The reviews likened this game to My Kingdom For the Princess, but I disagree. While the basic premise is similar, the rest of the game falls short of the challenge and charm of Kingdom. I found the constant enemy attacks, rebuilding of roads and stolen resources to be extremely annoying and counterproductive. However, this might be just the kind of experience that other players are looking for. Although the mechanics of the game are pretty basic, the glaring lack of a decent tutorial may frustrate younger players.

This game seemed unique enough and like it would be enjoyable. I would liken it to My Kingdom for the Princess. However, as stated by others, there are NO instructions whatsoever. I spent the 15 or 20 minutes that I was playing mindlessly clicking on anything and everything, while not really having any clue why or what I was doing. True, there are simplified help files but nothing is really explained to you that you couldn't figure out if you sat and tried to get the whole big picture on everything by yourself. I found myself annoyed with such a blatant omission (a tutorial in a game like this is a MUST as far as I'm concerned). Could have been a good game but the designers missed the boat on this one.

Despite the lack of a decent tutorial I really like this game. Yes it may be a little confusing sometimes because of the lack of instruction, but I think that once you get to grips with how the game works you can figure out what you're meant to do. I find it's challenging and strategic, which is the exact type of game I like. As others have said, it is a lot like My Kingdom for the Princess, but I actually prefer this game. Overall I feel it's worth a try.

I had a lot of fun playing through this game. You get to build nice-looking things, & it's easy enough for a child, yet challenging enough for his Grandma.

I was excited to see a new game that wasn't a Hidden Object so I rushed to download it. Well, unfortunately I wasn't impressed. I had a hard time figuring out the object of the game. The tutorial wasn't very helpful. I figured out what to do, but not until I was a bit into the game. Kids would probably enjoy this game. The graphics are pretty good. The bad men/good men aspect was fun. There isn't any real violence unless you count the "bad gys" knocking the "good guys" down. Not something I would rush out to buy. Waiting until it's on the free game would be fine for me.

The game doesn't get off on the right foot, as the tutorial section doesn't really give you much to go on. The constant clicking on the various work areas to keep the men working drove me bonkers. I was hoping it would be much more like Kingdom for the Princess, however it very much wasn't.

It seems like for awhile all I was seeing was hidden object games being released, so when I tried something different I was glad. Now this genre seems to be exploding and I'm grateful for the change. However, so many of the kingdom building games seem to be similar to me. At least this one doesn't have the all-too-familiar castle being built between levels, along with a tired story to go along with it. The first time I saw that in one of the top games it was O.K., but after awhile it just causes me to hit the "skip" button in games that I play. Perhaps it would be different if the story was original, but most I've seen aren't. This game does have a lack of instructions, but some of the tutorials I've seen for some other games are redundant if you've played similar games in the genre before. They don't offer many strategy tips so you end up figuring it out yourself anyway. There needs to be a better balance between the two or else you just have to wait until hints or a walk-through is released. This game isn't perfect, but I thought it had great re-playability and remains one of my favorites in this genre. At least I didn't notice a lot of grammar errors or bugs that I've seen in some of the other games that I've played and it's long enough to really enjoy playing it too. Some game aspects that others found irritating I found enjoyable so I guess it's good that there are different games for different people.
