I tried in Free Trial. Saddened when it quit on me. I like the variety of challenges with each screen, but I personally am not a fan of spiritistic storylines. Most games are like that nowadays. Skipping that, I liked it. Didn't get to play it much- the hour flew by!

This is a match-3 game with puzzles and a story that is suited for younger kids. The puzzles are not hard but are appropiate to the game play. The music is celtic-like and almost Jethro Tull-ish. It's on the short side but has lots of variations to chose from. Alawar always gives good value for the money but I often have to turn the music off or down as it's obviously the game developer's taste and will not necessarily appeal to a broad range of people. Graphic's are okay. I played with my Playpass, would not buy it though as it's not my favorite genre and it's too juvenile for my taste.

I've rarely seen such lovely graphics in a match three, and the storyline was good. But once the story is complete, the Challenge section is an exercise in patience. Match three's are, by definition, a combination of skill and luck, as the objects fall, at random, into the playing field. But when the ONLY way to get a win on a game is for those random objects to land JUST SO, one might as well be playing a simple child's card game. Too bad, because the basic game, while short, is really superior in the artwork and story.

I really enjoyed this little game.. In Adventure mode you get a nice little story about a young girl who tries to save her parents after ice has covered their world. After most games you have a scene where you are required to place an object in the scene in order to advance the story. I found it charming. The games are very simple, but they take many forms. In one game you might have to make vertical matches to melt icicles, and in another you might have to make a match the same color as the marble on the top of the screen. There are so many variations that it's difficult to get bored. The Adventure mode is not very long, but there are six modes in all. One is a mini game mode where the types of matches required are quite challenging within the time constraints required. There is also a relaxed mode and three others. Kids and adults should enjoy this game, and even though it is short, there are hours of play with all the variations.,

I like Match 3's where you have something more to do than just match!

This game has lovely graphics and a nice story line. It is relatively easy to play and you can even challenge your own scoring ability. Each match 3 puzzle has some object that you are trying to obtain and sometimes it is a little harder than you think. Children will love this game and I think a few adults will too.

I started playing "The Snow" a few weeks ago and now it's definitely my favourite match 3 game. It beats even Bejeweled 3, it's that good. The music is simply wonderful, you cannot compare it to any other game music from this service. Graphics is lovable. It's nice to play, to watch and to listen. It's also surprisingly hard (in a good way) and even though adventure mode is a little bit too short for my taste, the challenging mode and mini games are really absorbing and fun. I highly recommend it to everyone.
