Problem must be with outdated video card, try updating it. Trust me, this could fix all hell lot of problem with the games.

Hey, the problem lies with screen resolution, try changing the screen resolution of your monitorand then check whether the games work.

I play relaxed mode and i think it's a problem related to the ads timing somehow. It has just recently started happening so i don't play often now. It does not happen on purchased games just the free unlimited downloads, not on the 60 minute trial games which is why i think it's ad timing related. The game Art Stories and Big Kahuna Reef 2 are two that it's happening on most often.

I also had the problem and found that the problem with my internet connection and cookies which were corrupted. reset the cookies and check internet connection

I think gamehouse has nothing much of help here. You try to replace the cd's. U can also try playing the game in different compatibility modes and screen resolution.

Have you tried updating the sound card, because most problem would be fixed by updating the sound card.
