i luv solataire-u never play the same game twice. this is a cool version considering the World Cup was just played-good timing, guys. the commentators were ok-sometimes they startled me by yelling, "goal!!!!!". that was a distraction that was lessend by decreasing the volumn on their voices. the music was absolutely PERFECT!!! definately music to play soccer to. the wild cards and the variety of things that helped or hurt u'r team was original. wonderful game. keep 'em coming...

If you like cards, don't let the soccer theme scare you! If you like cards & soccer, you'll love this game. It's a clever, well-designed alternative to the usual solitaire, with cheerful artwork/graphics. Offering a great variety of layouts, power-ups, obstacles, plus wild card spots, you have many ways to get goals to win matches. During play, there's a score/goal meter which fills as you make runs & pairs, etc. When it hits 3500, you're awarded a goal. Chains give a big multiplier & levels have no time limits. To add that lucky-or-not aspect of RL sports, occasional mystery cards offer little mini-games (non-intrusive, brief), e.g., gain a points bonus for a great pass, or worse, fumble & the other team scores. This all happens with cards, so you don't need to know anything about soccer. Yet, for soccer fans like myself, it's fantastic how the game's structure follows perfectly the real World Cup soccer match system. You can learn about this if you like, but it's not necessary. Music is real soundtracks & it's wonderful, should appeal to ages from 20's - late 50's+. It can be turned off, as can commentator's voice, which is realistic & helps build excitement as you play. When you try the demo *play it all the way through* because while it's an easy game to learn, it takes a bit to catch onto what you need to do to make good progress. The action ramps up somewhat as matches go forward, but it's never unfair & you can always skip ahead or replay a level. With so many features & unlimited re-playability, I run through a few levels of this lively, refreshing game most days!

I tried this for about 30 minutes and just couldn't figure out what the goal was. Matching cards, but to what end? I'm really not into soccer, so maybe that's the problem. I'm not going to be trying to continue with this one.

I got this game by redeeming my Gamehouse points and am glad i have it. I fond it to be an interesting game that seems easy but that is very deceptive. This is not one of those games where you win every time as i soon found out. The graphics are good and the game is quite interesting to play. One of the more interesting features is that you pick the Country you want to represent.
