Maybe I'm completely wrong, but it would seem that Platinum is like CE on another site. And they NEVER come out together. But GH has released Premium and SE editions together here, and it begs the question (maybe someone from GH will answer it) of whether the Premium games are either GameHouse developed, like Mortimer, or GameHouse produced, and the Platinums may be produced by someone else? With different rules? GH, of course, can do with their own games as they please, but might not have that right with someone else's.

GH is doing their best to be competitive, I think, and are beginning to nose out the competition, IMHO. I'm not crazy about the ads here, but other than that, they are on the right track!

Well, it's tempting... Yep, I have all the Mortimers, as well. But I suppose all of them in one package from one place (face it, anything from the old RA days might disappear any minute) would be nice. And the price isn't that bad when you consider the extra coins you get. After some of the junk that has come out at another portal as CEs lately, this one is probably a breath of fresh air. At least, I'm hoping, LOL.

Great adventure game, but is anyone else having problems with the graphics? My characters appear solid black with only patches of image showing. Kind of like ninjas, LOL. And the dog is wireframe.

I finally got around to finishing Marooned 1, then immediately got Marooned 2 and played it through. What a shocking ending!!!! So now that we are hanging on that cliff, when can we expect the next installment? (Maybe I should have waited for all three to be out at once...)

Oh, please, say it ain't so. Well, I guess I can leave the game open until I finish it - if I can just get it to run. I played the beta version without a problem, but the full version at BFG will not run, and iWin's version won't run, either. Access violations. I was soooooo hoping that it would be okay here.

Other games that wouldn't run at the other two would run here, so.... here's keeping my fingers crossed.

I would never call any pooch Bertha or Seymour. I shudder to think of a Rottweiler called Poopsie. A chihuahua with the moniker Goliath??? How about Spike, the toy poodle. How about a 6th, has anyone ever named their dog Kitty?

By the way Ydoi's restaurant list is outstanding!! And there is a genuine Pondscum Pub and we all know where it is.

I actually had a Rottweiler named Poogie. It was the puppyhood moniker, and it stuck. She was still Poogie 13 years later when she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and a smarter, sweeter dog there never was nor will be again. I also have a mutt named Poopsie, LOL. She was mom's dog, and I inherited her when Mom passed.

Never had a dog named Kitty, but I did have a cat named "Puppy" because she followed me everywhere.

Hate to tell you, but BFG is having a lot of technical issues right now, too. They will try to address the problem a little better, but the problems with the games are still there. I think they are rushing too many games to get the one a day, and not testing them enough.

But yeah, you are right, this game is riddled with problems. IMHO, not worth worrying about though. Not much fun at all.

Big Fish is absolutely the best game portal out there. I joined over here when MB Time Paradox came out, and decided to give it a whirl. It's better than iWin, but not as good as BFG for customer service.

Paul Thelen (known on the forums as Picman), the head of BFG, comes often to the forum and chats with us. He is a warm and funny man, and we do appreciate how he tries to keep us all up to date with the progress of BFG produced games. He also posts some wicked teasers as riddles, LOL.

I've been fairly satisfied with GH for the games I can't get at BFG, but it seems that since the merger with RA, they have taken on all of RAs negative attributes. Just not happy with this current situation at all.

And yes, MCF Dire Grove is AWESOME!!! Definitely worth every penny!

Well, where is it????

I may cancel my membership over this. They could at least update us as to an expected date, since they are the "world premier" site.

Yuck. Demo'd for 6 minutes, and the best part was the opening cut scene. Liked the soundtrack, but not much else. The cursor is awkward at best, and the powerups hard to use. This reminds me of Squelchies, but not as fun.
