The greyhound rescue said the dogs will chase the cats as they are taught to chase furry animals to get them to run at the races. Jackjack is too fat to run and Maynard is too old the greyhound would catch them and I have no idea what it would do with them when it did catch them, We will just wait.

The other problem we have is I can't walk and everybody else works so we would have to pay a dog walker for the days that kimble is on shift

we will still rescue one though, they suffer so much and need so much love

Oh, yeah. I hadn't thought about the greyhounds being in the habit of chasing furry things.

Well, I hope this comes out sounding the way I intend it, which is supposed to be an amusing image your reference to having to pay a dog walker. I was thinking maybe you could train a greyhound to pull your chair around. You know, like how some dogs pull wagons. Wouldn't work much in the house unless you live in a mansion, but you could go out on a walk--dog could walk and you could ride along behind in your chair. Hold a rope that you could easily let go of in case the dog sees a rabbit and goes on a chase. But you'd certainly get the looks. Ya think?

Nobody's answered you yet, lm1hm2, and I don't want you to feel left out. We've kind of hashed this one out since the Amazon cards were first dropped. That was quite a few months back. Yah, it would be nice for GH to come up with options for us funpassers. GH keeps saying they're considering more things but I haven't seen anything yet. I just accumulate coins. Might be worth something some day. But if not, well, I was a funpasser before there were rewards so it could be worse. There could be a nuclear war or something. I don't know what I'm going to do with the $25 Amazon gift card I did get. Probably get kindle books. Well, hope you're enjoying the funpass games even if there aren't any good rewards to go along with them.

Hi granny, If it's a game that just quit or wouldn't start out of the blue, you should call customer service. The worst they can do is refuse, and who knows--they might replace it or give you a credit. Don't know the details. A few of the ones that ran on my XP won't run on Win 7. Me? My name is just fine for me, but I remember as a kid always wanting to have the name Linda, and when I started learning German in third grade, I chose Rosa.

BTW, I like Dylan Thomas. However, it bugs me that he didn't recite his poetry the way he punctuated it. He paused at the end of lines even if he didn't put a comma or a period there.

Thanks, esc0rtd3w. The directions tell me to just delete the files, far as I can tell. I decided to redownload the games and then try an uninstall again. One uninstalled just fine, and then I got started playing the next one, so I haven't seen if the re-install-uninstall will work across the board. Thanks for the info.

P.S. Granny, you can download Winutilities for free. It also has a registry cleaner, but I don't trust it as much as I trust Registry Mechanic.

Janelle, I set up a separate fb account for the Delicious game. You get two levels per week, at least so far that's what we've got. TWO!!!! Then you have the option to answer questions on how you like the episodic releases and how much you'd be willing to pay for them. They ask about subscription but don't seem to be thinking funpass (it's zylom and zylom has funpass) and also the prices they list are in euros, so they're targeting international customers, not U.S. customers, right now it appears. Anyway, except for the most hardcore Emily fans, I don't know if it's worth having that separate account for two levels a week, short levels too.

At first he was also gnawing on the bottom of his feet and after a couple days I put Fucidin (sodium fusidate) on his pads and he never gnawed his pads after that. I don't think Fucidin would have worked that quickly, so it could be he didn't like the taste and left his pads alone after that, but just thought I'd mention.

I figured being secure with always having food available when she wanted it was the best emotional therapy. Then she blew out both back knees from being overweight and having a genetic problem (one of many). Brought new meaning to the saying "Love someone to death". My vet put her on SD to lose weight. She has also chewed her feet constantly and her ears get red and swollen. I figured it was a food allergy and have switched her to the SD Sensitive Stomach. It costs about $73 per 30# bag. Would love a healthier suggestion as I am obviously trying to do right by her. She is 7 years old.

Hi kimberlie. You are absolutely trying to do right by your sweet golden! And I'm sure you're the best human mom she has ever had, and she loves you with her big heart and big brown eyes.

I'm not a food expert, but I know to look for meat as the main ingredient (and not meat-byproducts). Where I stay most of the time, we don't have many choices, but what my vet recommended for my skinny chihuahua who wouldn't eat was Pro Plan made by Purina. Purina, I thought?? He also sold SD but didn't recommend it and I had already learned about it. Anyway, my skinny dog ate the Pro Plan, regular morsels for adults, but not enthusiastically. But at least he ate it.

Then I discovered Pro Plan for sensitive skin. Its first ingredient is salmon. Comes in a pink/salmon colored accented bag. That is what I have had them on ever since. I don't know how much it helps with scratching because my dogs don't scratch much except for the skinny one who, like your golden, has a lot of problems.

So, I'm not saying Pro Plan is the way to go because where you live you might have more selections. But look at the ingredients. Meat should be first on the list. I also fry up a little steak for mine and put it in their dishes, just to get the appetite going, but it doesn't sound like your golden needs anything extra.

The Iambs/Eukanuba people do horrific animal testing so no matter what their food is like, I wouldn't buy it.
