On the challenge where you are playing against an opponent you are not trying to copy them you are trying to beat them. There is a number assigned for each goal, for example, whoever reaches 34 first wins, and you have to take turns so you want to get the maximum squares per turn so that you reach the goal first and win.

Hidden Challenges
