if you mean the columns containing hieroglyphocs, there are 2 sets of clues. one is from Cleopatra (in Cairo) - just click on her. the other is on the wall in another section, behind the monk - you need to click on the design, and it will save to the clues book. you will have to give the monk what he wants beofre he will move.
