I use to play a lot of Bat & Ball games, but haven't for quite awhile. I am sure glad I saw this one when it came up as a new game. What great graphics in 3D and colorful as well. There are all kinds of power ups and power downs so be careful. Your top of the line flyer is ready for it all, just make sure you are ready for this game. Oh yes, there are little green guys and crabs that will get you if you don't watch out. The big guy is tough and was a rough fight to get him, but I did.. Lots of fun with this game and a purchase is in line. Enjoy and have fun.

It's been a while since I've played these arkenoid games, smashing buildings and boats and stuff with a ball while trying to prevent losing that ball with a paddle. This one's a lot of fun, but I don't see too much difference from the old Strike Ball games except for more powerups and more sophisticated demolition. The color and images don't seem as true as the older games, but it could be because I'm now using a wide screen. A real plus is that a level ends even if you haven't got every single thing destroyed. Used to be you'd have to spend so much time trying to get sometimes one single thing that was off in a remote area. If you like this type of game, it's worth a download. It's good every now and then to turn the volume up and smash things all to pieces.

What a fun brick breaking game! Graphics are good, like the little monsters and all the power ups. Find the story line with the robot cheesy but my grandchildren like it. The music is annoying so we all voted to turn it off However, the sounds are charming and the grandkids got a hoot out of them and are running imitating. Altogether worth a buy and defintely a replay. Didn't give it four stars as I am a devoted P vs Z and Mini Robots action player.

Funny that after the ball breaker style of games not really being popular for years, we now have two new ones to choose from in less than a week. Comparing the two, Mega World Smash and Ball Buster (really, who thought this was an appropriate name for a game anyway?), both games have similar dynamics, however, Mega World Smash is the more polished and innovative of the two. The music actually has some variety and I find it enjoyable in Mega World, where it is annoyingly tinny on "Buster". The graphics in Buster are very elegantly drawn, where Mega World is much like a playable cartoon. Both are well done. Camera controls are a bit difficult to get the hang of in Mega World, if you are used to playing Ricochet, which uses the right click to control ball movement, it'll take a few tries and a few ball loses before you remember not to touch the right button in the heat of a game! Once you've played awhile though, the controls become second nature. Buster's controls are more simple and straightforward. Gameplay is really where these two part ways, with Mega World coming out way ahead. Buster's paddle is a bit sluggish when played wide-screen, and even with regular screen size still doesn't feel like the paddle is exactly mimicking the mouse action. The power ups in Mega World have green bases for the "good" powerups, and red for the "bad", making it simple to determine what to catch even in the heat of the game. Buster's powerups seem to me randomly colored, one yellow powerup can be good, where another does awful things. This would be okay in a game that allowed you time to think, but in a game like this where nearly ever decision you make is split-second, it is no fun. Ricochet is still the gold standard by which these types of games are measured, and Mega World brings something new to the table (bosses to defeat, variety of characters to play as) that makes it worthy of comparing to the master. Buster is just another almost-ran in a long line of copycats.

Stunning HD Graphics. Cute eye candy. Good fast paced action. Each screen takes about two or three min. Really good game for all ages.

I have played several of the ball buster games and this is one of the best.It gives you many chances to add lives while throwing new characters at you to end your lives.
