Hint and Skip buttons are recharged more rapidly. All interactive zones and items are indicated with sparkles. There is also no penalty for rapid misclicks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Normal \u2013 This mode is intended for fans of Hidden Object games. Hint and Skip buttons are slower to recharge. All interactive zones and items are indicated with sparkles. A penalty exists for rapid misclicking during hidden object scenes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Expert \u2013 This mode is intended for players of Hidden Object games who do not wish to have any help or assistance while playing. Hint and Skip buttons are disabled. Sparkle zone and item indicators are off. Two of the recent guests, a father and son, have gone missing. It&#8217;s up to you to locate the missing guests and solve the mystery behind their disappearance!<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor3\" name=\"anchor3\"><\/a>Chapter 1: The Mountain Lodge<\/h3>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">The manager of the lodge is waiting for you outside and shares the tell of how a dark entity has been haunting the premises You&#8217;ll need to find a way inside.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><i>Entrance<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Speak with the hotel manager. He will give you the Map.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Take a closer look inside the minivan. Collect the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Battery <\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">lying on the seat, then use it on the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Stun Gun<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> lying on the seat to add it to your inventory.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Examine the doors to the lodge straight ahead. Use the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Stun Gun<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> to remove the vines.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Speak with the manager again. He will give you the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Hotel Key<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"en-US\">Take a closer look at the lodge doors again. Use the <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Hotel Key<\/b><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> to open them, then proceed inside.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><i>Reception<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the small table ahead. Use the <b>Stun Gun<\/b> to remove the vines, then collect the <b>Tape<\/b> and the read the guest registry<\/li>\n<li>Click on the hidden object area over the desk ahead.<\/li>\n<li>Find all the pieces of the objects shown at the bottom of the screen. Once finished:\n<ul>\n<li>Place the cash register over the wiring on the right.<\/li>\n<li>Place the hula girl on the legs to the right of the safe.<\/li>\n<li>Place the lock panel into the safe on the left.<\/li>\n<li>Place the hammer on top of the safe.<\/li>\n<li>Place the phone on the hook straight ahead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Find all the objects listed at the bottom of the screen. Use the <b>Ladder<\/b> to reach it.<\/li>\n<li>Proceed up the steps to the next location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Hallway<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the waste basket just past the table on the left. Click on the <b>Hydrant Wheel <\/b>and the <b>Newspaper<\/b> inside to add them to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Take a closer look at the red panel on the right. Use the <b>Hydrant Wheel<\/b> on the center of it to trigger a puzzle.<\/li>\n<li>To complete the puzzle, you need to find the pair of each symbol. Place the <b>Newspaper<\/b> under the door, then use the <b>Pencil<\/b> on the lock to knock out the <b>Lobby Key<\/b> and add it to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <b>Lobby Key<\/b> on the door to open it and proceed into the next area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Lobby<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the chair straight ahead and on the other side of the room. Click on the <b>Matches<\/b> to add them to your inventory, then click on the pillow to move it aside and collect the Note and <b>Crank Handle<\/b> beneath.<\/li>\n<li>Take a closer look at the wire lying on the floor. Click on the wires to tie them together, then use the <b>Tape<\/b> to insulate them.<\/li>\n<li>Return to the Reception.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Reception<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the phone sitting on the desk. Pick up the receiver to answer the call, then once the phone falls apart, collect the <b>Spring<\/b> which was under the dial wheel to add it to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the Hallway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Hallway<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zoom in on the far end of the hallway. Attach the <b>Crank Handle<\/b> to the hole in the wall and proceed up the steps that appear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Attic<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will immediately encounter a hidden object area. Find the objects listed at the bottom of the screen. Use the <b>Penetrating Spray<\/b> to remove the <b>Shovel<\/b> and add it to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Go back to the Hallway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Hallway<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the vase on the right side of the hallway. Use the <b>Shovel<\/b> to acquire the <b>Hand Saw<\/b> inside.<\/li>\n<li>Proceed up the steps again and into the Attic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Attic<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Look at the area on the upper right again. Use the <b>Hand Saw<\/b> to acquire the <b>Metal Bar<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Examine the area crossed off with boards ahead and a little to the left. Use the <b>Metal Bar<\/b> to pry them loose. Take a closer look at the letter inside, then collect the <b>Spatula<\/b> in the bucket.<\/li>\n<li>Go down to Reception.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Reception<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a closer look at the glass case on the left. Use the <b>Spatula<\/b> to open the cabinet, then collect the <b>Poison<\/b> and the <b>Room 11 Key <\/b>inside.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the Hallway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Hallway<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a closer look at the door on the right. Use the <b>Poison <\/b>to remove the vines, then use the <b>Room 11 Key<\/b> to enter the room (Tip: You will need to click the key to turn it and open the door).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Room 11<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upon entering the room, you will immediately find yourself in a hidden object scene. Find the objects listed at the bottom of the screen. Use the <b>Crowbar<\/b> to remove the wood paneling, then collect the <b>Welding Torch<\/b> hidden in the compartment between cages to add it to your inventory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Go to the Pool.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><i>Pool<\/i><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Take a closer look inside the pool. Attach the <b>Hoses<\/b> to the cylinders on the right. Take out the <b>Welding Torch<\/b> and place the <b>Safebox<\/b> on the crate. Click on the blue knob of the gas cylinder until the pressure is correct, then use the <b>Striker<\/b> to light the torch. Once the box is open, click on the <b>Card Reader<\/b> and the <b>Tooth<\/b> inside to add them to your inventory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Back in the main view of the area, examine the right door at the far end of the room. Examine the base of the tree and click on the <b>Stove Handle<\/b> and <b>Hairpin<\/b> within the nest to add them to your inventory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Enter the hut.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><i>Inside Hut<\/i><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Take a closer look at the stove on the left. Place the <b>Stove Handle<\/b> on the stove door, then open it and collect the <b>Pliers<\/b> inside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Head back to the Garage.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><i>Garage<\/i><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Take a closer look at the workbench ahead. Place the <b>Hairpin<\/b> on the desk, then use the <b>Pliers<\/b> to bend it into the <b>Improvised Lockpick<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Return to the Corridor.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><i>Corridor<\/i><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Examine the chest in the wall on the upper left. Use the <b>Improvised Lockpick<\/b> to trigger a puzzle.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Stick the lockpick through 5 flaps of the lock and move them. The trick is to click on each pin quickly multiple times to move it up to the top. Once all pins are locked into the top, the puzzle will be complete.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Once the puzzle is complete, click on the <b>Mechanism Handle<\/b> to add it to your inventory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Examine the wheel on the right and use the <b>Mechanism Handle<\/b> on the empty slot. Click on the mechanism and proceed through the door that opens ahead.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><i>The Final Room<\/i><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">After a brief cutscene, you will become locked in battle with the demon! Click on the <b>Medallion<\/b> to initiate your attack.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Each time you successfully initiate an attack with the <b>Medallion<\/b>, a puzzle will be triggered in which you must find and select the correct pairs of symbols. You can match symbols in any order, so long as they&#8217;re in pairs. Taking too long may cause additional symbols to spawn again. Each time you match all the pairs, you will need to use the <b>Medallion<\/b> to attack the demon again. The puzzles become progressively more difficult the closer you are to defeating the demon.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Tip: Sometimes symbols are obstructed. Hover your cursor over an obstructed symbol to reveal the symbol beneath.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Once you&#8217;ve done enough damage, the demon will retreat. Take a closer look at the pedestal straight ahead.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Place the <b>Amulets<\/b> into the pedestal, then turn the column elements to combine their energy by clicking on them. Use the <b>Saw Blade<\/b> on the handle here to obtain the <b>Saw<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Zoom in on the gas canister on the lower right. Use the <b>Saw<\/b> to remove the chain, then click on the <b>Jerrycan<\/b> to add it to your inventory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Examine the snowcat on the left. Use the <b>Snowcat Keys<\/b> to open the cabin, then take a closer look inside. Click on the <b>Battery<\/b> sitting on the right and the <b>Funnel<\/b> behind the steering levers to add them to your inventory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Back on the outside, take a closer look at the snowcat again. Place the <b>Battery<\/b> into the lower compartment, then insert the <b>Funnel<\/b> into the top hole and fuel it with the <b>Jerrycan<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\">Examine the inside of the snowcat again, specifically the cabin.
