I'm really enjoying this game though it makes me frustrated at times. I figure a lot of the puzzles and tasks out, but then sometimes get so close and still can't quite get it and end up consulting a walkthrough. I agree with the other review that it is a lot like a Myst type of game. Very good graphics. Rotatng views. If you like a challenge, check out this game!

Most reviewers referred to this game as similar to Myst. I loved Myst and all its sequels, but I find this game, even using a walk-through, to be awkward and frustrating. Perhaps my brain is wired differently, but I spent four very long hours getting practically nowhere. I even found the games/puzzles strange because it was difficult to even figure out what to do or how to execute. If you like awkward, frustrating games, you'll love this.

This is a sequel and it's an amazing game both as a sequel and on its own. Playing it as a sequel, however, adds a whole other fun element and the environment brings a sense of nostalgia and characters start to feel like old friends. This is a very intense, TRUE adventure game. What this means is that your actions can produce many different outcomes. Your decisions and discoveries determine the path the story takes. You are in an immersive 3-D environment and must use objects (either alone or combined) to solve puzzles or help you progress further. Lets take, for instance, a simple fire. You must find a location suitable for the fire, then you must find several objects required to start and maintain the fire. The objects can be several of many options provided in the environment, the trick is to find the ones that all work together. Then, once you have accomplished building the fire, you must find different uses for that fire. For example, can you cook some raw foods that you found earlier; can you burn something in your inventory to change its composition??? Similar challenges are presented throughout the entire game. This is a very time-consuming, challenging game, but extremely addictive. There are numerous walkthroughs available on the web. Don't be ashamed to use them, because chances are that you'll need to! But, overall, the challenges are worth it and you'll find yourself pushing forward to find out what lies ahead!

I really enjoyed this game since it really made you think. You have to find how to achieve your goals on your own but it can be preformed in your own order and time. No hidden agendas. You have specific tasks to complete to reach your goal but you decide when and where you do it. Some things are simpler than others but it was a nice pace and well worth the price. Trying to find the first one so I can try it as well.

This game leaves you hanging, trying to guess what's next without any logic or intuitive help, do not waste your money! It does have amazing artwork, other than that it's frustrating!

This game reminds me a lot of games like Myst. You walk thru the environment in 1st person and interact with it in many ways. Your decisions can effect you personally. Very good puzzles that take thought to get thru. Lots of places to investigate and I am only part way into the game. If you like interactive environment and puzzles, I highly recommend this game.

I have been waiting for this game to be available on mac for a long time and I am not deceived. A bit more challenging than the first as I remember it but so great. Many hours of hard thinking ahead.
