Many of you have the cutest little animated animals, signatures, etc.etc. could you please tell me where I can find all these things? It's so hard to show folks how you feel or a funny, sad, happy, goofy, (u get the pic lol) moment with only a typed txt.
Thanx in advance, Peace

P/S sheeesh I'm full of questions today, guess I'm making up for a month of not being able to play or come here to get to know the many great people I've met here

Hi,
I just search the internet for animated gifs, or quotes, or signatures, etc. Copy and paste those that allow or copy them to my computer than upload them on a site like photobucket, use their html link to paste here. Good luck!

I just finished "The Book of Desires" it is a HOG, umm, it was interesting, the storyline was weird and didn't make a whole lot of sense in some aspects, but the puzzles were good if not easy, and good GO's too. But it was way too short, I had it done and solved in less than 2 hours which is always a disapointment to me when games are that short.

I played Gardenscapes new one too-not bad if your into those kind.

Eventually RealArcade 1.4 had a loophole no one really fixed and it allowed people to cheat the system and play the full version of the game indefinently without having to purchase it. Instead of pursuing this bug, they updated to RealArcade 2.0 which had a more complex DRM scheme but it too had flaw, eventually GameHouse announced the merge and all of RealArcades games were rewrapped for Active Mark and now games are more tightly protected against hacking of any kind.

My rant with technical support is the generic response talking about outdated drivers and incorrect versions of Direct X. Do you know when Direct X was last updated? There has not been a new build of it in a long time and some drivers break OEM rules and make your computer not work

We learn as we go, and we never learn unless we ask, so do not feel ignorant, glad you asked!

Ok, if you just use the ones from your start button, they too are just like your desktop ones, just links. Follow these steps instead:
Open your new drive up ready to drag over the game first-THEN
Click-START
Click- ALL PROGRAMS
Scroll till you see a folder called-GAME HOUSE
Click-GAME HOUSE
Your games will be under this file
Drag the game you want over to your drive, this should give you the whole game file onto the new drive.

Good Luck!!

For the past couple months, my 5 yr old grandson has taken an interest in playing some of them with me. For me the quality time with my kid is priceless. For him , even though he doesn't realize it, the games are a terrific learning tool. He is learning new words when the item lists appear and as a result gets to know new items that would otherwise be foreign. He does a really good job deciding which inventory items need to be used in another location and he's getting better all the time navigating the playing field. So if any of you have youngsters in the home or grandkids that visit, introduce them to PC games. Great experience for the kid and an even better deal for the adult.

Sure poppa, way to make an excuse for your addiction j/k-I'm actually addicted to HOG's myself, and my kids at first saw no appeal, but now I get them to play with me, and just last month my husband played one and is now addicted to them...lol! They can be educational, fun and a great bonding experience like a board game, so why not? Share!

To all,

You cannot drag your desktop icon of the game over and hope that will give you the game (that is just an easy start up icon, not the actual file). You will need to go into your programs and find the games individual file, and drag that over to your drive. I do not think a flash drive is going to hold all that info, but? I do know my external portable drive does. I use it to back up all my files just in case my computer crashes.

So, make sure your in the actual game file, which my are under programs-gamehouse games- open the game house game folder and all your game files should be there. Good luck!

It is what it is, if you don't like it move on, if you like it or like being here, just deal with it. Imho. or maybe not so humble opinion

All this is tongue and cheek stuff Poppa, I hope you know that-not downplaying your issues, just saying it's all good and sometimes all you can do is stay and enjoy the ride. If it changes because of your efforts, great, bravo! But if it doesn't I hope you will still stick around and have fun, ignore the rest. Life's too short for panty wads!

I play games on my old XP, Vista and Windows 7 and I have not had any of the problems people have been complaining about? I can download my old games easily, and the new ones too. Every so often a new game has an issue, but it's because of the program not my computer. I tend to think most people's issues is their virus software is blocking the games and the site, etc. ??

I do not play games or load apps on FB. Any time I have attempted to do so on FB, it asks if the app can snag information from my profile. The amount/type of info varies from app to app, the most common is to take a list of my friends. If I want to invite my friends to do something, I'll ask them myself - thank you very much. I only use FB on https (secure) to protect my privacy. Not surprisingly, not a single app will load unless I switch to http & disable that security.

This is me too, I have not allowed any place that has asked because I do not like the terms of service. My account is private, and I would like to leave it that way.

3. Do you have any tattoos? If so, how many and where are they? **No, never will.

I made my first rotisserie chicken yesterday. Went with the garlic-oregano. It came out really well.

OK--Here is something I have always wondered about. I was straightening up my kitchen cu0pboards the other day and I found 2 bowls with no lids and 3 lids with no bowls. how does that happen when stuff never leaves my kitchen?

Will the sun come up on December 22? I think the Mayan calendar, like ours does every year, will just start a new cycle and nothing will happen. What do you think?

On the lids and bowl thing, if you have kids, or even a husband, that is your answer! I have found mine in the garage being used for tools, bolts, etc. Or the kids gave the dog something to drink out of or chew on, etc. Yeah, the joys of family! lol!

As for the Mayan Calendar, I think it's just the end of one calendar and the beginning of another, no biggie! I love watching these super preppers prepare though, very entertaining! I'm all about being prepared, have some 72 hour kits, and some food storage, but some of these people go to extremes, but hey, maybe they are smarter than the rest of us?

Funny story about the Mayan thing....one of my sons turns 16 a few days before December 22, and we do not allow our kids cellphones until they are 16 (I think they can live without them just fine until then imo) and my son has been begging me to give him one earlier because "Mom, the world will end a few days after my birthday, it's not fair I only get a phone for a few days! Please mom, can I have one now so I can enjoy it longer?" Gotta give him some points for coming up with that argument, right?
