I had tried to play Turtle Odyssey 1 just like many others have.
It is hard to defeat the devil fish to move on to the next level.
It needs a trainer so you can unlock some levels.
Some sites no longer sell it because there is a technical error in it.

I just finished turtle Odyssey 2 tonight, Now I have to decide on something new. Maybe a card game.

How many realize that amazon is a game competitor? They also sell games, they took over for a company that they bought out a few years ago.

Hi granny, If it's a game that just quit or wouldn't start out of the blue, you should call customer service. The worst they can do is refuse, and who knows--they might replace it or give you a credit. Don't know the details. A few of the ones that ran on my XP won't run on Win 7. But I don't blame GH for that because the games weren't designed for Win7. Anyway, let us know what you do, OK

I may email support and enclose a picture because there is no way to go past this one level.
Many have downloaded a trainer that is suppose to unlock the levels.
I have windows 7 and can't download it.
I would like to see this game discontinued before other discover what me and others have learned by playing it.

Even though I'm a FunPass member I guess I'll start using all these coins to purchase favorite games before I go elsewhere where the games actually function property

It is the job of the developer to put out a game that works.
Sometimes they aren't aware of problems until after the game comes out, then they try to come out with updates.
Not all sites will get these updates, Gamehouse at least tries to update their games when updates come out.

I know of one other site that doesn't update their games even though the update is available.

You want to shout out about Big Fish Games being so wonderful because they keep their games forever, that isn't true and I have been saying that they don't for a long time.
Take your head out of the clouds and come back down for earth. and call customer support.

That was sI learned that it was a fake and called my bank to alert them to this company and the fraud.
I am now awaiting my new bank card.
Part of why I like my computer is I can check on my account and see what is going on.
I don't have to wait until I get it in the mail.

listjohn, if it is an autopay, did your account get billed , for a one time charge.
We signed up for somesthing one time and got billed for two years. That was when I would have to get a new bank card. I was fit to be tied. Our bank helped us to get the money back.
I would call the bank and ask. They have a record of it and phone numbers.

yusef, to answer your question

There are some higher speeds than this one, 17.96 pbps We could go 30 mbps but that would cost more
money. How fast is yours. Normally downloads take just a few minutes, which is why I stopped this one after 15 minutes. It probably would have taken an hour or more. I have never downloaded a large file game
Had I had known this one was so large, I would not have downloaded it.

Wheal, I waited for it too download. Probably 10 to 15 minutes. I have high speed internet service so it would not have taken it very long even being a large file game.
It told me that it was downloading 2 of 2 files.
When I clicked the download off, it asked if I wanted to cancel it so
it was probably still downloading.
I didn't know it was a large file game. I might have given it more time.

You can check the game files for the individual game: computer, gamehouse: individual games.
gamehouse games download separate from the files in the program files.

I would also run my disc cleanup to remove all traces.

If you are still sure that the game is gone, you can download an unstaller program that will remove the game if it is still there.

Hi. If you ever experience the frustration of not being able to sign in to real arcade and not being able to you might understand my frustration.
I could not download one game from real arcade or gamehouse. I kept getting an error message telling me that my computer was missing some files necessary to download a game.

This was frustrating, gamehouse or real arcade had no idea what was wrong.

After some time our computer broke down and had to go to the computer shop. This can be costly when you are on a fixed income.

Now you are telling others to go into their windows files to system 32 to drivers to etc. This file (etc) does not exist on windows 7, home premium.

Ever since my computer went out, I have tried to learn all that I can about things that cause users not to be able to download and play their games.

I typed in Host files into my browser and it took me a site that told me that if I have windows 7 or vista, Hosts files cannot be changed. On the website was a link to microsoft support and in big letter it states that it cannot be done.

Please bear in mind that everyone is not as willing as you to change their computer files.
Some believe that gamehouse should fix this error it they can.
If there is another solution that might fix the error message that computers users have a right to know that also.
Some have followed what you were saying and haves gotten their games to play others haven't.
Gamehouse has also posted that they are still working on this issue.

Maybe when the site is down on the 7th they will fix this error or have a better of what is causing it.

Not everyone knows enough about computer to find all of the files mentioned and if they do things wrong it might mess things up more.

I have windows 7 home premium, 32 bit. When I click on drivers and it opens there is no etc file.

I then typed hosts files into my browser to learn more about host files.

I learned that what has been suggested will not work on windows 7 and vista. You have to follow special instructions.

It would be a whole lot easier to go windows support and download the software that they have there that will fix this.

Now if it on Gamehouse's end are they passing this error message onto their users without meaning too.
Not everyone is getting this error, so where is the problem.
Is it gamehouse's and their host files?

There has been a lot of users having this problem here at gamehouse.
There are also a lot of people having this error problem who download from other places.

These errors occur, when the registy becomes full of errors because of downloads that take files that are needed off of your computer.

I learned the hard way that computers cannot download game or other software when needed files are missing.

There are lots of people having download errors, who have turned to software that you can download that will fix these errors and your computer will be up and running.

To find the software that will help fix these error message you can do a search. type in error 1000 into your address bar. One of the sites that might help is one at windows support.

I hope that this fix will help most of you.

Good afternoon.

I have one game that I really love but my brand new computer will not let me play it.
It isn't my computer, it is the antivirus shutting it down.
Why that happens, I haven't figured out. Some of the new machines are a lot better at finding a potential virus or an ad within the game and shut it down.
I can play the game if I buy it elsewhere.
Some games can have things running in the back ground that an antivirus program would pick up on and shut the game down.
You can try taking your antivirus off, for a few minutes to see if the game works.
You can also try downloading the game from another site and try the game.
I like to play Luxor 2, if I play it from gamehouse it will work if I try it from another well know site it will not work. I get a warning from my firewall and antivirus.

The problem lies in not being able to mention the site that you are talking about.

If a person tries to make a post there, sometimes they are not able to.
The posting there has been down to almost nothing.

Someone discovered why a person could not post.
There is also a double standard here, the site is mentioned right one the main page but can the site be mentioned here no one knows.

If gamehouse had a pm system we could pm a person.

What is it?
It wasn't hard to learn more about it by doing a search.
You can also learn more about the causes of thse errors by also doing a search.
I simply put open candy into my browser and pulled up all kinds of information.
I also put internet error code 1000 into my browser and pulled up all kinds of information.
How is this software getting attached by installing a game.
Do users give it permission when yes is clicked instead of no?
I have noticed that a lot of different downloads now ask you do you want to try this or that over and over before the download starts.
Open candy doesn't have to come from gamehouse it can come from anywhere, as I found out.
I also learned that I would not open any files if I didn't know a lot more about what I was doing.
to download a game here no one should have to change settings that are set by microsoft when the computer was put together.

Some of the newer antivirus software will keep you from playing games, They will not download.

Good evening.

I read back through this thread and noticed a few things that most of the posters here have in common.
Some have more than one antivirus or firewall.
This will confuse your computer and it will not work right.
Some of you also have avg. This antivirus will not work well with gamehouse.
I tried it but could not get my games to work on my brand new computer.
I tried some others and no luck, I had to take them all of and restart my computer each time.

Do some of you have lava adware on your computers?
This was recommended a few years ago.
I had to also take this program off.

After a lot of trail and error, I settled on microsoft security essentials. I haven't had any problems.

You are absolutely right you should not have to rename this file and that one.

I discovered sometime ago, that gamehouse will not work well with some antivirus programs.
