Sparkles show up over all important game locations and Hints recharge quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced \u2013 Overcome challenges without additional aid. Hints will take longer to recharge and there is no additional help.<\/li>\n<li>Hardcore \u2013 Play the game with no help. No minigame skip, no tips, and no hints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Rupert is your sidekick: a small statue who will also act as your Hint button. When Rupert is around, you can click on him to figure out what you should do next. Rupert will help you as often as needed, but it will take time before he can help you again once you do use a Hint.<\/li>\n<li>You may skip puzzles, but you will need to wait before they can be skipped (does not apply to Hardcore mode).<\/li>\n<li>You can keep track of where you are and where you\u2019ve been by using the Map, located in the bottom left of your screen.<\/li>\n<li>Click the Menu button to view options or return to the Main Menu at any time.<\/li>\n<li>All <b>Inventory Items<\/b> are written as such in the guide and shown at the bottom of your screen.<\/li>\n<li>Objects with blue names in hidden object scenes will need an extra action or combination before they can be picked up or crossed off the list.<\/li>\n<li>Collectible Miniatures, 26 in total, can be found throughout the game. Their locations are outlined in the guide below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor2\" name=\"anchor2\"><\/a>Royal Detective \u2013 The Lord of Statues Walkthrough<\/h2>\n<p>The village of Marlet is in trouble. Statues have come alive! Can you solve the mystery behind the statue maker and the Princess?<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor3\" name=\"anchor3\"><\/a>Chapter 1: Optics Workshop<\/h3>\n<p><i>Cobblestone Bridge<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your companion, Rupert, waves to you. Click on him; he will provide you with Hints from now on.<\/li>\n<li>Take a closer look at the rooster weather vane and add the <b>Rooster<\/b> to your inventory. The Miniature 1\/26 is under the rooster.<\/li>\n<li>Look down into the gap to the left. You can get the chest by using the <b>Rooster<\/b> on it. A hidden object scene will appear over the broken chest. Find all the items listed at the bottom of your screen. Once you&#8217;ve found them all, you will acquire the <b>Sheriff Star<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s a book on the ground. Collect the <b>Apple Part (1)<\/b> inside for your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Ahead is a locked gate. Place the <b>Sheriff Star<\/b> in the grove to open it and go to the next area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Plaza<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the bottom of the statue in front of you. The <b>Scoop<\/b> here can be added to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>A short ways ahead is a carriage. Collect the <b>Cane<\/b> and <b>Wheel Part (1)<\/b> here.<\/li>\n<li>Head right to the Storefront.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Storefront<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <b>Wheel Part (2)<\/b> is on the door. Click on it to collect it. Take a closer look at the statue on the right. The <b>Gold Coin<\/b> inventory item can be found here.<\/li>\n<li>Examine the window on the left. Knock down icicles with the <b>Cane <\/b>to reveal a hidden object scene.<\/li>\n<li>Find all the items in the scene. You will receive the <b>Apple Part (2)<\/b> once complete.<\/li>\n<li>Go back to the Cobblestone Bridge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Cobblestone Bridge<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the <b>Wheel Parts (1 and 2)<\/b> on the incomplete wheel on the broken wheel. The completed <b>Wheel<\/b> will be added to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Return to the Plaza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Plaza<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After the cutscene, look at the carriage and use the <b>Wheel<\/b> here. Click on the carriage to roll it away.<\/li>\n<li>Go straight through the arch to a new area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Estate Gate<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the left is a wheel. Collect the <b>Apple Part (3)<\/b> here to collect it.<\/li>\n<li>On the left is a stone fist coming through the wall. Collect the <b>Nail<\/b> to the left of it.<\/li>\n<li>Examine the chains on the right. Collect the <b>Lion Tile (1)<\/b> just beyond them to add it to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Have a look at the text in the right portion of the wall, then go back to the Plaza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Plaza<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Talk to the Archer statue and then look at the base. Examine the pedestal and trigger a puzzle using the <b>Apple Parts (1, 2, <\/b>and <b>3)<\/b>. Move the rings on the target so that the apple forms a complete image in the center. Now the store is open, so return to the Storefront and enter the Optics Workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Optics Workshop<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a look at the box on the table on the right. The Miniature 2\/26 is lying in front of it.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <b>Nail<\/b> from your inventory to remove the broken key, then use the <b>Gold Coin<\/b> to open the box. Collect the inventory items <b>Jam<\/b> and <b>Vampire Magnet<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Examine the camera to the right. Remove the lens, then after triggering the cutscene with the photo, collect the <b>Spring<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Examine the framed map at the back of the workshop. Make a puzzle appear by using the <b>Vampire Magnet<\/b> on it. Place the mythical creatures into their correct locations. Paint sections of the cake so that none of the touching sections have the same color. You will receive the <b>Lion Tile (2)<\/b> once completed. Collect the Miniature 3\/26 on the left and the <b>Hook with Chain<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <b>Magnifying Glass<\/b> in your inventory on the round stand, lighting a fire. Use the <b>Scoop<\/b> from your inventory to collect the resulting <b>Embers<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Return to the Estate Gate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor4\" name=\"anchor4\"><\/a>Chapter 2: The Estate<\/h3>\n<p><i>Estate Gate<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a closer look at the chains to the right. Melt the ice using the <b>Embers<\/b>, then click the <b>Wrench<\/b> to collect it. This will also make a hidden object scene show up. Find all the items listed. Once you&#8217;ve found them all, you&#8217;ll acquire the <b>Fossil<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Create a way up the tower by using the <b>Hook with Chain<\/b> on the window. Collect the Miniature 4\/26 in the lower right corner and the <b>Telescope<\/b>. Use the <b>Fossil<\/b> on the wolf statue and collect the <b>Flail<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Go back to the Cobblestone Bridge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Cobblestone Bridge<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the statue to the right. Trigger a cutscene by using the <b>Flail<\/b> from your inventory on it. Once the statue is gone, collect <b>Atlas\u2019 Head<\/b> and return to the Plaza.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Plaza<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set the <b>Telescope<\/b> up in the window of the tall house on the left. Collect the Miniature 5\/26 on the window sill and get the <b>Smith&#8217;s Tongs <\/b>by using the <b>Rooster<\/b>. After the cutscene, click on both again to re-add them to your inventory and return to the Storefront.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Storefront<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Look at the statue to the right and use the <b>Smith&#8217;s Tongs<\/b> to remove the nails. Collect the <b>Miner<\/b> and go back to the Estate Gate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Estate Gate<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Look at the damaged section of wall to the left and use the <b>Miner<\/b>. Look at the wall once more and collect <b>Atlas&#8217; Hand<\/b>. It will be added to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>To the right is a statue with missing parts. Place <b>Atlas&#8217; Hand<\/b> and <b>Atlas&#8217; Head <\/b>in their proper positions on the statue, then click on the gate.<\/li>\n<li>Open the gate by clicking on the knocker that looks like a lion and go into the next area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Garden<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Watch the cutscene after clicking on the little girl here.<\/li>\n<li>Take a closer look at the wicker basket on the left. Collect Miniature 6\/26 inside, the <b>Baking Form<\/b>, and the <b>Flowers 1\/2<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Examine the bucket under the sign. Collect the Miniature 7\/26 to the right of it, then collect the <b>Handle<\/b> above it.<\/li>\n<li>Miniature 8\/28 is on top of the Garden sign.<\/li>\n<li>Take a closer look at the fountain in front of you. Look at it again once the ice is gone to enter a puzzle. Click on the pot to make the water stop flowing, revealing a reflection in the water. Arrange the flowers so that they match this reflection. Completing this puzzle will reward you with a new hidden object area. Miniature 10\/26 is in the upper-right corner of the close-up. Click on the stone underneath it to move it aside and acquire the <b>Crest Part (1)<\/b> for your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Go through the arch on the left.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Tower Base<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the picnic basket sitting on the ground. Collect Miniature 11\/26 to the left of it, then pick up the <b>Ginger<\/b> inside to add it to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Pick up the <b>Crest Part (2)<\/b> next to the post on the left, then return to the Optics Workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Optics Workshop<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Look at the camera sitting on top of the table on the right. Use the inventory item <b>Handle<\/b> on the <b>Can of Flour<\/b>, then collect it and go back to the Estate Steps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Estate Steps<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go through the door up the steps and enter the Estate Hall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Estate Hall<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go through the double doors toward the bottom right.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Dinette<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Examine the mantle and click on the Miniature 12\/26 to the right next to the vase to collect it. Click on the envelope and a cutscene will pop up. Afterward, click on the rip in the painting to tear it away completely. Make a mental note about the clue tipping you off, then collect the <b>Princess Figure (2)<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Look at the chair on the left of the table. Startle the chicken using the <b>Rooster <\/b>to acquire the <b>Egg<\/b>. Remember to grab the <b>Rooster<\/b> again, too.<\/li>\n<li>The Miniature 13\/26 is at the top of the table close-up to the left of the teacup. Collect the <b>Glue<\/b> here, too.<\/li>\n<li>Put the <b>Can of Flour <\/b>and the <b>Ginger <\/b>on the table, then place the <b>Egg<\/b> on the stand. Put flour in the bowl using the wood spoon, add the egg, then apply ginger. Use the whisk to mix all the ingredients, then collect the resulting <b>Dough<\/b> for your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Go back to the Estate Hall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Estate Hall<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Head up the stairs and right.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Statue<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remove the cloth and examine the statue. Collect the <b>Princess Figure (3)<\/b> and the <b>Flowers 2\/2<\/b>, then go back to the Storefront.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Storefront<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Look above the door and use the <b>Wrench<\/b>, then collect the red <b>Rag <\/b>and go inside the Optics Workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Optics Workshop<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the <b>Baking Form<\/b> in the oven on the left and place the <b>Dough <\/b>in it. Collect the baked <b>Gingerbread <\/b>and go back to the Estate Hall.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Estate Hall<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Give the dog the <b>Gingerbread<\/b> and head past it through the white door to a new area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Servant Quarters<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a look at the sewing machine and collect the <b>Needle and Thread<\/b>. Look under the bed and collect the <b>Shovel<\/b>. Take a closer look at the top of the bed and break the crystal ball by clicking on it. Collect the <b>Golden Angel<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Examine the book lying beneath the pillow. After a cutscene, examine the bird cage. Open the door of the cage and add the <b>Horse&#8217;s Leg<\/b> to your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Open the closet to find a new hidden object scene. Find all the objects listed, then collect the <b>Gnome<\/b> as your reward and return to the Optics Workshop.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor5\" name=\"anchor5\"><\/a>Chapter 3: The Tower<\/h3>\n<p><i>Optics Workshop<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Look at the chair and use the <b>Rag<\/b> on it, followed by the <b>Needle and Thread<\/b>. Collect the fixed <b>Chair<\/b>, then go to the Dinette.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Dinette<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the <b>Golden Angel<\/b> on the box on top of the mantle and collect the <b>Emerald<\/b> inside.<\/li>\n<li>Place the <b>Chair<\/b> on the switch in the floor on the right side of the table to uncover a new hidden object scene. Use the <b>Magic Powder<\/b> on the book stand again to transfigure the animals.<\/li>\n<li>Examine each person and collect each of their <b>Coins 5\/5<\/b>. Obtain the <b>Handcuffs<\/b> off them as well.<\/li>\n<li>Attempt to use the <b>Miner<\/b> on the brick wall, but he won\u2019t be able to demolish it. Give the <b>Coins<\/b> to the Leprechaun that shows up to reveal a new hidden object scene. Collect all the items here to obtain the <b>Cannon<\/b>. Tip: If a wheel has slots up and left, it will rotate right, etc. If they\u2019re positioned up and right, it\u2019ll turn left. The puzzle solution is randomized, but this should help you solve it.
