Room, you gotta try this right now. Go to gif-mania.net and you'll see it's in French. Not to worry, mon cheri! And no, I do not speak French, lol. But you'll see lots of gifs, and groups to the left with many more. Choose a gif, any gif'll do for a test, go to where it says "the text of your signature" and type your name. Holy Cow! I just realized it's in English now!
Then your signature should appear. RIGHT-click and click on "save image as," (give it a name like sig-1 or such) and save it to your photo album so you can upload it in Photobucket. Then you copy it to here as you would any picture... 
Voila! Try it!

I just saved it to my favorites and than to photobucket and it worked. Cuz I didn't know any other way. But now I want to go back and make up other names to go on my e-mails or e-cards. This is so much fun mixed with the pix. Thanks gals for the lesson.

I am choosing falling snow because I want my words of encouragement, comfort, or hope to as soft and as gentle as falling snow. Pepper just doesn't get it. At one time, I had an website using falling snow. My daughter and son mentioned to me that I should try to earn some extra money from what I write. So falling snow is beginning to take shape.
I had thought of using robin (facebook) or the sparrow maybe falling leaves. Why did some of you choose yours.

Something that I have written:
Love is like rain
Is the love in our hearts gentle?
When others experience our love,
is it gentle like falling rain drops?
Is the love in our hearts hard?
When others experience our love
is it hard like falling drops of hail?
Sometimes it rains so hard
that it comes down in buckets
causing erosion and floods.
Other times, it can be quiet,
never saying anything.
It can be steady, never wandering
off course, no matter, who gets hurt.
Rain fills the earth with water
that flows all over the earth.
Love fills the earth with love
that flows all over our hearts.

that there was no stopping it.
When love begins to fall on a person
what happens.
It tries to enter the heart and mind,
but is stopped because of years of hate.
Were there years of wanting to get even
with a person for whatever they may have
said or done.

Sometimes I still dabble in writing... hardly ever now, so don't get much practice. If I can share in your poetry corner, here's something I wrote thinking of Thanksgiving:
Our perception, that lies within us, may it join with the light of others,
Till we hold hands around our sun and spread our gift like countless stars.
For we were born with the greatest power of all. Love, pure and unfettered.
May we learn to rest in its tireless arms when we feel burdened, and realize the peace that lies dormant.
May we awaken with new sun in our eyes, new peace in our souls, a new purpose.
May those we have hurt without malice come to a new understanding, and join in the circle that flows unhindered, when we open our hearts to its energies.
May we be thankful for those whose hands we have touched, whose eyes we have looked into, and whose dreams we have shared. May we realize the dream is "now," and walk in a peace that is golden.
