It is ampossible to download a game now. You get find or open. When you click 'open' you get a page of red and blue type. If,as you say, you are trying to make your site more member friendly, why do you unnecessarily comlicate things? What is an rpg file? Or pgi file or whatever it is?

I'm thinking now the problem lies with Internet Explorer. I went in through Fire Fox and am able to download the game. Whether or not it is going to play remains to be seen.

Hi there...

I'm sorry to learn of your frustration, but I'm not sure exactly what you're experiencing as the references are not familiar to me. I just downloaded the new game Lilly Wu and the Terra Cotta Mystery and I did not experience any difficulty with Internet Explorer. Please call GameHouse Technical Support on 1-866-831-5895 to allow the team to troubleshoot; they will be happy to help you.

Thanks for your patience and for playing at GameHouse!

Re: GameInitializer.rgi

Bill, it appears your programmers are using technology from RealArcade v3 to automatically initialize downloads in Internet Explorer without the need to download a seperate EXE file each time a game is installed. When a download link for a game is clicked, the download manager automatically kicks in and downloads the game, just like it did in RealArcade v3.

EDIT:

I found the solution. If its asking you to open it with something try browsing to C:\Program Files\RealArcade\bin\gameinstaller.exe

If that does not open it, then gamewrapper.exe in that same folder will work.
