Three modes of play: Relaxed, Casual, and Expert. Modes can be changed during play. Even in Expert mode, you can finish the level when the timer runs out. You can click ahead 3 moves as in the first game. If you played the first 12 Labours of Hercules, you will notice a few changes in the gameplay. Each level has a puzzle piece to find and a puzzle to complete for each episode (10 levels), which will activate a bonus level. Hercules is out of the hammock! He is now standing! He still does the "tough" work. He's still lazy; after all, he IS a god! Resource buildings start only producing 1 item at a time. Resources on the ground and renewable resources are generally a lot fewer than previous game. The Storehouse is now a spot for workers to return to and will upgrade the amount of resources you can store; it will not increase the number of resources you collect as before. For me, these made the game seem a lot more clickier than before. Once again, there are the shoot-'em type mini games and in some of the levels. The shoot-'ems during the level aren't so bad; but those type of mini games drive me bonkers! New to this game, is the developers score. Try to beat it, if you can! This game is quite challenging in Expert mode. Add the "beat the devs score" challenge to it and it makes it a bit tougher. Great graphics and story.

Loved this one. It's fun & beautiful, even better than the 1st one (which I recommend, too).

Challenging, but not too hard. Puzzle pieces to play bonus levels are a challenge to find in some levels, but add to the game.

The only reason I didn't give this game 5 stars is because I can't stand those little thieves. If you haven't played yet, you'll see what I mean. Otherwise, this game is the same as the first - which I loved, so I'm ok with that. There's a nice little extra puzzle-piece finding element to this version, though I wish the pieces were a bit more creative-looking than just tiny little plaques with a letter H on it... Also, I have to say, the poem "story" had some really lame parts in it just so that it would rhyme. But none of that takes away from the gameplay. I love this kind of TM & this one did not disappoint!

This is a fun game, I like that you can change the level of difficulty during the game. The added bits with the puzzles are fun, but finding some of the puzzle pieces are a real challenge, some are just hidden too well.

I enjoyed playing this, you can choose the level of difficulty and can easily change the level. In some ways, it's a very simple game. Must say have gotten a bit frustrated trying to find the puzzle piece on some levels, some of them are hidden too good. The extra of working the puzzles are interesting, puzzles are not nearly as hard to work as it is to find the pieces.

I really enjoyed this game! I originally thought I will play it on bus on my way to work but could not stop with the tasks and played at home, as well :) I really like the story and also the animation is sooo cute! I liked the additional things like finding puzzle pieces and building wonders of the world. And Hercules is just hilarious! Highly recommended!

This 2nd game in the Labours of Hercules series is very similar to the first one. It allows the player to queue up to 3 future actions, with the danger that if you don't have enough resources to complete the action, you have essentially wasted that advanced queuing. A new feature is that if you con't collect your resources quickly enough from the farm, gold mine, or sawmill, some little critter approaches and takes it before you can get there. Pretty good, overall. I haven't finished yet, so haven't found anything truly new and interesting about the game. .

Bought the game because I liked the first one so much. This one is too easy. First time around I completed all the levels in gold time. Now what? Nothing more to do.
