Sutto, gamehouse develop games by itself and also release games that are developed by different game developers[Mumbo jumbo, pizelstorm, popcap, fugazo & so on]. So if the developer is Mumbo Jumbo the save file will bear their name. Check in the Program Data folder for mumbo jumbo. -Jenni

These games are not being properly tested before being offered on the web site. I really have to re-think my membership here.
Hey grbflrtz,
Problem must be with outdated video card, try updating it. Trust me, this could fix all hell lot of problem with the games.
Hey your problem is with downloading a game [or] playing a game, coz its not clear . Reset of browser should go fine with download issues. For latter one, run the game in different compability modes.
Hi candle, the problem is related to admin privileges, even I used to face issues with permissions even though you are the administrator of your MAC.
try this to change the permissions
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and click Accounts.
Open Account Preferences
If some settings are dimmed, click the lock icon and type an administrator name and password.
Select the user account that you want to make an administrator.
Click Password and select "Allow user to administer this computer."
1] Open the Start menu.
2] Right click on Computer and click Properties.
3] Click on Advanced system settings.(in upper left green area)
4] Click on the Continue button in the UAC prompt.
5] Click on the Settings button under Performance section.
6] Click on the Data Execution Prevention tab.
7] Turn DEP On for All Programs and Services Except for the Ones you Select -
8] Dot Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
9) Click Add to add the programs that you do not want to use the DEP feature.
10) Navigate to the program's .exe file that you want to add to the DEP exclusion list and select it, then click on Open.
11] Click on OK to apply, Restart the computer to apply changes.
madsmom wrote: I downloaded twice and the game will come up but when it tries to open the ad (yes, I am cheap and am willing to suffer through the ads for a free game), I get a white screen pop up, no ad. The white screen goes away, I get a totally black screen and music. When I bring up TM, I see that the session is at 100% CPU usage. I have to use TM to stop the process. Help!
Hey, the problem lies with screen resolution, try changing the screen resolution of your monitorand then check whether the games work.
Hi, just try uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy of the game, this happen if the game files gets corrupted.
Uninstalling and removing associated files in MAC: To uninstall goto to your users -> Libraries ->
> preferences > look for the file similar to game name [abundante.plist], just remove it and reinstall the game again. It may work without creating any issues
Hey there is no issues with the game, you can remove and reinstall the game and then give a try.
Also you can check in gamezebo website for the walkthroughs

If I uninstall and reinstall and try to register it the page to do it does not come up.
To get my game back, I have to run my brand new computer back through system restore.
This problem might have always existed. I don't know. I never played it long enough.
Someone suggested changing the data execution fiile. I tried that it did not work.
It seems to me that the problem lies in the flash player, showckwave player, ads, or there is something else in the background.
Hey can you try uninstalling and reinstaling the abobe flash player?

Whizzz wrote: I have been having issues with games crashing for about 2 weeks now. You will be playing and then it just goes away to a black screen and then it says the (name of game) has encountered a problem and needs to close , and to send an error report to microsoft. Maybe it's time to just give up on Gamehouse as it is now., Have been playing games on Gamehouse since 07 and never had a problem until recently
I play relaxed mode and i think it's a problem related to the ads timing somehow. It has just recently started happening so i don't play often now. It does not happen on purchased games just the free unlimited downloads, not on the 60 minute trial games which is why i think it's ad timing related. The game Art Stories and Big Kahuna Reef 2 are two that it's happening on most often.
Hey can you try uninstalling and reinstaling the abobe flash player?

Hi,
Have you tried playing the game in a different modes. if not try it helps
To run a game in different compatibility modes, you need to rightclick on the game.exe file
Select Properties -> Go to the Compatibility tab.->Select the checkbox "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" -> From the drop-down list, select Windows XP. -> Click Apply ->Click OK.
If you have purchased the game from them, just redownload the game once, register it and play. You can access the downloaded game via start - > all programs -> Gamehjouse -> name of the game you want to play
Hey its quite simple, the game progress is saved under sandlot games in your old one. You need to copy and paste that folder to the new computer. The lkocation of the saved file will be [My Os is Windows Xp]
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\sandlot games
Copy paste the sandlot games folder to the same location in your new computer

Redownloading the updated version isn't an option for me. What can I do?
Hi,
I think gamehouse has nothing much of help here. You try to replace the cd's. U can also try playing the game in different compatibility modes and screen resolution.

dredhead wrote: Thanks Jason O, but those are the solutions I got from the support team when I chatted with them. None of those things have worked.
Plus, the game starts up fine, and if i go back to replay any of the other levels, I'm totally fine. The problem is literally with this particular spot in the game.
If there is an important sound component with that particular game part, that may be a part of my problem, but it hasn't stopped any of my other games from playing, and all of the other games in that 4 pack play just fine...
This sucks! I really wanted to finish that game!
hidredhead,
Have you tried updating the sound card, because most problem would be fixed by updating the sound card.
mstogs43 wrote: I could download the free game (Jade Rousseau) but after a few scenes, it locks up. I don't know if it's the commercials or what. The commercials are not showing on my screen so I don't know if they are playing in the background. I have to log off to get out of the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but the same problem persists.
