couldnt stop playing, graphics were great, loved it.

I'm afraid I couldn't enjoy this game as much as I would have liked. It probably would be good for those new to HOG but I did find it too clicky and the dialogue boxes drove me mad. The objects didn't always look anything like the thing they were supposed to be in many scenes. Definitely grab as many green bottle hints as you go through, because there are levels when you will definitely need them. Quite moody scenes, good music and graphics, but it did get a bit boring after half an hour.

The reviews were right about this game, but in fairness since it was todays free download I decided to try it. After 30 minutes I deleted it. The screens are way too dark, it gave me a headache just staring in the dark areas trying to find things. I agree that the dialog is very annoying, but you can click through them. It is a straight forward HOG. No challenge in the 30 minutes I played it. Sorry Gamehouse, but this game should be retired.

too much dialogue, dull scenes, nothing that inspires.

This game is not worth the time to download...The graphics are poor, extremely distorted. Not to mention all the reading and reading and more reading! I was truly disappointed with this game especially after GH just releasing several winners...

Wow! I must say I was highly disppointed in this game as I played it for a good 1/2 hour to 45 minutes just hoping it might get better = NOT. I just couldn't bring myself to finish it. By far one of the easiest HOG games I've ever played and BORING. Sometimes I like to play games more on the relaxing side but this game is ridiculous as it nearly put me to sleep. I didn't even have to use any hints and way too much dialog. In order to get through it, it's click, click, click... LOL! The puzzles were also the easiest I've ever come across. I thought this would be like some of the games I've played lately where you have to find objects to use in other scenes of the game. Thought it was going to be way more "thinky" and "challenging" UNLESS it comes LATER in this game. Like I said, couldn't bring myself to continue and highly surprised I stuck with it that long. Sorry Gamehouse but I didn't like this game AT ALL!

It is not difficult and the dialogue is annoying. It moves too slow. The puzzles are not difficult. I got bored with it after about 30 minutes.

Too easy. Too many clicks to move storyline along. Simple graphics. Storyline forced.

The dialogue and journal were overkill. I think the l-o-n-g verbal interaction amongst the characters was very overdone. It really took away from the continuity. Thankfully I could click over it. The minigames were not bad, a couple of them I didn't have a clue about like reflecting the light in the mirrors. I couldn't get the light to move past the first mirror. The hidden object part of the game was very good, nothing was hidden in darkness and I liked the idea of having to find the hidden hints.

I thought this was still a fun game even though I generally enjoy games that are much more interactive. The scenes were unique, the graphics were good, and while the mini-games were a little too easy (even the triangle game; I'm not sure why some people had trouble... the fingerprint matches were much more challenging than that one!) -- I still liked playing. It's a more laid-back H/O game, so it's good for those who don't like a lot of challenge. Also, you can skip through the dialogue; but I thought it was cute that they incorporated my name and "included" me in their (not-so-difficult) investigation. I would suggest doing the 60-min trial and deciding for yourself... it definitely wasn't as bad as I've been reading!

The main thing you should know about this game. It has Alot of dialog, so in a way its like reading a novella. The items can be hard to find, since sometimes what it actually is makes little sense. The mini-games are ok. The voice acting was for the most part good. Play this game if you have the funpass, otherwise pass it by.

well, this game was easy-i did have to use hints sometimes, but all in all the items were easy to find. the graphics were ok. the music scary. there was just too much reading. again, it's like reading the book, instead of playing a game. too, bad...

This was probably one of the easiest hidden object games I've ever played. The objects were in plain view most of the time. Lots of dialogue to click through also. The mini-games were extremely simple. This would be an excellent game for kids due to its simplicity. I wouldn't, however, recommend it for an experienced hidden object game player because there was no challenge.

The game has nice graphics and I like the story. But that's about it. HO & puzzles are easy. You have 5 max hints, and if you used them, each new scene will contain 1 hidden hint to collect. As other reviews stated, it has too much dialogue and feels more like reading a novel rather than playing a game. It's a straight HOG & puzzles, no task or running back/forth. Pretty short play time. It's kinda an average game that you can certainly live without.

This is definitely a game for those just starting HOGs. The HO's were easy, however, on a couple of occasions, the name did not match the actual item. On one occasion, when I was trying to find an object and used the hint, it circled a blank spot, whereas the item was actually on the other side of the room. The music needed more variety. It got really annoying after a few minutes. Character graphics were good. The mini-games were easy and relative to the game. HOWEVER, I never could get the "beam of light" past the first triangle. Nothing I did worked to get the beam to hit the other triangles. The storyline was good, and interesting. Lots of dialogue, but you can easily click to move it along faster if you need to. Overall, it's not a bad game. It needs to go back to the drawing board to fine tune the things that did not work, and to make sure that when you are looking for a "fly", it doesn't end up being a bow tie, etc, etc.

I agree there is too much dialogue with this game. But if you are looking for a good HO game that does not fry your brain, this is a good game. You get a limited number of hints (5) to start but if you can find a bottle in each scene you can get one more. The mini games are not that hard and are fun. I am considering buying this one because I want to see how it ends

Well friends where do I begin? This is a readers game. More chatty than I could handle and lots of people to meet and places to go. The graphics were very well done. Objects very easy to find. plenty of side games, puzzle, match games, dress the dolly and even a connect the dots. But all you really do is read and then read some more. Don't get me wrong, I love to read a good story, but this was a bit much for a game. kind of ""less talk more action"", if you know what I mean. I do not plan to play this one again any time soon. So there you have it, my thoughts and opinions on this one.

I did not like this game. This is the first game, that I disliked so much, I did not finish. The graphics are bad; the objects are poor likenesses of what they are suppose to be; The puzzles are so childish that it appears that the developers of this game were working on a kindergarden project. The text is dragged out for painfully long periods between scenes. The scenes were developed to be very dark so you have to waste a lot of time clicking around in areas of the screen that have been totally blacked out, which results in the cursor locking up, due to over clicking. I try to look at every game from a positive angle, and not to point out faults, as reflected in the majority of my game critiques. However; I could not find any positive aspecs of this game to comment on, other than it did not lock up my computer. I will pass on this game. Try it, you may like it!!!!!!!!

OK, so this isn't the most challenging HOG ever developed - but guess what? It's fun for starters, especially playing detective with the kids! There's lots of reading, but you can click past most of it. The HOs are pretty straight forward, but they are related to being a good gumshoe - look for fingerprints, footprints, etc. The puzzles are related to the case, and again, good to work with the kids = easy but fun! Hint: Be sure to collect one green lab flask per screen to refuel your hints. I would have given this a less "scary" theme - because it's not. It's a straightforward basic HOG, that can get quite involved and is real kid friendly. Try it - you might be pleasantly surprised - at least make up your own mind! TY, Gamehouse!
