This is a game for children of all ages who enjoy delightful graphics, an adorable story with endearing characters, match-3 games, hidden object mini games, and fun in restoring the farm. Tom is going to visit Grandpa Joe on his farm for the summer. The farm is a mess and Tom and Joe enlist the user's aid in restoring. Choices are beautiful. Characters (even the birds 'n bees, butterfly, dog, greedy mall developer) add to the fun of this game. Although I love GardenScapes, this one is even better. Hats off and thanks to the developers.

Good game for a cold rainy weekend. The graphics are fantastic. The game tends to get booring at times, but not enought to kill your enjoyment. Enjoy!

This game was lots of fun. Just like the other earn to re-furbish your new farn/garden. Lots of things to do and lots of interaction with the kid, grandpa and the neighbors coming to buy your crops. The more you sell the more you can buy to fix up your farm. Graphics were great, very nice. I enjoyed this one alot. What can I say, I am easily entertained. Its just plan old fun for all.

I really liked this game a lot! The graphics were excellent, the mini games w/ hidden object made it really involved and more fun. The game tended to drag a bit when the characters were talking, but overall an enjoyable match game!

This game is about a kid named Tom who is sent to Grandpa Joe's farm for the summer. You play to accumulate points to renovate everything. I love renovation games, and although this was under the category of Hidden Objects, it was 90% match 3. Okay, maybe a little disappointing in that regard, but I loved it. A little childish, but fun. And funny. Some of the character interaction prompts some very funny lines. Extremely kid friendly. Definitely similar to Gardenscapes. Now for the reason for only 4 stars. Between every match 3, HO, trophy room, there was constant loading. Way too much. If I didn't love playing the game so much, I think I would have stopped and deleted. I found it VERY annoying. Other than that, I loved it.

What a sweet and lovely game. Graphics are beautiful as always by Playrix. The gameplay is cute, engaging and endearing. This is a mix between a match 3, simulation/builder type game, adventure game and hidden object scenes. Similar to Gardenscapes, you are designing a farm - the difference here is that you are earning money through match 3 vegetable sales and advancing the storyline on the farm through adventure type play with just a touch of hidden object thrown in as well. So far, the match 3's have shown increasing difficulty fairly early on, which relieves me because I like a challenging match 3. Fishdom series, while beautiful, is much too sedate for me so I'm glad to see this one does not seem to follow the same suit. However, the game is available in timed (the only way for me!) or relaxed mode. Game is very high quality as is everything by this developer; no surprise there! The game does take a minute between scenes but it's obvious it's because of the quality of the graphics and animations. I didn't find it to be maddeningly long or even frustration producing - look away at the TV for a moment, when you look back, it's done. Great game, well worth the money.

I'm an "old cogger" [according to my children & grandchildren] who's in my late 50's. I enjoyed playing the original Farmscapes but this edition is far superior. The Match 3 is cute ... vegetables, honey, & more. The hidden object & puzzle mini games are challenging but not impossible to solve. We live in the country and have a small farm so designing the farm in this game has given me a few ideas of what I'd like to do with our farm! (Smile!) Our 14-year old son & 5-year old granddaughter who is spending the summer with us help me occasionally find objects and have commented "You're right ... this game is very addictive!" They both enjoy this game as well and so does my husband! Playing this game is a wonderful way to relax and escape the heat outside. If you like playing Gardenscapes, you'll love Farmscapes Platinum Edition! This game is fun & addictive for the entire family. Take it from an "old cogger" like me.

The "Scapes" games are so much fun to play with great graphics and a super storyline. Farmscape gives the opportunity to build 3 different farms. I played in timed mode and had a few problems but the game allows you to switch between timed and relaxed modes. Super game for all to play.

Ok, so it's clever the kid gets sent away when all he wanted to do is sit and play Fishdom all summer. Still, I'm having trouble figuring out what the kid's purpose is in this game. Frankly, I would have preferred one on one interaction between the farmer and myself as experienced in the superior Gardenscapes. Farmscapes is largely a match-3 title, but it tries to meld hidden-object and point-and-click adventure elements with only mediocre results. For instance, you need a key inside a birds nest on the roof of the house. To get it you'll need to complete a hidden object puzzle inside a tool shed, then use one of the tools to free a bird trapped in a mossy spring. The bird will fly off but you'll need to click on it again and it will return to the nest and drop the key for you to retrieve. Yes, this sounds odd and it is, especially considering there was a ladder leaning against the tool shed the entire time that any thinking person would have used in the first place. This illogical behavior frustrates me about adventure games in general and Farmscapes is no exception. The match-3 games are fun and have fantastic art and animation; much like the popular Fishdom series Playrix is known for. It's just too bad the combination of Fishdom and Gardenscapes is less fun to play. Here's hoping the next "scapes" title stays true to the original Gardenscapes formula.

It was fun. I'll enjoy designing a few more "Farmscapes."

I would have given this game a much higher review except for the very long transitions between every single game. If it had moved more smoothly between levels, I would have easily given it a 5 star rating. I enjoyed the story line, the graphics, and the challenges. It just seemed to me that play was constantly interrupted waiting for it to load the next level, even if it was only a short time. It was too disruptive for me to buy the game.

Lovely and colorful graphics, fine music. Good and funny storyline. You earn money to restore a farm, each upgrade has 3 choices. After finishing 1st farm, you can restore another 2. Good play time for 1 farm. May be good replay, though personally I'm not enthusiastic with it.

I really enjoy this game. It has match 3, hidden object and creating. The one drawback is the downloading. It takes several minutes for the game to start and then between each level the game has to load for each section. It is fun to figure out where all the tools are and if you get stuck there are hints that don't count against you.

I don't play a lot of match three games, but this one is a wonderful exception. You have some hidden object scenes and lots of easy match three's. But of course the fun is in designing the farm and interacting with the people and the animals. Playrix really outdid themselves here. There is something for everyone.

Another wonderful game from Playrix like Gardenscapes. Wonderful graphics, great interaction with the characters (after getting through the 1st farm remodel, and you get 3) the conversations between characters are a HOOT, plus you can direct their actions. Also, I love the fact that you have the choice of timed and relaxed games, a MUST for me if it's a match 3 game. For kids, a wonderful alternative to the growing fad of vampire games (as a former teacher, I feel these are not appropriated for this 15 yrs and under). This another MUST have game for me and my grandchildren!

I am a loyal player of Fishdom 2 Platinum Edition and I am playing level 945. I was excited to play Farmscapes Platinum Edition. It's a great match 3 game. However, there is a lot of hidden object puzzles. If I had known about the hidden object, I might not have purchased it.

I was hooked from the start. Original. I love the fact that they've mixed different game styles. Keeps you from getting bored with the match 3.

Just like Gardenscapes, this game is beautifully designed and brings smiles to your face. I love match 3 and this game provides hours of matching. The story line is such fun and the interactive design is great. Just hover your mouse over the farmer and boy's eyes or the boy's mouth while the game is loading to smile some more. This game is definitely a keeper!

Yet another winner from Playrix! I am not normally a fan of Match 3 games but this one is the exception. I loved Gardenscapes and thought I'd try my hand at this one. I was totally hooked after 15 minutes of gameplay! Graphics are exquisite as usual. The colors make this a feast for the eyes. There's a little bit of everything in this one - Match 3, Hidden Objects, problems to solve - something for everyone. Definitely Kid Friendly and one that the whole family can enjoy. I'm enjoying it so much that I bought it before I finished the farm. Let's have more of this from Playrix!!!

I don't usually like Match-3s, but I loved Gardenscapes so I wanted to try this one. Ironically, I liked the Match-3 part -- it was all the unnecessary dialogue between Match-3 scenes that annoyed me! And much of it, you can't skip through -- I just wanted to play the game, re-do the farm, and maybe interact a little w/ the characters, but instead many of the "interactions" took longer than the Match-3 scenes! If it wasn't for that, I would have given this 5 stars for sure.
