Are you looking for a baseball bat or a flying bat?

I have the same problem. It is a baseball bat. The hint shows it is the baseball bat but clicking on it doesn't seem to work. Also, when you find the objects that are printed ....they are not removed , like it says, so have to remember what you clicked on.
This is the first scene, hmm, wonder what the rest of the game has in store for us, providing we can somehow get the baseball bat.

I cannot get the baseball bat either and have used so much time trying to hit it just right. I also do not like the idea that the found objects are not removed. Guess this is the end of this game for me unless someone can figure out what is wrong with it

Well, glad to see I'm not the only one. Pretty sad that there is already a glitch in the first scene

Hmm - I didn't have a problem getting the bat but the issue with the objects not disappearing or being checked off the lists continues throughout the game. I wonder if this was by design (to make it more challenging) or if it really is a glitch. It's annoying to say the least.

How did you get the bat out? I have spent most of my 60 minutes trying

I just got the bat out. Move your scene as far right as you can. Click on the very left end of the bat and you can get it. This seems like a neat game if it did not have so many glitches in it

PipCat it is a glitch. the instructions in the tutorial says that they will disappear from the list when they are found.

It isn't just the bat that won't respond. I've had several objects that wouldn't respond, including a sword. All I can figure out is you just click on every inch of the object and it will finally disappear.

@All'Y'all -- You're not alone in this! There are some major irritants here. But only major to those playing. The item name does not mark itself out When you are lucky enough to hit the exact spot on the item you want to select. Yes, I'll concede that the silhouette does disappear, but again, only when you are lucky enough to have hit the sweet spot on the item. The first scene had similar problems, but nothing like the fun I'm having with that stupid bat. My wife and I play these games together, and we're going to have to try your solution "SUZsayHi", maybe then we can enjoy this game more.

Perhaps GameHouse, as a distributor for this game, could mention to the game prodution company that the development programmers need to finese the game just a tad. Like for example, marking all the pixels in each item as selectable, or, as in the case of the bat, each half of it. It's really just simple programming. I know, I was one (at least, I played the part of one).

Hi GreyBeard,

When you all have problem with clicking on the pieces, I agree with you that is something that the game programmer can solve.

I am one of the lucky ones. I click and it goes. I admit, that by the listings of the HO-Items, it doesn't disappear from it until the end. But it has a counter on top of it, which lets you know how many items you have picked up. As example 7/9. I find it just a sort of variation of the HO and it gives us a little brain training. Tip for the ones who have difficulty remembering, which objects they have already found, just start with the first word on the list and continue to the second word, third, 4th and so on. Or you take a piece of paper and write down, what you have found.
The only thing which I would have loved a little better marked are the direction arrows, which are located bottom middle of the screen. I have to remember while playing this game, it has in the middle bottom of the scene these little transparent arrows to the left and to the right of that transparent rectangular shaped box, which moves your view to an other part of the room. It has a very fine white outline and is nearly invisible.

As I played through the game, I've noticed the developer/programer used a 'hot spot' of just a few pixels in size for several objects in the various screens. Makes it difficult to move forward.

At the moment I am stopped at the Gate of Babai. You have access to screens back to the Abyss but the bridge has disappeared. Unfortunately there is nothing to pick up or move in those screens anyway so don't bother trying to go back. At the Gateway, there is a heavy gate to open and if you did it right, you have setup a rope through a pulley in the ceiling to help raise the gate. BUT!!! You can't do anything since you need a heavy weight to tie to the rope to counter balance the gate and there's nothing to use for that purpose. You will be stalled in the room. The hint indicates the rope but when you click on it, "heavy weight' message is displayed.

Game has a lot of 'glitches' that should have been caught in testing!

When in the Gate of Babai attach the cat statue to the rope. It will fall and then open the gate. My problem is in the secret room off the well. It is dark and you need to light the torch with the maginfying light but it doesn't work. Good Luck

Hi Momsfun,

Rising the gate door: Note to all: My cat was translucent, when I wanted to place it on the rope. You have to move her around that she is no more see through and than it functions.
Lightning the dark room: In a HO in the room of Babai, you get a tear shaped jewel. Use that on that thingy on the stand, where the light from the outside falls onto. Take your torch and click on it or a little bit under it and voila you have light!

Good Luck!
