I love this game when I need to do house work or other things, I just mate my fish have my babies ( set the computer time up two hrs) then sell what fish I don't want. while they are selling I do my fast work like load the dishwasher or sweep the floor etc...

The game is not quite as "realistic" as is advertised but this is still a must play for any aquarium freak! There are many different types of fish that can be bred most of which are very reminiscent if not identical in appearance to commonly kept aquarium species. The names however are different and their care requirements are as well....ie. species that would, in real life, be very fragile are often quite hardy in the game and vice versa. Plus every fish is apparently hermaphroditic?? I do agree that it's not for people who like a degree of excitement in a game. It's more for people, like myself, who just want to sit and zone out in front of the computer. I only played the trial version...I'll definately be using my next FunTicket on this one!

I, my husband, and our grandkids all have their own aquariums. Easy to learn, but very challenging. Being able to speed up time, or stop it altogether, makes it practical for anyones schedule. Trading notes on care and breeding turns a solitary game into a family affair. Highly addictive!

I loaded the 1 hour trial. The game would be far more exciting to me if it weren't in real time. I prefer instant gratification and don't have patience enough to wait for the fish to mature before I can sell them to earn a profit, buy more fish eggs, food, etc., only to wait for them to mature to repeat the process. The prices for some of the equiptment and supplies are so high that it seems it would take forever (again - real time) to earn enough money to purchase them. Nice graphics, original concept, but not for the impatient or those looking for a fast-paced TM game!

I was hooked on this game from the start. It seems very simple, but is actually pretty challenging! Keeping your fish healthy and alive can be difficult but never stops being fun. Figuring out the magic fish is definitely not easy! Real time makes it a great vlaue, but I don't recommend for the very impatient! Although you can speed up time, real time is a better value because the games lasts so much longer. I definitely recommend this game!
