Fantastic Game. Love the Graphics. But for the life of me I cannot find the silly poker to stir the coals in the kitchen so she can cook the meal. All the hint button will tell me is to stir the coals.

Hi - I am also stuck at D'Artangnans place. I have stirred the fire (I found the poker on the right side of the fireplace) but can not find something to chop the vegitables with! Thanks All! JC

Please help i am stuck i am in the cardinals study and when i use my hint it says to look on the bookshelf so i do but i cant do nonthing cause i only have 5 of 7 of the books. so i go into the cardinal office but there is nonthing left to do there either .What am i doing wrong I cant go anywhere else put these places. I am missing something.

Have you checked cardinal's bedroom? It's the right side of the study. There's 2 books by the bed table.

There should be a knife some where around the house (I think the kitchen's shelf but I'm not so sure. Sorry about my bad memory). Just try the hint on every room. Also if I don't remember wrong, it's a dull knife so you need to sharpen it with the wheel in the hall.

Hmm since you didn't mention the bedroom, I take that you didn't see it? It's on the right of the study (the one with the bookcase). Hover to the right lower corner should take you there. There should be 2 books by the bedroom table, but you need 2 earplugs and the feather to deafen the cardinal first.

Ms.Jamie0 when you are in the study move your mouse to the right of the screen and then almost all the way to the bottom of the screen there will be a option to go to the cardinals bedroom. that is where you find the other 2 books.( check night stand)

I don't really remember it exactly since I didn't have trouble with them, but aside from 2 books in bedrooms, there should be 1 or 2 books in the 2nd room. The first room's books are either in 2 movable pictures above or in the right side's bookcase (it may be closed, so click to open it).

cannont find the ear plugs....have one but not the other...also have the feather to make him turn over...help found the ear plugs....now i am stuck on the invisible ink......movd the handkerchief over the letter and saw the writing....but now it has disappeared the the gauge won't fill back up....i am stuck with in the same spot...is this a game malfunction or do i need to do something else

Hi Wilhemia,
When you have solved the puzzle in the little chest behind the picture in the Cardinal's Bedroom, that is after you have placed the books in the book shelf and solved that puzzle you get a bottle of chemical, which you pour over that mystery note and with the hanky you can wipe over it and reveal the writing.

It seems like I'm the only one having this problem, so maybe someone can give me some help: I can't find the wash cloth to clean up the kitchen. I've looked in every room and used the hint button at least three times each.

Hi Banut,
When you have in your inventory a handle and you found in his bedroom the cooking pot go downstairs and where the wagon wheel is, click on it to push it beside, It's a secret compartment, which you open with the handle and it contains a cloth.

Hi Shadawbi,
When yo go down with your mouse, you see at the bottom of your screen a green area. click on that and you get to his feet. Tickle him there and he will roll over. Now you can go back up to his face and place the other ear plug.

I'm at the end and I can't find anything to lift the carpet to find the queen I've looked everywhere and I have all the planets.

Hi Duedec,
It's in the Queens Bedroom, I picked it up very in the beginning of this level. I only remember, that I was moving around all the chairs and clicking on surfaces. You can also lower there the crystal main light. With the hint button it should show you where it is, when you don't find it. But it is in that room and it is a Dagger.

I'm stuck at the same point, how do you solve the planet puzzel and find the Queen? You have to uncover the carpet with the dagger and the disk for the planets is located there.
The holes I count from the center outwards. When a planet is placed in the right position it glows.
The big planet is the sun and comes into the center. The Earth = VII and 2nd hole
Moon = XII and 1st hole. Saturn = XI and 6th hole. Jupiter = I and 7th hole.
Mercury = VI and 3rd hole. Venus = IX and 4th hole. Mars = III and 5th hole.

Please help!....I am in the Tower Room I have the woman tied in the chair and the picture is off the wall exposing the "casket" .....the sheet is tied to the Iron hoop ....and in my Inventory I have an Awl, a candle, a carafe and a box.......I need to open the casket but have not been able to ......back in the cell the rope is still attached to the chandelier.......once again.....Please help

Hi Brownsnapper,
The little box you place under the chandelier. The carafe you fill with oil - when you went back into the well and used the awl on the barrel -, you then use the filled carafe on the rope to make it burnable. Light the candle and click with it on the rope. After the rope breaks, the chandelier falls down and opens your box.

I've tied the woman up...found the safe...got the key...now what do I use the key on ?? Can't find anything anywhere ???

At the left side of the wall it has a picture frame. Place your tiles you have found into the frame and swap the squares until the parts turn to color, when they are at the right place. The painting will fall down and behind it, is a jewellery box, open it with the key. Beside that collect cloths, to make your rope, to attach it on the ring at the window.

Go back to the well and look there. I don't know which of the pieces you have already picked up, so just use the Hint Button in the well and then again upstairs, where you climbed out of the well and in the tower as well. I am pretty sure you will find like that your last piece of painting.

I was playing the free game and then I purchased the full version. When I tried to log in after unlocking the game I received this message. Constance.exe has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and norify you if a solution is available.
