This sequel to Azkend has great graphics, good music, the storyline isn't bad. The voiceover is well done. Game play is amazing. This game requires fast reflexes and you really have to think ahead about each move. There are lots of power ups to collect, several kinds of boards - the bugs are really challenging. There are extra Challenges, a medal round where you replay levels to see how fast you can beat them and a Timed game where you just keep playing a single board to see how far you can get in the alloted time. The only thing that keeps this from 5 stars is the lack of an untimed option.

I played the trial of this game for about 15 minutes then called it quits. I love Match 3 games but not ones that have a timer as Azkend 2 does. I play computer games to relax at the end of a day, not to have even more stress added to my day by playing a game where you have to complete the level before the timer ends. For me, Azkend 2 is not worth wasting my money on. I have better uses for my money which includes spending it on our 14 grandchildren with another 2 on the way. For now, I'll stick with the computer games that we already own. I'll pass on Azkend 2.

really enjoyed this game. the music is beautiful. the game play is like the 1st Azkend in that it's a match 3 and finding details in scenes. but the story is intriguing, killing bugs on the board is different. the power ups are helpful-binoculars/glasses. it's a challenging game w/out being overwhelming. i got stuck on one of the levels, but w/ persistance was able to advance. there is a sense of mystery and excitement in this game. gr8 sequel, guys...

Have the first Azkend - played many times - thought that one was challenging. But this is way tougher. I am playing timed mode & refuse to give up. Keep working at a level until it is beaten. Graphics are great - I am not very good in finding the scenes in the circle. Hope to finish & then replay. Worth the effort!

The game is a real challenge in that you have to play in timed mode, which I like. If you're looking for a relaxing game, this isn't it. A lot of fun to play.

It doesn't take long (no pun intended) to realize that the time to complete a round is very short. Planning ahead and moving fast are basic requirements for this game. Even the music has that sense of urgency. Thank goodness the graphics are clear. My biggest problem was conquering the "bug" rounds. I want to go by Raid and shoot them - LOL. If you are a person who likes pressure to complete a game, this one is for you. No hints are given as to which active or passive power-up you should use (they just tell you to use another). So it really is a trial and error completion of a round. However, when you get the right ones - Yahoo! The winning ego takes over.

Tutorials are not enough to give details (HARD) This game is not relaxing, but very high paced and difficult to follow. Completely different from the original Azkend.. I did not like it at all.

The story looked great & graphics very nice & I wanted to play it so badly but the timer just cannot be beat! I don't understand why all of the timed games cannot have an untimed edition. Is it THAT more expensive for a developer?? I think they would make more money with the addition of untimed. I would love to play many "time management" games in my own time because they look really fun but too much stress. PLEASE DEVELOPERS - listen to us & give us an UNTIMED edition. One reviewer of this game said "in the timed mode" as if there were an untimed mode but I never could find one.

the image finders are much harder than in the original AZKEND. Good fun. Can play it many times and still have lots to do.

Ok, this game has great graphics/art. However the timed thing is not one of my strong suits. I play to have fun and enjoy what I am doing, not to be rush and timed by a clock buzzer. Being stressed is not what I would refer to being fun. I guess it reminds me of being back in school and having a pop quiz and 2 minutes to finish. I am far too old to be back at school at this point. Sorry this game gets a "0" in my book.

I was really enjoying this game, it was very challenging, much variety, however I noticed as the game progressed it becomes more difficult, as it should. But there is a point in some games, where the game becomes "Impossible" and that happens sooner then later. There are many powerups, and things that you can use to get by each level, but when your enemies strength are greater than your abilities, well, the game becomes virtually unplayable. Basically because we are at the mercy of a computer generated Match 3 levels, that give you no time, in the level I am speaking of, you have less then one minute to defeat the enemies, cannot be done. Too bad too, because this game was awesome until then.... at least that is one mans opinion.

This is a fun challenging game. Great graphics and good replay value.

I was pleasantly surprised. Original plot line, but that's pretty much incidental. I really enjoy the strategy behind the game: you can select one "power-up" from each of two groups, "passive" (which affects the setup of the board) and "active" (which determines which kind of special matchup will be included on the board). There are also several different kinds of puzzles. Standard (time-based), "bugs" which crawl up the board, hiding spaces as they go, and must be killed before reaching the top (it's creepy), "clear the board", and one based on flowers that I have yet to completely figure out. Smart game. I like it.

This is one tough game -- a lot more challenging than Azkend 1. It is also a lot more varied in game play with several new game board challenges. Be prepared to restart levels, but stay determined! The background artwork, which was stunning in the first Azkend, is even more beautiful and animated. This makes the seek sections that come at the end of each chapter more difficult as well. Wide screen, voice overs, catchy music scores, and a curious story all make for a very well orchestrated presentation. The secondary modes of play -- timed, and medals -- plus a myriad of achievements you must play all three modes to earn, make for many, many hours of satisfying play time.

I hadn't played the first Azkend game so thought to give this a try. Based on the demo, very nice graphics and the hexagonal style boards add challenge. There are interesting Hidden Object levels, bonuses and some fun levels where you have to destroy bugs before they reach the top of the board. The only thing that has put me off the game is the timer. I found myself replaying boards quite early and assumed the game would become even more challenging later. Had there been an option to play without a timer I would have purchased this game, but with the timer I had the sensation of rushing and not being able to enjoy the game.

Have really enjoyed playing this new game. It is easy to understand as each level explains what you are to do at the beginning. That said, it is still very challenging to accomplish the tasks in the time allotted. I have played it twice now and look forward to playing it many more times as it looks like each time will be a different challenge.

I guess at my age, this is simply beyond me!! But in a click 3 game whereby you have to make your move pretty fast against bugs or fire, it would greatly help if there actually was a "threesome" available to me, instead of the game spending half the time re-plotting your page because there were no moves left!! An inferior "follow up"!!

Fun game, love match 3! Not too difficult, but fun to play!

Just love this game! The story is amazingly exciting and the game play is fun. For me there was a couple of challenging puzzle-type levels later in the game, but it seems you can skip them if you don't care for them. Otherwise it's just pure gold! Recommend to everyone who wants a great match 3 game with an astonishing story.

I LOVE this game!! This CHAIN M3 game is challenging yet attainable. You may need to repeat timed levels a few times but that's what makes this game addictive. Beautiful animated screen shots with great musical scores along with crisp graphics makes this game a winner. There are MANY levels that you will need to complete to finish the game...HOURS of FUN!! Many challenges within each chapter...not all levels are timed BUT you will spend time putting out fires or killing invading bugs before they consume the board. There are "seek & find" games every 4 levels that are timed. As you journey thru the center of the earth you will gain power ups that will help you at each level. Great story line narrated by a woman with a pleasant voice. I guarantee you that you will NOT be bored with Azkend 2!!
