I'm at the level where I have to buy a lumberjack for 8000. I just can't get past this one. Along the bottom and sides of the playboard, squares are double locked; I'm playing on relaxed mode, and there simply isn't enough time to unlock the squares AND make matches to change the entire board to one color. Frustrating to the 10th degree. Also, it doesn't fill the whole screen so it's tiring on the eyes. I bought this on sale for 2.99, but still, no matter what one pays for a game, if you can't solve the problem to move forward, it's not fun anymore. I think this is the 3rd day; I keep coming back to solve it, but have a feeling the rest of the puzzles may be even harder, if I do get past this one. Which is why I give it 1 star. I like a challenge, but not impossibilities.

The Good: Graphics are good, nice colors. Building a city is always fun. The Bad: The game board is so small it's really hard on the eyes. The Ugly: The game play is so slow you can't get a rhythm going, and why do the pieces have to pulsate? It plays havoc with my eyes. No thanks.

Why do the game developers always think they have to get cute? What might have been a good game ended up awful. An undulating board is not the way to get buyers.I deleted it after 3 levels. Too hard on the eyes.

The concept was good, the graffics okay, but the actual game board was so annoying I deleted it. The swelling and shrinking of characters was distracting and response to the mouse was very slow, at least on my computer

The game starts out with a story, about the god Mars. He thinks humans are not worthy of building anything for the gods. So the other gods make a bet with him. You can skip the story . It's kind of like a (TM) but with match 3s. You try to finish the board as fast as you can so you can get a discount bonus on buying power ups and etc. Your goal is to get as much gold, stone, wheat, bread and so on so you can buy stuff at which time you will be asked to do a task. It really is a fun game and it does get harder as you proceed in the levels but there are 3 modes you can choose from. I did have a little trouble with the game when it started to do a 3D thing but I went to the options and there you can turn off the high quality and the game was just fine. Give it a try. I know I am hooked on it.
