I like Match 3 games, but to my mind this is more of a combat game. Yes, you have to make matches, but there are also spells, combat tools, such as a short sword, grease, a net, etc. with which to slow down your opponents. As you learn a spell, the information on what the spell does stays on the screen for about a quarter of a second. I'm a fast reader, and I couldn't read the explanation of these spells. I'm a senior citizen, and this game is not for me. Match 3's, yes, but defending a wall against marauders, no.

Found it a waste of time and not in a relaxing don't think for awhile way. Just boring.

Anyone who enjoys playing fantasy games will like this. Every time you make a match on a row or column a spell shoots out toward approaching enemies. The trick is to make matches in the right rows and columns. It gets a little hairy sometimes when you just can't find a match, but there are spells and weapons you purchase to help you out. I was surprised at the low reviews and felt compelled to add one. This isn't my favorite match three, but it was worth playing and I even bought it. My kids and I play D&D together and we all loved it, so I'm wondering if you have to be a certain type of person to enjoy this game.

This is basically an Adventure Game. You must protect your castle with spells and warriors. Not my cup of tea, but kids will love it! Once you learn the necessary steps the game is fairly easy. Kids will love this game. Great game for hand and eye coordination.
