Mortimer Beckett and the Lost King - can't complete game

I've played it twice since then, and now, in the very first module, I completed the jewel piece, completed all the sections in the village, and when I try to cross the river to Dwarf City, Mortimer says I have to complete all the tasks in the village. I rechecked each section - the town square, the church, the tavern, the prison - all marked "Completed". Can't get across the river. Now I have to restart the game. Takes all the fun out of it! - Westel

Can't finish villages in Mortimer Beckett and the Lost King
	On Wed Feb 17 05:35:12 PST 2010, Westel said: I have played the game several times - generally a great game, but twice now I have run into issues. The first time, in the final village, I exited the castle after collecting the black feather. when I tried to get back in to wave the feather in front of the stain glass window, it said I had completed that task, even though I hadn't. There was no way I could finish the game. The second time I ran into similar trouble was today, when I finished all the tasks in the first village. I had completed the jewel, used all the found items, and released the prisoner, who stood there ready to take me across to Dwarf village. Yet when I clicked to go over, Mortimer pops up and says I have to finish my tasks before I can go over. I tried exiting and restarting the game, but nothing changed. Has anyone else encountered problems like this?
