Webbies

Save the critters of Magic Forest from cruel starvation in Webbies, a captivating logic and strategy game! Hurgen the grumpy old wizard has recruited his hairy spider assistant Alfred to collect all the forest friends' food with his enchanted webs in the hope that starvation will drive the little fellows out. With tears in their sweet, sad eyes, they plead, "We beg you! You're our only hope!" Your heart will melt and you'll be in the game.

The early levels give you lots of practice at improving your aim and understanding the function of various tools that help deliver the fruits, nuts, and honey combs to the hungry hedgehogs, squirrels, owls, and bears. Achievement of each level concludes with a celebration of fireworks and a smiling, bouncing critter.

The challenge increases as you move through the levels, and there are opportunities in every puzzle for bonus points. As the puzzles get harder, the "Undo Last Move" option is awesome for figuring out how to get the right amount of food to the right furry friend. Each success brings triumphant satisfaction and the drive to keep going to the next level.

Critics are calling Webbies a hit with its "family-friendly story and feel-good objective." See for yourself when you try the free trial version of Webbies or download the full-unlimited version today!

A very addictive game that starts out easy but just keeps getting harder. There is no speed factor so you can work out the best moves for the highest scores. The web slung arrows are a feature I have never seen used before this. The little creatures look so sad when they don't get their treats that you can't resist trying again. There is one level I just couldn't get, but I think that specific one depends too much on the luck of the bounce rather than a solution that can be worked through. All in all an excellent game.

Tlhis game starts out so benign. Then it gets harder and harder but always workable. Well, except for two games I skipped that completely baffled me. You can try as many times as you want to work the puzzle, points higher the quicker you do it. You try to gather balls using a sling-shot approach and then hit a target. Lots of obsticles in the way, and you have to bounce balls off walls, etc. This game frustrates me at times, but it still is the most fun.

This game is in the same genre as Cut the Rope and Lost Head, but for my money it's much less boring and a lot more fun. The premise is that a mean old giant spider is building webs in the forest, and the critters will starve if they can't get their food. Your job is to figure out how to delivery the required amout and kind of food to each critter (there are five in all, but not all are on each level). If you don't succeed, their eyes get big and well up with tears. Believe me, that kept me trying until I succeeded. Each critter has his own kind of food and doesn't like anything else. For instance, the owl eats only oranges, the squirrel eats only nuts, the bear eats only crackers, etc. So you have to not only figure out how to sling the food, but you also have to make sure it's the right kind. The problem gets much more complicated as the levels increase. I finished all the levels, but not at the top score possible, so I still have a lot of game play left. This game, at least for me, did not get boring like some others of its kind. Great game for both adults and kids.

Couldn't sleep so I decided to give this game a try. Bad idea! I ended up staying up a lot longer than I should have. This game is truly addictive, so don't say you haven't been warned. You slingshot food to little animals. It starts out cute and simple, but as the game progresses, it gets more challenging and requires more strategy. You can go back anytime to redo levels and earn stars. A cool feature is that if a level is too tough, you can skip it, and come back later. The game sounds simple, but it can get quite involved as you try to figure out the best strategy. The characters are adorable, the music is whimsical, and time really flies.

Webbies is an outstanding game for the whole family! Your job is to feed the little critters who are starving due to an evil wizard and his pet spider. They have found a way to wrap up the animal's food in extra strong spider webs. The spider webs will act as a slingshot which enables you to aim the food at the critter and shoot it into his mouth. Different animals eat different foods. At first glance, it looks easy until you take into account the scoring system. You can receive between 1 and 3 stars on each level. But I couldn't figure out how to earn more than one star for awhile. There is a scoring explaination on the screen but I overlooked it until much later into the game. You can complete the level the easy way or you can get creative and see how many points you can earn by combining food, bouncing the food off walls ect. Each level is different from the rest. I couldn't believe how much time I had spent playing without taking a break. It is SO addictive. As the levels progress it gets very challenging, with moving obstacles, other creatures who will steal your food, mazes and other difficult situations. The graphics are bright and sharp, the animation is superb. The critters are absolutely adorable. Children will love feeding them. The game is well designed for children. If you make a mistake with a shot, there is NO penalty. You can reverse it and try again. This is a great feature especially since in order to beat the level you have to feed the animals the required amount of food. It would be very frustrating on the longer, more complicated levels if you had to start over because you misjudged a shot. You can also earn a guided shot by playing a mini game. A guided shot will show you were your shot will end up before you release the food. Now this is NOT just a game for children. As I mentioned, the scoring system makes the game interesting and challenging for adults. Getting 3 stars on some levels is hard and it's not always obvious how to get that third star. There is a lot of experimenting that goes on while trying to rack up points. But there is also a thrill of achievement when you get the coveted third star (OR score even higher than that!) I'm very impressed by this game! It's so addictive, it's family friendly, the replay value is great and I hope that we see more of these type games in the future.

I loved this game - after playing the game for an hour using the trial period there was no way I was stopping then so bought it. No regerets! It is great fun, and makes you stop to think and figure out how to beat a level, There were two levels I had to skip because I just couldn't work them out - I will go back and try again. The game gets progressively harder as you go through the levels, but not frustratingly so (and there is always the skip option if you just can't figure it out). The characters are cute, and it is fun to find ways of beating the suggested three-star score. I was disaapointed to reach the end of the game.
