The graphics are pretty good. And that's it. If you want more... there are three matching styles: switching two icons, chaining, and group matching. But because you have to drop fish off the bottom of the board, it's pretty hard to do that unless you switch to individual tile matching at some point. The fish are "locked" in place, so the only way to deal with them is to match below them. But matching that last icon below the fish isn't that easy, or even necessary, unless you want to use the penguin power-ups. The level ends when the snowy tiles are removed and when you complete the scoreboard of tiles to match, located at the top of the screen (which I didn't notice initially. Duh.) The Yeti pops in and out of the screen, which is all he did at the point at which I discontinued the game. Congrats to another reviewer who played a number of levels, but there were just too many little things that I found annoying to continue, like the mushroom icons. Really? At the South Pole?

The best thing about this game was the music, which was cute, upbeat and bouncy. There were no real directions, other than the explanation that you could choose three modes of play, chaining, grouping, or matching. I chose to play in matching because once you got toward the bottom, as noted by another reviewer, it was almost impossible to get the fish or other frozen pieces off the board. It took me quite awhile to realize that I not only had to break all the snow blocks but that I also had to complete the matches at the top of the board. Who looks up there? This is very repetitive with no variation, and the squares are quite small. I don't even think kids would get all the way through without becoming bored. I played 40 games, or 4 levels, before giving up.

I loved Atlantic Quest and Farm Quest and am happy that roka came out with another fun, cute game. I'm sorry it didn't get better reviews cause I love these roka games. They must be geared to the way I like to play! Some people complain they are too hard or too easy but for me they are just right.

Cute game for kids. Too easy for adults. Good game to play to unwind. The 3 modes adds to replay value. Got bored quickly.

Way to easy, but is a relaxing game when you want to be mind numb. My 7 year old grandson loves it. Just wish there was a lot more to it.

a typical M3G. match tiles to remove snow and to remove fish to have power ups. the power ups were helpful. i found it easy to accomplish the goals on each level. the music and graphics were good. jst an ok game...

It's just a match 3 game. Nothing to do but match things, no buildings to build, gardens to plant, It's a good game for young kids.

I completed about half the levels, then had a glitch where when I cleared some of the lower blocks, an upper block wasn't refilled. The problem was that it was an ice covered block, which must be cleared to finish the level and move on. There is no way to restart a level until you've completed it. My only option was to start a new profile and play the levels again. I saved a penguin for this level, thinking it might be a glitch on that level, and had the same problem, but cleared the ice using a penguin. However, I had the same problem on other levels, and eventually ran out of penguins, and once again got to a point where it was impossible to advance any further because of a glitched block. Said block would also not explode from a mushroom, which typically they will. Even without the glitching, the game play is slow and a bit too easy, and while the level is timed for a score, there is no time to beat. Not really worth the time to install it.
