I have found four pieces of coal on the first frozen island, but the fifth seems not to be visable to my bi-focals. I have looked for it for two days now. I have placed towers all around the perimiter, as far out as is possible, and have found shells, a rod, and a worm, but not the fifth piece of coal. Please help, I like this game and wish to finish it. Thank you in advance and God Bless.
Frozen Val Island: There are 5 coals you have to bring to the Eskimo to get the Fire Knowledge. One is at the shore south of the Eskimo Village. One is behind the East mountains beside the Hermit, one is in the Fire pit west beside the Hermit. and one of them is in the fire pit by the fishing Eskimos in the south. To find the last one, you have your archers attack the giant bird's nest on the west coast side. Drop the coal anywhere inside the Eskimo village and you will get the gift of fire towers!
Lagoona,
My warriors have been surrounding and attacking the giant nest for the fifth piece of coal for half an hour. Nothing is happening other than the little guys are circling the tree and laying an endless number of traps. I give up!!!!
I have three arrow towers in the vicinity, one right beside the nest. The archers say they are attacking if I click on them, but no arrows are flying from them or the towers. They all just keep circling!
Thanks anyway Lagoona for your response. It's either me or my computer.
Lagoona,
I have the archery range and quite a few archers. I do have the workshop (actually I have built everything available) but the workshop doesn't upgrade on this island. So, I built another one, but it doesn't upgrade either. Everything else is maxed out on upgrades tho. The archers say they are attacking when I place the flag at the nest, but no arrows are flying. Haven't had this problem on previous islands.
Lagoona,
It only took me several days (ugh, I knew it was me) but somehow I already had the coal from the nest (don't remember ever shooting the bird) which is why the attacks were not working. I scoured the forests again for (and found) the last piece of coal. I now need a good, stiff drink, but I couldn't give up.
