Come and join us. I was worried about posting aswell, but once I did everybody was so nice and friendly to me that now I post every day.
I'm glad you like Alice Cooper and AC/DC they are both very good live, when Alice plays Poison I just melt, it evokes such feelings in me and AC/DC have just played almost the same set every time I have seen them in the last 20 odd years. I am wearing the Rush tour shirt I bought when I saw them a few weeks ago. I have seen them many times since 'Rolling the Bones'. I don't really do gigs now but Rush gigs are so calm but still exciting, I don't feel threatend being in a wheelchair.

I don't know if you know of the Manic Street Preachers? they are a welsh band. One of them went missing years ago, his car was found close to a bridge and people thought he had jumped but his body was never found. When the Manics started touring again they met up with New Order who were Joy Division before Ian Curtis killed himself, Peter Hook turned to the Manics and said 'at least we have a body and can mourn. Which I thought was very true the Manics are still in limbo even to this day. I know that both these had nothing to do with drugs but they are still such a waste. I cried for days when Ian Curtis died it was the first time I had know of somebody in a band dying, there has been so many since...........sigh

Hi Michelle I've never heard of that band but that is so sad and I agree it's very hard to deal with hearing a great musician has gone. When I heard Ronnie James Dio was gone I couldn't believe it and I cried my eyes out that man was a genius and had pipes of gold but one thing is for sure they leave behind great legacy's and they will forever live on in their music. Hi Janie yes I love Deep Purple, AC/DC and Zeppelin and Alice Cooper and does that man ever put on a show I was mesmerized by Alice when I saw him in concert he definitely knows how to deliver one heck of a show. Glad to have you here so just jump right on in and make yourself at home and have some fun and you can join in anywhere you want to here don't be shy just come on in.

I have copied a picture and a little description, which Qantas Airline have on a prospectus. Do you know if this is an Insect or a Flower?
In the natural beauty lottery, Western Australia seems to have won the jackpot as there are red deserts, the endless white sands of Cable Beach in the north and the lush greenery and undulating countryside in the south-west. But during wildflower season (July to November) the state really comes into its own, when WA's 12,000 wildflower species as many found only there as come out to play.
Okay my birthplace is Addis Ababa and that is the Capital of Ethiopia and the name stands for translated in English: New Flower. We spoke there Amharic, that has the same signs than the old Arabic Runes, but it signifies something completely different. It's a petty, but not using this beautiful language made me forget a lot of it. We always see in the news the poor and misery from this Country. But I know for fact it is so beautiful and has a lot to offer. I remember when I was a child, we where at a place, where we picked up a lot and huge junks of Onyx Gem stones, just beside the road. Naturally it got to heavy to carry them around without a container and we left them then there.

Hey Lagoona how are you thanks for missing me I've missed you as well my friend. Yes there are lots of newcomers coming that's great and lots to read and try to catch up wow. It's great to see this place buzzing again it's been a longtime coming and I'm so happy for gamehouse. I love the little vampire girl pic is that suppose to be for me if so I love it I'm a big vampire fan and supernatural fan as well. I use to post stories here if you go down a few pages you may find a thread called G's Pics To You feel free to take a peek inside I wrote some stories and posted pics of the characters and gave to each person although some of the pics may not be there anymore since I cleaned out some of my photobucket stuff but some might still be there I know the stories are still there so if your ever bored and want something to do look for that thread and check it out. I also did a haunted house here last halloween and I know those pics are gone but I may do it again this halloween I love halloween. It's great to chat with you again and I love the vampire girl thanks I'm gonna leave you a pic of my favorite vampire his name is Vincent Valentine and he his a character from Final Fantasy and he is HOT !!! Hi Lagoona I'm glad you liked the stories I enjoy doing them I hadn't done any in a long time everything got really slow so I stopped but feel free to copy and read any that you want to and I hope you enjoy them most of them deal with fantasy or supernatural and vampires so I hope you don't get bored.Yes I will be at the party I will mark it on my calender so I'll be sure to be there I wouldn't won't to miss it for the world. What an awesome picture again. Thank you very much. Your stories are fantastic and nope until now I wasn't bored not one single second. The topics are just my likings anyway!
How about the idea, that you write a new thread with stories after the party, like that we can avoid a void. Would you love to do that again? If yes I am all up to it. I have some real nice vampire pictures as well, beside the llittle girly's one. I send you a small sample, when you are interested in I can send you bigger sizes and some others:
I just had a spooky scene here - my TV burning, when I switched it on for the News - I saw a real fire inside it, I had to drag it into the backyard and hose it, otherwise everything would have been on fire. Now it stinks in my house.....!!! I never heard of that one, that was a kind of a weird thingy, !!!
My thoughts are with you and with all the support with these vampires
hopefully everything turns out good for everybody.

I know exactly where Addis Ababa is & know a woman from there. Her parents = 1 Ethiopian & 1 Eritrian; thus they had to escape to Eritrea during one of the wars, & then a sad story followed. But eventually she was able to escape to Germany & from there, to Canada. She is now high school teacher here. LOL. She speaks Amharic & also another Eastern language (can't recall, starts with a "T" -- maybe Tikrit ?) & French & German & English--amazing woman!
I'll get to Australia one day--also, of course I will be at the garden party.
Re getting a "portal ticket" for Joe Strummer for the VGP to make Elliebumble happy, I can't promise, but I will see what I can do about that.
On to music, I'm thrilled so many like Alice Cooper & Rush... Ellie likes Rush!

By the way he met my father in Switzerland and took him down to Addis Ababa as his Chef, that is the reason I was born there. I feel so sorry for your amazing woman, that she had to go through this horrible war. I am happy for her, that she found something beautiful in Canada and is there acting as a teacher for High School.
Eritrea was known in Ancient Egyptian time as Punt at the 25th Century BC. They where a nation people, which had a closed relation to Pharaonic Egypt during the times of Sahure and Queen Hatshepsut. The main language are Tigrinya (new: Dahlic) and Arabic. I think the one you are searching is the Semitic language called Tigre. They have in Eritrea also widely spoken, the Italian language, from Mussolini's invasion.

Hi Lagoona well I'm glad you enjoyed my stories and that you didn't get bored.lol Sure if you would like me to do something like that again I'm all for it. The way I did it I would write the story and then post the picture of the characters in the story and give them to people in the forum so I can do that again no problem and I'm open to any ideas or suggestions you or anyone has just let me know what you want me to and I'll do what I can to put something together that hopefully everyone will like. Like I said I love the supernatural, vampires, fantasy and other whacked out stuff. I do enjoy doing that though so whenever you want to get together on something just let me know and we'll put something together and hopefully I won't bore anybody to death. Thanks for your nice comments that was very sweet and I love the pic and would love to see more so let me know how and when you want to do this. Sorry about your television man what a mess are you okay and do you know what happened or was it just some freak thing I hope your okay I'll be thinking about you. Hi Ellie it's great to see you and that you are still here with us and have no fear when you go away for more than a day or so I'm gonna organize a search party you can be sure of that.lol I love vampires always have and anything to do with the supernatural I guess it all fits with heavy metal I think they all just go hand in hand but I've always loved that kind of stuff ever since I was a little girl just always fascinated me and it still does so I guess some things never change. I will post some stories if you want find the thread where mine are it's called G's Pics To You you may have to go down a few pages but you should be able to find it not many of the pics will still be there but the stories will so feel free to read them if you want to and I hope it doesn't bore you to pieces. it is true about heavy metal and the supernatural going hand in hand. When I was 7 I saw a ghost, as an adult that sounds wrong to say, but I did see a ghost there was nothing else it could be. Even now 39 years on I can still see her as clear as I saw her then. I went into my parents room in the middle of the night and a young girl was sat beside their bed with her head down. I got in bed with my mum and just watched her untill I fell asleep. In the morning she was gone. Now I think I should have talked to her but she looked so peaceful

Hi Michelle wow that really happened to you that's wild. Did you tell your mom or anybody what you saw and did you ever see her again ? That would make for a great story one day if you wouldn't mind me doing one sometime. I do believe they exist and I am fascinated with a place called Waverly Hills Sanitarium it was a tuberculosis hospital and 63,000 people died in that one building and that place is full of ghost and very well documented with a major motion picture made about it and several documentaries made on it so that place for me is the real deal no doubt. I've seen and heard too much about that place to think otherwise. It's okay to talk about that even if your an adult there is nothing wrong with that at least I don't think so. If you ever want someone to talk to about it I'm here and believe you. Have a great night and big hug's ! This pic. The next morning I asked my mum who was the little girl praying at my dads' side of the bed I thought she would think I was making it up but she believed me. My mum thinks she was my cousin who died when she was a young child just after making her fiirst communion, My parents bought the house when it was new so the ghost must have been for us because nobody else had lived in that house. Nothing has happend to me since. I would love for you to write a story about this and I will be waiting to read i[
I don't often tell people about seeing a ghost because most people would look at me like I'd lost the plot, but I knew I could trust you. I love the picture you posted, you are right it is so peaceful

I do believe what you said is true and I also think there are people in this world that spirits or ghost will appear to even if they don't appear to anyone else why I don't know unless maybe the spirit feels they have some sort of connection to the person they are appearing to and some may be doing it for help and I'm sure your probably saying okay this chick is off her rocker she has banged her head one to many times.lol I had a similar experience well sorta it involved my bosses son there was a well known haunted house the owner was known to be a very mean and cruel man to everyone and very rich, anyway he and some friends wanted to go well they wanted me to go as well saying that if I went I could probably lure the ghost out because of the music I listened to. I told him no that I wouldn't go and I advised him not to go also I told him there are things in this world that you just don't play with and this was one of them. Well needless to say they didn't listen and went well it wasn't long before they came back to the hotel where we worked and this kid was terrified he couldn't hardly talk and he was white as a sheet all of them were scared and they said we should have listened to you. They said when they got there you could hear screams, chains dragging, voices and there was a grandfather clock built into the wall as you enter the house and that started going off at first they thought maybe someone was messing with them but there is only one way in and one way out so they knew it wasn't that so the bailed as quick as they could. I did a story about it in the thread I did stories so if you want to check it out go ahead but yes I believe you and if you ever need anyone to talk to about it you can come to me. Thank you so much for the lovely unicorn.....you did it again, it is really awesome and a creature I have never seen before a Vampire-Unicorn awwww.. I thank you also for the vampire picture and that sentence is incredible, it is unconditional love, when someone says I have crossed oceans of time to find you. I have read in one of your stories, that is your favorite sentence, guess what it is mine as well. I believe in several lives and several of us had once such a beautiful love (partner, friend, relatives) and when it happens, that we meet again then we just know this person very well in the first few seconds. I think everybody had encountered this deja vue (in English: already seen - familiar), where we saw a human, fauna or flora, places, an area, a building or a landscape and it felt like we knew every single sand corn of it and in it: at the same time we are fully aware of, that this is the first time in this life we met or we where there. I also have a tremendous connection to magical creatures; at the same time I am a very level headed person. For me they ones existed call it crazy, but I just know.
I have also encountered ones a ghost. I just woke up and in front of me was a tall Lady kneeling for a split second, she stood up, turned around and walked away, I saw her back and her grey hair knotted to a bun and in her black long dress she reassembled very much a work friend I had in Switzerland by the name of Beatrice. She was 20 years older then me and replaced my mother, which I had lost some time back. She was very slim and tall, was walking around with dark long maxi dresses or trousers, but she had black hair and I remembered her also to be younger looking, than the person I saw by my bed.
The next morning I received an e-mail from her son, that she had passed away in her sleep that night; and that she was very ill for a short time, it turned her hair grey over night.
It was some kind of a bitter / sweet feeling. So it was Bea, who has visited me that night. Bitter because it was her time to go and sweet, because I never told her, that she replaced in some ways my mother. I think she visited me to let me know, that she knew, either she knew it all along or she got that knowledge, when she left this world. I consider her visit as a real privilege, that she came the same night she passed away.
Your wonderful stories and the way you have done it in the past with the pictures are fine for me. When I have sent you the green hooded Vampire Lady, I was more thinking at new inspirations and new characters for new stories.
I also had over and over again the deja vue with the writer of all these stories, which are by the way very beautiful. It felt like a sister I never had in this life. Someone, you talk about everything and have no shame to show your deepest wishes, desires and fantasies. I just loved it, you have not only done a fantastic job Gaye, you have sold your heart with it.

Thanks for the compliment, me wise..... do you think so?.... Well.. when I am fooling so much around and write fantasy happenings for a virtual garden party, is that wise darling? Is that not more the case of loosing the plot!!!
The encounter you had with that girl at you parents bedside, which was just sitting there very peacefully, that is so beautiful and I can feel it was meant to be for you to see, it changed your life, I just know. Never regret, that you didn't speak to her, I am pretty sure, deep inside you, you felt it was right not to disturb her action of praying. Like that you could watch her for a long while, maybe otherwise, she would have disappeared instantly. In your heart is melted the whole appearance of that wonderful girl for life. I have found a peaceful picture, hope you like it.

Hi Lagoona, Ellie and the rest of you lovely lounge ladies. So sorry I haven't been around that much but I've been devoting most of my free time to my niece who has breast cancer and has now started her chemo treatments and is really having a rough time so I'm either on the phone or online with her talking and just trying to be there for her. We are really close and she really needs me right now so that is why I haven't been around that much and I apologize for that and I will try to get in here more but if you don't see me that much you know why. I really miss all of you and I'll be glad when I can be back full time again banging my head. Lagoona thanks so much for your comment about my stories and I'm so glad I made you feel that way when I do those I do them from the heart and if I can make one person smile or laugh then I've know I've done the right thing and yes I'm someone you can bare your soul to without passing judgement on you that's just the way I am and I'm so glad I touched you in that way that makes me feel good and I look forward to doing some for you and seeing just how deep I can go. Ellie I'm still banging my head and miss you lots and we have much to catch up on and just as soon as I can I will be back in I will try to at least stop in once or twice a week and say HI ! I really hope you all can understand why I haven't been around and may not be around that much just remember I haven't forgot any of you and I miss you all very much. Lady Do have no fear there will be another story as long as you want one darlin you will get one. Was very busy with the INVITE TO THE VIRTUAL GARDEN PARTY, Everyone is welcome, made a thread with it and put everything relevant about the VGP in it, so that it is all together. To everyone who was shy to join in the forum chatting, I'm so glad you have. I used to feel shy to do any posts not specifically about games / reviews, & so sometimes I'd feel a little lonely at this site.
Er, re music, sorry, but I'm not much for Metallica or Guns & Roses, but I do like Alice Cooper & AC/DC.
What about Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, or Rush (I'm Canadian &, naturally, we love our Rush!)?
