The higher the level you achieve in this game, the harder it gets. The hardest levels are the ones where the objects freeze and can't be used until they are unfrozen. It is made more difficult by the spaces underneath the frozen objects being empty. If you like a challenge, this is the game for you!

For about the first 20 or so levels this game was great ... fun, relaxing, enjoyable. When I got to where blocks are iced over and the more you get rid of more appear in their place and almost the entire board is full of iced blocks, this is where the game took a drastic turn for the worst and turned me completely against this game. Unfortunately the hammer doesn't break the ice, only matches break the ice but there weren't enough blocks left that weren't iced to make matches with. This is when I called it quits with about 30 minutes remaining of my free trial then deleted the game from my computer. Nope, this game is definitely NOT for me.

This game looked like it was going to be fun. Unfortunately, it isn't. The syntax and skipping of words is so bad that it's hard to figure out what the game is trying to tell you. And the music, while okay, repeats very quickly. As to the match 3 play itself, it's very awkward and just about impossible when so many blocks are frozen on the board, I do like the boards where you must clear them in a set amount of moves. Those make you think. But otherwise, this game is just not my cup of tea.

The Game: The game starts out with an animated introduction film that sets the game up. The graphics are nice. The game play itself is your normal match three with the game play progressing in difficulty as obstacles such as iced blocks and unmovable blocks are thrown in which is normal for match 3 games. The game can also be played in two different modes; timed and relaxed. The premise is that the village has a spell cast on it and to unlock the various buildings and houses you play match 3 boards to achieve the needed amount of crystals and such to successfully unlock the building and buy powerups. For the board to be completed you are given a number of clock hands that have to be collected. The clock hands will randomly appear on the board throughout your game play. Some boards require as few as 25 clock hands be collected while others are quite higher with numbers over 100. The Good: Lots of powerups to purchase. With the Armegeddon power up for instance, total annihilation of the pieces on the board is at your grasp which is always fun. Just sit back, take your hand off the mouse, and watch your board explode. Good times! The bad: About 80% in to the game things start going bad. Just like the other reviewer said, you can find yourself in a totally locked up board due to all the iced over and unmovable blocks. When no moves are available the board will reshuffle itself but but I found myself in a "no moves available" loop that wouldn't end. I ended the game and restarted but lo and behold the boards don't refresh when you restart! Normally that's a good thing but not in this instance. You also do not have the option of restarting a board that is in progress. If you get in a "no moves available" loop you will have to restart the entire game. More bad news: Even while playing on relaxed mode you have one minute to gather all the designated amount of clock hands. If you do not then you are penalized a portion of the the hands you have collected. For instance; you have 65 hands to collect, at the end of the 1 minute mark of the timer (even in relaxed mode!) you may have collected 50 hands but you will be penalized a percentage of those hands for not collecting all 65. The board I am currectly stuck on requires me to collect 160 clock hands. The penalty every minute is 30 hands. The normal amount of hands on the board to be collected at any one time is around 5. I have been playing this same board since yesterday and have deemed it impossible to beat therefore impossible to continue on with the game. Hence the frustration. Conclusion: Play the game and have fun with it, just don't be upset if you can't finish.
