I reported the problem via chat help. They said they are aware of this problem. I asked that they put a response in Forum so we would know it is corrected. I haven't had good luck with their notification of resolution. Maybe this will be the one that they do respond.

Thank you JillTM. Turning off the custom cursor worked.

Is anyone else having problems with controlling the "floating" cursor? I have only played 2 rounds, and can't see playing this game any more if this is an intended design.

The cage isn't in the wagon. It is hanging off the bottom of the island. Use the arrows on the bottom right of your screen to turn the island around and you will see it. I did the same thing, not realizing the hint meant "under" the island not in the wagon. Good luck

I am a FunPass member running windows Vista SP2, Google Chrome and the game closes on its own. This happened in the very first mall. All other GH games run fine. I have about 6 downloaded at this time.

I have the same problem with the game not saving. I am a FunPass member, running Windows Vista, SP2, 32 bit and using IE.

The developer reports that they have reproduced the issue of the game not saving properly when played on a PC running Windows 7 64-bit. They are sending us a new build of the game; reportedly it will address the issue that some of you are experiencing.

I'll have more information about the new build, and how to obtain it, as soon as it's available. I'm hoping for later this week but as of now I don't have a firm date for it.

Thank you for your continued patience.

Cheers,
Bill

This is my 2 cents worth as a FunPass member. Current FunPass members should have been grandfathered to receive the platinum editions free. All new FunPass members would be advised those games are not included. It is not a platinum versus premium game count. It is that we believed all games were included in the monthly price. GameHouse's marketing strategy failed miserably. You, GameHouse, chose the "contractual" agreement. Accept responsibility and fix it. Customers do not like to feel they were had.

Premium Edition was available with FunPass. So you change the wording to Platinum? So nice of you not to tell the FunPass customer until after it is downloaded - that is soooo wrong. First time I have been disappointed with a GameHouse change because it seems contrived.

I went to www.gamezebo.com/games/nightfall-mysteries-asylum-conspiracy/walkthrough. Their walkthrough will tell you how to proceed. I used it a couple of times when I was stuck. Good luck!

Is anyone else having difficulty with Area 6? It runs in slow motion. I am experiencing it in Battles 5 and 6 so far, and can't play any additonal levels as it continues. It is really slow (like watching paint dry). I have already uninstalled and reinstalled and no change.

I spoke to Technical Support today. He said they are working on a patch to fix the freezing problem on Level 49. He told me to check back periodically in this game's forum and when it is repaired they will update the forum.
I followed Shannone's advice and by putting the "fur" guys on the top floor, the game did not freeze at that level.

The code is 3, 4, 9 in that order. You didn't mention if you picked up the talcum powder on the floor outside the door. You have to put it in inventory and then use it on those numbers so the fingerprints show. Hope this works for you.

You have to find the ghosts(s) in each room. Click on the gold circle on the bottom right of the screen and it will change your cursor into a magnifying glass. Then move it around the screen until the ghost appears. You must click on the ghost and find it 3 times in each scene. When you do the screen will tell you that the room is cleared and the hint balloon refilled. Then click on the Log button and go to the riddle. Once you complete reading the riddle go to the room inside a room to follow what the riddle said to do. I don't remember the first one exactly, but it did tell you to throw the salt and iron over. So just pick up the salt and iron dishes(black and white ones) and throw them over. Hope this helps.

Pick up the brush on the front fender/hood and rub it over the windshield. The print will appear.

I finished your game, and almost didn't. The music while beautiful makes the game seem to go soooo slowly. The placement of the objects was a clever touch, but again everything seemed to be going in slow motion. Clicking just anywhere to place them, didn't make sense and since the items didn't really have a rightful place (watch on the floor), it was painful waiting for the correct item to light up. I am not sure why you had 3 pictures on each page of the story, yet only clicked on 2 of them?? Maybe I didn't count them correctly. Your story will be loved by the "heart" audience and not by the "thinkers". It was nice to see a heart story for a change without drama, thunder, etc. The story definitely needed more rooms to select items and to decorate them using the 2010 technology. Don't give up - this is a great start! Thank you

Click on the open grave and then use your flashlight tool in the grave. You will find a key and the victim's wallet.

I called Gamehouse Support and they are aware of the problem with games shutting down automatically. It has something to do with FunPass, and not the demo mode. The "Second Level" I talked to said they hope to be able to fix the problem within a week. Hang in there!

I had the same problem. Gamehouse is aware of this Runtime error problem and working to correct it. They told me to :Open computer and Click on C drive .
2. Double click on "Gamehouse games" folder.
3. Open the game folder " Department 42 - The Mystery of the Nine".
4. Now you can see the the Game icon named as "Causal"
5. Select it and right click on it, then click on "Run as admin".
This worked for me. Hope it does for you too.
