Here is how it works: You want to collect stars, not points. The points you make by destroying stones fill the scale which, when full, ends the game. Time does not matter, number of moves does, get as many points as possible with each move and its chain-reactions. Strategies are quite useless, since the chains you create will often create others, often more powerful ones. Depending on the number of moves you need, you can finish at stages gold, silver, copper or none, determining how many stars you get by multiplication. (in the end ranges from 1.010 to 20!) Starting with three elements you end up with six. For each element you can buy two power-ups with your stars. Each power-up gets one upgrade. Your basic stone gives 20-60 points on destruction, highest power-up 5.000, and when used in a big chain, up to 27.000 points. Great game, but somewhat lacking explanations on how it really works, but one can figure it out. And the story line ends before you got all your power-ups.

Lovely designed elemental characters, very helpful and well though through power ups plus an interesting story make this game as addictive as it is.

Do not like games that do not tell you how to play and win higher scores

This match 3 is a little different for a couple of reasons. First, you can purchase power-ups to enhance your game play, but there is little in the way of explanation on how to use them. I never did completely figure it out. It seemed that sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn't. Second, the manner in which game pieces would fall after a match was, I thought, awkward. I'd go to make a match, and all of a sudden the pieces weren't there anymore. They didn't quit falling very quickly, and if you waited for them to stop, you were eating up time. This is an okay game, but not great. I would recommend you spend your money elsewhere.

I love this game! I have been playing it every day since it's release and still love it. With each power-up the idols aquire a new function. I have spent hours at a time playing this game. This is one great Match 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a match 3 game with interesting extras that you can buy with game points. I found the rules for using these bonus powers a little vague when I tried to apply them during a game. Would have liked to find a general information section with an explanation of the rules for using the bonuses. Otherwise it is an amusing way to pass the time.
