How do you get across the river. I found the hole in the ground under the pile of rocks and have fished and opened the treasure box. Just can't figure out how to cross the other river. Is there an option for a bridge in this game as in the previous ones?

Is anyone else having problems with the game freezing up? I finished the Brockwood town and now I can't move anywhere at all in the main town. I can see everything happening but can not select a player or move. I will be SOOOO upset if I have to start all over!!!

Upgrade the lumber mill and then you can buy the bridge

i am sooo frustrated... i have reported an issue with westward 4 stalling after the "Great Train Race" for both characters... the 1st reply was telling me to uninstall and reinstall the game... did that... the same result happened for both characters... so I informed support again... this is their new reply::::::

I would like to inform you that you will need to visit the forum online and check it out.

For logging into the GameHouse support Forums, follow the below mentioned steps.

1. Login to your GameHouse account.
2. Click on the "My GameHouse' link.
3. Once in the page, click on the Support link right below 'Online Games"
4. On the next page click tab "Visit our Support forms for additional help"
5. The next page that loads will be the support forum for GH users

I hope you can understand my limitation in helping you regarding this issue. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

SERIOUSLY... CAN U DO BETTER THAN THAT??????... I THINK ITS RUDE TO TELL CUSTOMERS U CAN DO NO MORE...AT LEAST SANDLOT KNOWS OF THE ISSUES AND HAS ISSUED ANOTHER VERSION OF THE GAME....

my game is freezing up alot too....there is a version 1.003...the one gamehouse has is 1.002 i wonder if gamehouse has 1.003 yet....i dont know how to check if they do....i know the other sites i use has the new version but i have the fun pass and really dont want to spend the $7 to buy it from my other site......i guess ill have to uninstall it and then reinstall it from gamehouse again...wish me luck, lol

i just uninstalled and reinstalled....apparently gamehouse isnt in the know about the new version, they r still selling the 1.002 i am going to suggest they get the 1.003 so they can stop selling a game with glitches, it is hard for me to believe they dont know they r selling a broken game, i hope they care, lol well just a warning if u get it from here, u will be cursing alot, especially after u do the train race u'll see after u get there

bigfishgames corrected it as well, it seems every game site fixed it but this one...ho hum

to get your game to stop freezing go into options and change the resolution to a higher one that worked for me

for game freezing go to options and then change your resolutions. This stopped my game from freezing. Go to the highest number

My game gets stuck in the main town right before the great train race. If someone is unemployed I can press F3 or another F key and follow them around town. I have been in contact with customer support and said this and the first email they sent me said that they do not have westward 4 and that they don't have a release date. I explained that I bought the game from gamehouse and that the game is still on gamehouse. The second email said that I should post a comment on the forum because they didnt have the answer. I copied the forum of others saying that the game gets stuck and that sandlot games had a different version and that sandlot told me that version 1.0003 would correct the problem. The third email was to tell me to re download the game when gamehouse gets the 1.0003 version but they don't have any idea when that would be. I emailed the makers of the game and ask them to contact gamehouse hope that works.

None of the buildings show up they kind of like flash occasionally. How do I fix this?

I'm playing on the highest available resolution on one of the top rated gaming machines made for 'real' games - and I'm having freezing problems... which is what brought me here...

this game almost crashed my computer. I uninstalled and downloaded it 3 timed and it hung up and caused a fatal something on my computer. 3 different times and when I would restart the program after I had uninstalled it. it would go back to the same place . before it crashed and do it again. I think they should give us another verson if they have one out. I loved that game But I want buy another one I was about to stop game house all together, My daughter too. we never had this problem with real arcade.
