Delicious – Emily’s Festival of Dreams: Tips, Tricks & Location Guide

Serve Customers
Your main task during gameplay is to serve customers. Select the item they ordered, which will be added to your inventory tray. Then, select the customer to deliver the order.

Check Out Customers
After you serve orders to customers, they will approach the counter to pay. To check out customers, select the register.

Combine Items
Some orders must be assembled before they can be delivered to customers. To do this, select the ingredients in the correct sequence.

Prepare Items
Some items take time to prepare. Watch the progress bar fill up and be sure to collect the item when it hits the green zone so it doesn’t spill or burn. 

Restock Items
Some items have a limited supply, so keep an eye on the number next to the products and restock when needed. Tip! Restock all items at the start of the level to get ahead early on.

Inventory Tray
Your inventory tray is limited. When all the slots are filled, you can’t pick up any new products. To free up slots, you have to deliver the orders to the customers or you can discard items by selecting their icon on your tray.

Clean Tables
After customers have finished at a table, they leave a mess behind. Select the table to clean it as soon as possible, as new customers can’t use a dirty table.

Catch the Mouse
Carl the mouse is hidden in each of the game’s 90 levels, which includes 60 story levels and 30 special levels. Carl will pop up as you play each level and you’ll hear his soft squeak before he disappears again (so keep the game sound on)! Find all 90 mice to unlock a special trophy! Scoring and Coins

Throughout each level you will earn a score and that score will determine how many stars you are awarded after playing the level. Each star (3 in total) is worth a certain amount of coins.

For example – the first star might be worth 50 coins, the second star worth 100 coins, and the third star worth 150 coins. If you earn all 3 stars, you’ll earn 300 coins (based on this example). You can use coins to purchase Product Upgrades, Interior Upgrades, Helpers, and additional Festival Booth decoration options.

Earning Diamonds

You’ll earn diamonds upon completing story and special levels. You can earn up to 5 diamonds on story levels and up to 5 diamonds on special levels. You’ll get 1 diamond per star earned (up to 3), 1 for finding the mouse, and 1 for completing the side objective. You can use your diamonds to purchase Festival Booth decorations.

Progress Tracking

See your progress unfold in real time! Each location has a set of icons that fill up as you complete levels and buy upgrades and helpers. The more you do, the more you fill!

Product Upgrades

Use your hard-earned coins to purchase Product Upgrades that enhance your menu offerings and boost your earnings. Product Upgrades include items you serve to customers or use to cook/prepare items on your menu. Using the upgraded products can:

• Increase your stock count
• Restore customer hearts
• Boost your earnings
• Reduce restocking time
• Reduce preparation time
• Increased time to grab items when they’re ready

Tip! Be sure to purchase and select Product Upgrades BEFORE starting a level.

Interior Upgrades

Use your hard-earned coins to purchase Interior Upgrades that enhance your dining spaces and boost your efficiency. There are three levels for most of the interior upgrades, increasing your efficiency even more! Interior Upgrades will:

• Increase your walking speed
• Reduce your cleaning time
• Increase your tray space
• Increase customer patience at tables, counters, and beauty stations
• Increase points earned for the Mouse, All Clean, In-A-Row, Quick Service, Side Objective, and Full Order bonuses.

Tip! Be sure to purchase Interior Upgrades BEFORE starting a level.

Helpers

Need some help taking care of festivalgoers? You can use your hard-earned coins to hire helpers to make your workday easier. The helpers change per location, and you can use up to two helpers at a time, so choose carefully! Subscribers can use an unlimited amount of helpers at a time – no limits!

Tip! Before you start a level, make sure to check who’s available and switch helpers if you need to, as sometimes they’ll be too busy to help. When that happens, they’ll show as locked in the shop.

Waiter: This energetic helper will deliver orders to tables and beauty stations. Tip! Make sure everything is prepped and on the tray before sending the waiter off to the tables, otherwise, they’ll only deliver part of the order.

Cleaner: This handy helper will clean tables and beauty stations so you don’t have to.

Mood Booster: This helper will raise the patience of customers at tables and beauty stations. Simply select the mood booster character, then select the table or fashion station to send them over.

Sous Chef: This handy helper will restock items so you don’t have to.

Entertainer: Having this fun helper around will keeps customer satisfaction from slipping away.

Special Customers

There are Special Customers that appear throughout each location, each with their own quirks and challenges, so if you want to hit those high scores, you’ll need to stay sharp!

Very Patient

These lovely ladies are always patient, however, they take a little longer to decide on their order. Their hearts are blue, so you’ll recognize them right away.

Tip! Since they take longer to order and they are very patient, you can prioritize other customers over them. They don’t mind—we promise!

Impatient

Watch out for this guy—he’s got a short fuse! He arrives with only 3 hearts and his patience drops much faster, so you’ll need to serve him fast! His heart color is orange, making him easier to spot.

Tip! Always keep an eye out for him and prioritize him over other customers.

‘Anything Goes’

These two customers don’t care about anything, not even their order! They will always grab the first item on the tray. You can easily spot them by the # in the order bubble.

Tip! They lose patience faster than regular customers, so to serve them quickly, give them items that don’t need to be prepared. Bear in mind: The more complicated the order is to make, the more they will pay for it, so by serving them items that need to be prepared/cooked, you can boost your score.

Forgetful

These two teens tend to forget their orders, so stay focused! The items they order show for five seconds, then disappear, displaying question marks (?). The items they ordered will show again every five seconds.

Tip! Clicking/tapping on them will not show what they ordered, so you’ll have to wait up to five seconds for their order to show again, in case you forget it. As soon as you see it again, be sure to give them priority, as they are waiting longer than other customers and will begin getting impatient.

Rouge

Karens are always loud and love making a scene. They have a short fuse and frustrate other customers, causing other customers’ hearts to drop much faster when they’re around. Other customers will display an “annoyed” animation when the Karens are at the counter. You’ll be able to spot them right away, especially with their dark grey hearts!

Tip! Prioritize serving them as not only will you score less for them, but all the customers around them too!

Distracted

This customer is always on the phone and completely distracted. After delivering his order, he’s so distracted that he’ll forget to pay. When you see the three red dots, you’ll need to click or tap on him twice to give him a nudge to pay.

Indecisive

These ladies are always changing their mind, so be quick—they might change their order if you take too long serving them! They have purple hearts, making them easy to spot.

General Customer Happiness

You’ll earn tips based on customer satisfaction levels. Each customer has hearts over their head indicating how happy they are:

5 Hearts = Ecstatic!

4 Hearts = Very Happy 

3 Hearts = Happy 

2 Hearts = Slightly Unhappy 

1 Heart = Angry  

The more hearts a customer has over their head when you check them out, the higher the points you’ll receive – which means a higher score and ultimately more coins! Customers with no hearts will leave without giving you any points, so be careful!

In each location, there will be tasks to complete using Quick Actions, such as tapping/clicking, rotating, or swiping on a bar or circle to complete actions like turning on a heater, scooping up apples, and more! Check out some examples below:

Apple Bobbing
Help kids scoop up apples! Swipe to fill the bar.

Keep the Heater On
The heater is turning off! Rotate the knob to fire up the flame.

Comfort Scared Children
Click or tap on the circle until it’s filled to calm the child down.

Repair Clothing
Click or tap on the bar when the pointer is in the green zone or swipe the bar side to side to repair clothes.

Enjoy customizable Profile Avatars with unlockable ranks and rewards to make your profile uniquely yours! This system is a way to show off how far you’ve come and play your way with a look that’s all you.

Head to your Profile Avatar by selecting your profile picture from the top left of the level map screen to see:

Rank:

• This shows your current ranking.
• Select the question mark (?) in the Rank bar to see all the ranks you’ve already achieved and the future ranks with how much experience points you need to achieve them, and what rewards you’ll earn.

Next Rank:

• This shows how many experience points (Exp) you need to reach the next rank.
• Select the question mark (?) in the Next Rank bar to see a handy legend showing how much experience points each action earns.
