Overall fairly good game, draws you into the interesting plot. Suffers from sometimes vague directions, you're left wondering just what to do although items you can interact with are labeled. The trick is figuring out how to interact with them. The mini games can be very frustrating and cannot be skipped. But they all have some sort of trick to them and when you catch on to that angle, you can complete them. Objects can be cleverly hidden, but the only time you get true hidden object screens is to earn clues for the main storyline- and those are timed. Another detraction is it was difficult to keep the suspension of disbelief going when she blithely broke into the police captain's office, (twice, in broad daylight) or helps herself to things from various locations without consequence, and other questionably legal actions. Its clearly teaching "the ends justify the means". It always seemed just a bit too convenient to be believable. Even though she claimed she was no electrician, if you did one puzzle she could rewire alarms and security cameras without missing a beat. The most glaring problem is how it ends up- it just suddenly ends in two cartoon panels, almost as if when they got to what should have been climax and ending scenes, they ran out of budget or time and just ended it up in two sentences, leaving the player feeling extremely unsatisfied and ripped off. The plot details weren't clearly explained or spelled out, you just have to make your own conclusions. Even the picture you collected throughout the whole game (which is odd itself) never displays when finished. Nonetheless the story can be fun when its all going well.

I have played some other Natalie Brooks games, but this one seems more awkward. It's an adventure style game with hidden object scenes as an aside. You don't have to do them unless you need to earn hints. The game is strictly linear; things must be done in order. The conversations (written only) are mostly nonsensical. Natalie thinks things like antiquities are "stupid," which is not much of an example for children. She also takes what she wants from other people. Additionally, the scenes jump around for no reason. I could be playing a hidden object scene, and in the middle of finding objects the game jumps to a visited building for no discernable reason. All in all, not worth playing, much less worth the money to purchase.

This game is very frustrating. The hidden object you are supposed to find to earn hints are impossible to see. There is not much in the way of help. I really am sorry that I purchased this game

This game gives you more then just seek n find. You need to put things together to create a new item. You get involved in the story and I felt addicted to solving. You can not get out of a room until you figure out what you need to do. This game makes you think outside the box. Mini games a plus. (need more like this one)

Lots of fun, when it worked. Unfortunately, the game crashed frequently and any savegames were corrupt.

This is a mix of adventure game and hidden object. The adventure screens are point and click style and the hidden object screens are interspersed as bonus challenge searches. Definitely worth a look if you're bored of match3 or run of the mill hidden object. It's fun for a few hours, but be warned that it might possibly (not definitely) lock up on you and the story doesn't really make any sense. Despite the adventure game appearance, it is not nearly as involved. For adults? -- ** A few hours of relaxed play, but too easy. For kids? -- *** Would be more challenging for younger players but hints are everywhere. This is a kid friendly game and younger players would probably enjoy it a lot. A good game to play with your child. Pluses: -Glad to see an adventure-type game. -The hidden object screens are well done. -The style choice is a bit odd but the art is nice. -Accessible to all sorts of players. -Some of the puzzles are quite fun. Minuses: -Buggy: The game crashes and/or locks up. -Vague or Erroneous Text: The hidden object lists are supposed to define (at least it is implied in the text) map wide searches, not scene wide. They are not. If this is not the case the directions should be changed. Misspellings and labellings in the text are confusing (in the case of mislabeled objects) or simply look poor. -Illogical storyline: While I appreciate the style this game is going for the storyline is too nonsensical for this type of game. There is no reason for half of the things she does or decisions she makes. Some decisions are blatantly ridiculous. In addition, the game is "on rails," so you have no choice but to do things in one specific order. This makes the game less engrossing or challenging than it could have been. -Puzzles: While some of the puzzles are very enjoyable, a few are only difficult because the game might not have registered your "click" on a certain area. This is not an uncommon problem with these games but still a major flaw. Since even the puzzles are on rails, you cannot solve a room in an order that makes sense to you. Only the order ascribed by the game. -No re-playability: A little bit more involvement might have made this game re-playable.
