And I've been accused by Russ as having "Multiple Personality Disorders " when Russ himself has come back under three different names now.

I am who I am always. I give respect and credit where its due, but your behavior Russ has not earned it in any way. If you would participate and be civilized in a regular conversation setting political antics and other weird behaviors outside , you would be an enjoyable person. You have often turned others against me on the RealArcade forums which caused people to not like me for a short time before your evil schemes were exposed. You also got banned from RealArcade's Lithium platform also for this same behavior as well.

Many good Gamehouse Games can be bought in the Retail environment in Jewel Case form for $9.99 per title. There was a Super Collapse Anniversary edition where it had Collapse 4 and some other collapse games.

Encore Software often acts as a distributor for many casual games in the store.

Bill, I don't know if your familiar with Gamehouse's retail distribution platforms, but many of Gamehouse's Games I've bought in the store have been distributed by Encore.

Free means legal, without in game ads, and the game must be able to easily opt out of special offers bundled with the software and cannot open browser pages at the end of the games.

Essentially all games have debug codes cheat codes, but these codes are removed from the retail game. Very rarely will a developer leave their easter eggs in the game. These codes were designed for the developers use only to invoke certain features to test a game that ensures it operates correctly.

While I cannot pinpoint the *EXACT* cause of this, I can say that a recent Windows Update that Microsoft rolled out via Windows Update has caused strange page rendering of GameHouse.com through Internet Explorer. While they periodically release updates to ensure that every page displays correctly as it should in other browsers sometimes a glitch happens in that update. In any situation you do not see anything right, look at the URL bar of Internet Explorer and find a Broken Page icon. Click it, and the browser should render in a mode that is more compatible on your computer and the glitch should go away.

I highly doubt those outsourced call representitives at Microsoft came to the right conclusion as this is the case with any tech support center which is outsourced to many other countries.

Second of all if you got a stop error in a game while playing it , IT IS NOT A VIRUS. It usually means the game tried to perform a function incorrectly in which your graphics card did not handle the request and that is the normal behavior of Direct X.

GameHouse has a very old build of this game and does not have the very latest updated version which solves this issue. The issue is that when you move the mouse around the game seems to pause until you stop the mouse pointer. I downloaded a build from MumboJumbo to test and the problem was not there. Thankfully I sent an email to support@mumbojumbo.com and provided them with order verification from GameHouse and they helped me update to a more recent version which does not cause the issue.

And are you sure you have all the latest updates from Windows Update? Sometimes an older version of Direct X is not sufficient enough for your computer which is why some games do not launch. On Windows XP, you can download from the following link to update your Direct X: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35

Lets say you buy a game for $9.99

Gamehouse runs an authorization for $9.99 to reserve funds in your bank but this gets reversed right away when the other charge is run through. So if you pay for Funpass, you better have at least $50 in the bank to make sure the charge goes through. This only happens on debit cards not credit cards.

On Mon Oct 10 09:28:08 PDT 2011, x2wolverine said:

GameHouse accepts MasterCard and Visa Debit Cards, as long as you provide the 3 digit CID on the back of your card at checkout. Gamehouse will attempt to run your card for $1.00 to check that it's a valid card this is not an actual charge its just an authorization verification.

I did end up replacing my computer and I got a Gateway Netbook for $199 at Best Buy which has 1GB DDR3 Ram , 250 GB Hard Drive, 8 hour battery, and an Intel X3150. Ive been laying in bed playing some of the Gamehouse Games I have purchased over the years. It's keeping my spirits up. Now that payday is around the corner I will be well enough to go walk to the bank and then back again. I just wish this heat would go away. We had it so nice for awhile and then all of a sudden Mother Nature decides to play weather tricks on our city again. I think I'll go back to my Zuma's Revenge Game and play it through the end.

I strongly reccomend against it, I suggest looking at your order history at http://account.real.com, take note of it, and forward it to the developer and they just might be able to help you out on their site and give you a code for a recent version of it. I know Mumbo Jumbo is wonderful for this and their customers

So I'm not sure what's going on there but there's clearly still some kind of issue. I get this on both my laptop and my pc, and my mother has recently started to get the same thing on her pc when she tries to launch games, so it isn't limited to settings on my computer/browser.

Even though you do not use Internet Explorer, Gamehouse renders their HTML and game asset artwork in Internet Explorer so if you have an older version of Internet Explorer on your machine, this may be causing an issue. On Vista and Windows 7, it might be a good idea to downgrade to IE8 until Microsoft can fix many compatibility bugs 9 presents.

Your monitor driver or graphics driver is incorrectly reporting the available refresh rates its capable of , and as a result many games are trying to take advantage of this , locking the refresh at 60 helps.

Trying not to go off the topic here, but ever since the integration of Facebook and rewards built into the site, I can't help but notice the increase of these things too! Perhaps Gamehouse is not taking its customer feedback very seriously and has decided on a whole new approach on how to attract all kinds of audiences.

I downloaded two trial games this evening, and they all had advertisments in them. Some ads would not come up and would just display a white square / rectangle for 30 seconds.

It turns out Kaspersky and a few other antivirus programs with privacy protection built into them is doing the right thing and protecting its users from exploits and other flaws associated with advertising and the servers they are on.
