Sarah's archeologist uncle disappears, putting her on a quest to find him. Her search leads to the trail of an ancient Mayan artifact and a secret village in Central America. The investigation however, is made all the more difficult by Miguel Alvarez, a charismatic but cunning relic hunter who also has his eye on this mysterious "Pillar of the Maya".
