in case you need a reminder on the order in which the items need to be selected.

String Lights – These lights will brighten customer’s moods and increase their patience, leading to slower draining hearts and ultimately more points.
Table Numbers – These table numbers will help you walk faster, making you more efficient.
Heart-shaped Notepad – With this notepad you’ll get a bigger bonus when you deliver multiple orders in a row.
Heart-shaped Tray – Not only does it increase your inventory tray space, it adds more finesse too! With a larger tray, you can hold more which increases efficiency and the ability to earn bonus points with full orders.
Wireless Terminal – A modern and easy way to quickly check out your customers and score some extra points when you provide quick service.
Cute Dishcloths – They clean as well as they look, so you spend less time cleaning the tables and more time serving your customers! The faster you clean tables, the more time you have to keep customers happy.

Delicious – Emily’s Cooking and Romance adds a brand-new kitchen to upgrade! Click on the oven mitt icon in the upper right corner of the level select map to access the Kitchen. Here, you can spend the diamonds you earned by completing story levels and bonus levels, on new items and decorations for Emily’s Kitchen. How will you style the kitchen of your dreams?
If an item’s price is green, you can afford to buy it! Click on the orange question mark ? to change your selection at any time!

After purchasing the upgrade, choose from option A, B, or C and click on the green tick to complete your selection. Options B and C will cost coins to purchase, but you can still click on them to preview what the upgrade will look like before making your purchase.

Have some fun with the O’Malley’s by customizing their fun family photo with filters! You can access the family photo by clicking on the photo icon in the upper right corner of the level select map. The photo will be unlocked as a special reward after level 58!
Click on the orange question mark ? to customize the photo. Choose from option A, B, C, or D and click on the green tick to complete your selection. Upgrade options B, C, and D will cost coins to purchase.
