The beginning gets you set up pretty well to understand the game. The side paths become much more difficult than the main path as the game goes on. This is really a puzzle game - not like some of the other puzzle games that have mini puzzle w/in. You have got to think this through. I found placing identical tiles near each other helpful when trying to figure out the final layout.

thank goodness i read the reviews b/f i played this game. this game is extremely challenging. using a hint to get me started-as one reviewer advised-was very helpful. i like that there was no time limit, so i was able to leisurely put the pieces together. i can see how this game can be very frustrating-if u get 1 piece out of place it throws the whole puzzle off, but using the hint helped curtail that frustration. i found the graphics on this game to be beautiful, and the way the animals became animated as u completed a puzzle was great. i like this game b/c it is so challenging. i felt a tremendous sense of accomplishment when i completed a puzzle. there was a goofy grin on my face every time. i found the bonus puzzles very difficult, and have to admit i didn't complete some of them, but that doesn't halt ur progress in the game. this is a game u can play over and over and still enjoy, and be challenged. i do play games for fun, to lose myself in them, to forget the stress of my days, but sometimes a real brain teaser is fun, too. this is a game i'll definately add to my library.

I think this game would be great for those with smarts, but I am lacking the grey matter for this one. It is very orginal. The graphics were good and this one took alot of thought, I think.

To get the maximum score- gold - you need to solve the puzzle as quickly as possible with the fewest hints. Fortunately, you can move forward in a couple of ways - either by not using hints or not using up too much time. This game requires you to plan your moves, and think spatially/visually. It's quite challenging, the graphics are great, and it's quite a pleasure to finish the puzzle within the time and hint goals specified. Give it a try!

Disclaimer: This review is made after limited play of the game because, for me, this game is not fun. It is extremely not fun. You twirl puzzle pieces so that they all fit together. It starts out easy but shortly is difficult. That means that you remove pieces you've placed, replace them, over and over again. Furthermore, there are obligatory side trips in which the order that you place the pieces counts. If you don't get the placement and order right, yup, you remove your pieces and start again. This is probably a love it or hate it type of game. People who like Rubik's cube type puzzles might like it. Me, my job gets my brain cells, and I play games for fun. This game isn't fun; I think I already made that point. However, the graphics are nice and the music is pretty good.

A beautiful game, with lush, tropical graphics. Your task, as an explorer, is to piece together triangular stones to fit onto ancient monuments. Each triangular side has a part of an animal drawn on it, and when you match up the animals correctly, they morph from 2D to 3D and become animated. Very cool! But the challenge is putting the puzzle pieces together correctly. The first couple puzzles seemed fairly easy, but with later puzzles, the additional pieces meant a greater number of combinations...and the puzzle pieces can be rotated, adding even more combinations. So I found it easier to start off with a hint and put at least one piece where it belonged, and work from there. I think this is a game that will "click" with you, or it won't. At first, I didn't think I would get it, but I found myself enjoying it, like doing an animated jigsaw puzzle. Make use of the hints early on, and you'll get the hang of it early on! Also give this a try if you enjoy deciphering codes or working with jigsaw puzzles.

The puzzles aren't easy, but they are fun, and if you don't make it in the time specified you aren't penalized. As far as I'm concerned, it's a very good game.
