Not a bad bowling game, once you get the feel for how to move your mouse. If you select the mouse steering option, you can continue to guide the ball once you release it. So be careful about randomly moving your mouse as the ball is traveling down the lane, or you may be surprised at the result (like a gutterball). Part of the point of bowling is to see how many gold pins you knock over, which are then used to purchase ball upgrades, ball power-ups, and different styles of lanes. However...nothing to indicate how many points you need to purchase the ball or lane upgrades. I like to know what I'm shooting for, pardon the pun, when playing a game, or how else do you know if you're getting anywhere? That alone would lose the game stars, but lets add on the incomplete instructions. Here's another game that expects you to read "symbol language." I finally discovered that the symbol by my name shaped like (ll) is how you open up options and a written tutorial. When you just start out playing from the main menu, you don't know what the gold pins are for or how to spend them. And I only discovered that there are additional lanes by clicking on the scores icon and following the arrow pointing right. But again, no information on how to access those additional lanes. One other tip. Once your ball strikes the pins, the game doesn't automatically continue. You have to click on the screen to set up the next shot. Overall, this was fairly easy to bowl, somewhat frustrating to figure out what the game entails, and a complete mystery as to how to actually succeed because of a missing point system. That's where I'll give this game the gutter.

This game is not a single player game and really needs more to be of any fun. I think the game-makers missed a trick as they could have included computer tournaments and a ranking system etc, but this is just straight bowling which is no real fun if you are 'billy no-mates'.

If you enjoy bowling or would love to learn while having FUN, this game will be right up your alley! ;) Graphics alone is FIVE stars! Instant replays on your bowling after each frame! Wait till you see the replays when you get a strike...WOW! Your choice of graphics... personally, I chose beautiful but you can check that out for yourself. Up to four players can compete w/each other which makes this game even more FUN for the entire family. Sound effects plus the graphics of your bowling in 7 different alleys makes you feel like your right there. Scoring is done professionally for.you on a scorecard. You will need to learn how to control the bowling ball as you would in real play. Nice tutorial. The Golden Pin adds to the fun for great power ups. Music is upbeat & there is a game commentary that is funny but I muted it while I was learning how to bowl. So much to rave about this game that you definitely need to give this game a try...HAVE FUN!!

This is far from my favorite bowling game. When you begin, you don't know what the heck is going on. And it becomes boring because you're not playing against anyone (although you could play with family members). For me, Polar Bowl is a much better game, mostly because you're bowling against another player (bears, penguins, etc.) who have their own personalities. There are also different bowling environments, which are not offered here. It helps you to get more involved and have more fun. As bowling games go, I would not recommend this one.

First time I have reviewed any game, this is horrible!!!!! I have played all of the bowling games & this one is awful. I did not like this at all. All bowling games have the same basic instructions & I tried the tutorial, just to be sure it did, I am glad I just did the free 60 minutes. I did not even make it through the tutorial. Music is horrible, commentary sounds like Jersey Shore.
