I'm a huge mah jong fan, and this was just barely okay for me. It's pretty enough to look at, but the jeweled tiles are SUPER easy to identify and eliminate, to the point where the challenge is almost entirely removed. I didn't need to use the powerups once - and in fact, I am not sure you can even lose a board. I even tried to sabotage myself so that I would end up with tiles that didn't match to see what would happen, and the game corrected it for me. The game even makes reference to saving the "skip game" functionality for "harder levels," but I played for nearly two hours and it never got one bit harder. If you are looking for a beginner's mah jong game, or an easy, relaxing experience, this one might be the one for you. I found that it wasn't at all challenging. And as far as I can tell, the "3D" aspect of it is limited to being able to view a completed scenic puzzle in 3D (if you happen to have glasses lying around.) I acknowledge that I may be missing something as I stopped and uninstalled after less than 2 uninspiring hours, but this game was just far too easy for me. It'd be great for younger kids.

The 3D part is misleading. The game is only 3D if you have 3D glasses, and even then you only view some pictures you unlock. Playing mahjong is plain old 2D. I really like the bright gemstone tiles. It’s easy to make matches by colors and shapes; no squinting trying to read small symbols! And it’s certainly easy enough for anyone to do, even if you’ve never played mahjong before. There are four power-ups that are poorly explained. They are earned by matching their tiles, and each level give you the chance to earn all four. But you can only stockpile one of each kind, so you might as well use them since you can easily earn more in the next level. The “magic” power up isn’t explained at all: it reshuffles some of the tiles. I found the mahjong games easy, since if there are no more moves, the game will keep reshuffling and turning over matches for you. I won every level in the hour trial. Winning is fun, but not if you know that you can’t lose. That would be the negative for me in this game.

It wasn't too difficult but still a lot of fun! I enjoyed it!

This isn't the hardest Mahjong I have played but I really enjoy this game. Sometimes I don't want to beat the clock and just enjoy some zen! Love the graphics! I have never met a Mahjong I didn't like!

This game has bright colorful tiles, with nice mountain art work. It has a few tricks to keep you on your toes as well. Fun for the whole family.
