its addictive and annoying you have to really think or be a genius at logic puzzles. You must use most of the hints or else you will never get through it.

Normally I enjoy a difficult HOG, but this one was difficult and too frustrating. I agree with one of the other reviewers - you must be a genius at solving puzzles. I had to use too many hints which was annoying. I didn't complete the hour trial.

This is a tough little game. In one Hidden Object scene the items were so obscure that even with help pointing them out, I could hardly find them. Got stuck on one of the puzzles and there was no hint, skip or reset button. Had to resort to walkthrough - shouldn't have to do that. Some things you needed to do were really vague and I had to ask for hints over and over. Like "thinky" challenging games but want them to be easy enough to master at least. I wouldn't replay this. If I hadn't purchased it with Fun Pack, I would have been upset to have purchased it. f

This game was a little confusing at first since you jump from past to present to solve puzzles, collect items or recover artifacts and took some getting used to. But once I understood how to use the amulate it became more and more addictive. Some puzzles were quite challenging and did not offer hints. This adds to the appeal of the problem solving part of the game. If you enjoy IHOG this is a must have!

I was looking forward to the sequel after really enjoying Alabama's Pompeii adventure, but unfortunately I found this one too confusing jumping from past to present and / or area to area once you got the amulet. I didn't know where I should be to solve the puzzles. I relied heavily on the available hint which charges up quickly, but then it takes away the fun and the challenge of trying to do it yourself. Sorry to say, I gave up in the end which is not like me.

A bit of a change compared to the typical Hiddden Object games. I found it very challenging, but it is still relitively short, it took a few hours to beat.
