Regarding the games, they were not removed from your computer. If you click on the start menu and go to RealArcade , they are still there.

The terms of the merger between GHouse and RArcade are unknown. Nevertheless, two corporations cannot merge and fail to honor the creditors of either. Similarly, if you have paid for games with Real Arcade, there is a legal questions of whether they can just take them away from you without compensation, such as refund or credit on the new site. Consumer complaints can usually be found online. In some states, you can fill out the forms online. TO DO THIS. Google "(Name of your state) Attorney General", then follow the prompts to their consumer division. IF you need to identity the companies, name BOTH Real Arcade and Game House.

I have 'chatted' with live support on three different days and a lot of help that was. One said I was outside the US region and couldn't migrate; other two just said that their IT dept knew about the situation and I would receive an email when sorted ~ still waiting. I have tried again (21st) same problem. Why wasn't real arcade kept accessible if there was a problem. I am not able to access any of my real arcade games as I keep getting directed to the gamehouse website and asked to combine. I just want some straight answers to when this will get sorted. I can't see why it should be taking a week to sort.
Please can you put a smile back on my face?

simplesally wrote: i am FURIOUS regarding this realarcade/gamehouse situation. all of the games i purchased are from realarcade. i now find that 9 out of my 22 games are no longer available. i have them already downloaded, but because of the way realarcade offers its games, you DO NOT download the install file. this means you have no control over reinstalling a game if you happen to buy a new computer or reinstall your OS. it must be done from their website. sure, you could go into the "mygames" folder on your computer and copy the individual game folders, but the game is not likely to work if you copy that game folder to a new computer. it would be the equivalent of going into "program files" and copying, for example, the "microsoft office" folder and trying to paste that onto another computer. i'm understandably OUTRAGED as the next time i reinstall my OS--which i do every few months--i won't be able to install these games, games that I OWN!!!

I recently installed a game, really disliked it (very unusual), then uninstalled it. When I went to play another games, it was gone, they were ALL gone. Every single game I hhe program ran another program called CleanSweep. And it swept clean every single game I had downloaded to C:/Gamehouse. Games I had downloaded prior to the installer forcing dowloads to go to C:/Gamehouse were intact.

hi, have you complained to gamehouse? if not you should. i too have found something else in my case trying to install when i was downloading a game. i hope that they (Gamehouse that is) can send you the links so that you can download them again (admittedly again).

All of the games I paid for and have playing a long time with realarcade. I would like to know will I get my money back or credits back for these purchased games? It is not my fault that these games are no longer availible. I purchased them in good faith as they were now mine to play whenever I wanted to. Now i can not play or redownload them anymore since they did not cross over to gamehouse, This is NOT my fault either give me my credits back or refund my purchases.

I paid good money for my games, and dont feel i should have to pay for them again. Not only that, accourding to you site, several of my games are no longer available. I was in the process of reinstalling my games on my new computer, and having difficulties with a few. Now according to your site, i cant get them at all, so you tell me what the solution is. I want my games, and i dont want to have to go thru all this bs to get to them. I did not have to go to all this bs before.

This is very frustrating!!!!! Also I just read a response from someone else stating that if you click on "See My Real Arcade Game" that you should be able to play them there...well the games that I am currently not able to play have been purchased from Gamehouse and are not on my realarcade game list.

Why is this so if the two game sites have merged? I knew the cost was going up to 20.00 plus change for Gamehouse but I thought it was the original cost of 10.00 from Real Arcade and then an additional 10.00 for Gamehouse. Instead I'm being charged almost 30.00, no, over 30.00 for memberships with both. Has anyone else noticed this? Have you any answers?

tubergal wrote: I too am disappointed in this merger. I have lost 20+ games due to them not being supported in either RA or GH. I agree that we have been given the shaft as to always "owning" the game. I contacted the chat support and all they told me was that I would NOT be able to get these 20+ games back and that there was nothing that could be done...I was not even offered the option of getting credits for the games no longer available for downloading. It is not so much the loss of the games, it is more about the promise from RA that we would own the games. I guess it all comes down to total disappointment with this whole issue. Maybe that class action law suite would be a good idea.

I was, however, when I saw the change splash becasue it says that you can countinue to use your realarcade software - that was a good thing for me because I stayed with the realarcade client when THEY changed to web based games - I do not like it and it is not true that I can keep my software because realarcade would still download new games on the client but now it will not. I am not happy with this at all. I do not want all those stupid icons on my desktop which is why I kept the real arcade client........you people really know how to lose customers but you really need some lessons in keeping customers!

So, I really think about cancelling my account, for I do not like this kind of customer relationship and I view it critically that people are left to help each other.
Even so I really enjoyed those little games, I probably will survive without getting new ones - or at least new ones from any company in association with GameHouse/Real Arcade. I have not decided what to do, yet, I will follow this thread for a little while longer and than decide.

I hope, I expressed my feelings in "appropriate" words and no, I really do not expect a sensible answer. But I think at least I can expect to get one or two laughs because of my English.

Thank you for listening me!
