(Please forgive the errors. I am totally dependent on Firefox spellchecking.) I have purchased the game and played it twice. The first time I got through without much difficulty - It's a bit slow on the room transitions. The 2nd time was a real trial. I finished the game with a bottle of water, spool of thread, and a glass with a fish in my inventory. I believe the problem starts with the puzzle in the playground of the girl. The piece for her head was missing so I used the 'skip' button. I managed to put the straw in the bear, find the net and capture the fish, clean the bowl and put the castle in it but that was all I could do with my inventory.

I trudged onward and the game reached it's conclusion. It is apparent to me that there needs to be some further testing and a patch in the playground. All these complaints aren't just user errors.

BTW, wrenches are used on nuts, screwdrivers are used on screws, like in real life.

It is a special Collector's Edition and the price has been explained very thoroughly both in the forum and on the purchase page. Why are you assuming that you can use a game credit to buy it? Wait 2-3 weeks and the general edition will be available to buy with a credit.

I would venture to guess that a company would go out of business very quickly if it gave it's games away.

Gamehouse is in the business of selling games and if this were a problem at their end, they would have it fixed immediately. I don't see any other complaints about downloading problems so one could assume the problem may be at your end, either with your ISP or the method you are using to purchase it.

My first guess would be that it may be the browser or anti-virus program you are running. If you are not using Internet Explorer, I would suggest switching to IE just to purchase games at Gamehouse.

Click on the map to visit other areas within the chapter. I had the same problem until the game gave me that hint.

Kristy, Can you please clarify your statement? Does that mean that if I'm a member, I can use one of my tickets to buy the Premium Edition at no extra cost?

The game hasn't been released here in mid-America so I can't download it. When was it released in UK?
