See the walkthrough section of our guide for more in-depth strategies. However, for your quick-stop needs, this section will cover some of the essentials, as well as tips and tricks that will benefit you during gameplay.<\/p>\n<p><em>General Tips and How to Play<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Objectives are listed in the upper right corner of the screen. You may have multiple goals per level, however you can complete them in any order.<\/li>\n<li>Click to collect resources lying along the road. Resources are needed to perform tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Clear obstructions along the road that may be blocking your path. Each obstruction you clear has a cost in order to remove and\/or fix it.<\/li>\n<li>Resources are listed in the upper left corner of your screen.<\/li>\n<li>Gather additional resources from mines. The blue bar in the upper left corner of your screen indicates the rate at which fixed mines you own will turn out more resources. By default, mines will give you +1 resource per filling of this bar.<\/li>\n<li>Mines may also drop additional packs of +2 resources over time. Gather them as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Mines may be upgraded to turn out higher numbers of resources.<\/li>\n<li>Occasionally you will encounter a spot or platform which generates resources over time, but is not a mine. The star indicators inform you by when you will need to complete the level to obtain a higher score.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Advanced Tips and Tricks<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non-mine resource generators will not generate additional resources so long as the resources already available haven\u2019t been collected. Similarly, mines will not produce additional collectible bonus resources unless the ones already generated are collected. This does not affect the steady output of a mine, however.<\/li>\n<li>Use your boosts. Keep an eye on the boost bar at the bottom of the screen, which refills over time. If you do not use an available boost, the bar will continue to fill toward the next boost. Always scope out the most useful boosts you will need per level so you can activate them right away when they become available.<\/li>\n<li>During the \u201cClick to Start\u201d screen at the beginning of each level, you will be able to hover your cursor over any and all buildings, obstructions, and enemies for that level. Use this to your advantage to strategize how to tackle a level before beginning. Learn the basics and save the village!<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 01<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Objective: Remove 1 Ant<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect the resources along the road until you reach the damaged road. It requires 5 Jelly and 3 Chocolate to fix.<\/li>\n<li>Restore Mr. Pepper. Bigger baddies will surface here, so be prepared!<\/p>\n<p>From here on out, the strategies remain somewhat the same. Gather resources on the road you can immediately reach first and foremost. Your priority should be clearing obstructions to get to the mines on a most-needed basis. Make sure you have enough resources to get to the mines, or you\u2019ll need to start over! From there, clear obstructions to make your way further around the map. If there are Ants or other enemies, place emphasis on fixing Mr. Pepper so that he can remove them. If enemies stand at the end of a path, particularly large ones, focus on removing them last.<\/p>\n<p>The following is a list of levels found in \u00c9clair Valley and their objectives:<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 08<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 2 Ants, Remove 1 Big Fat Ant<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 09<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 2 Ants, Fix 1 Eclair Statue<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 10<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 2 Bees, Fix 2 Eclair Statues<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 11<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Fix 3 Houses<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 12<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 2 Ants, Remove 2 Captain Ants<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 13<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 3 Gluttons, Remove 2 Furries<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 14<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 7 Furries<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor5\" name=\"anchor5\"><\/a>Bavaroise Forest<\/h3>\n<p>The Bavaroise Forest is far from immune to the onslaught of hungry interlopers. Hurry and save the forest before it\u2019s eaten whole!<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be introduced to Strawberry Statues when you reach the Bavaroise Forest. They cost 20 Chocolate and 20 Butter to repair, so take this into account when prioritizing your resources. As always, you will need to fix Mr. Pepper before you can remove any pests that may inhabit the area. Strategies vary, but generally speaking, you should place emphasis on removing the pests last, due to the fact you need to take the extra step with Mr. Pepper in order to remove them.<\/p>\n<p>The following is a list of levels and objectives you will find when making your way through Bavaroise Forest:<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 15<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Fix 4 Houses<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 16<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 3 Bees, Fix 2 Strawberry Statues<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 17<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Fix 4 Houses<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 18<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 2 Bees, Remove 2 Gluttons, Fix 1 Strawberry Statue<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 19<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Fix 4 Houses, Fix 1 Strawberry Statue<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 20<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 3 Captain Ants, Remove 3 Big Fat Ants<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 21<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Fix 3 Houses, Fix 1 Strawberry Statue<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 22<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Remove 2 Furries, Remove 3 Gluttons<\/p>\n<p><em>Level 23<\/em><br \/>\nObjective: Fix 3 Houses, Fix 2 Strawberry Statues<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><a id=\"anchor6\" name=\"anchor6\"><\/a>Opera Cake Canyon<\/h3>\n<p>The cravings of the invaders only grow larger, as does the destruction they bring! Restore this section of Candy Land before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n<p>Opera Cake Canyon is much like Bavaroise Forest before it. In this area you\u2019ll be introduced to Chocolate Statues, which have the exact same cost as the Strawberry Statues you encountered previously: 20 Chocolate and 20 Butter. Place equal emphasis on repairing structures as scaring away any unwanted pests. Keep in mind that not only will Mr. Pepper need to be fixed, but a cost is required to drive away invaders.
