Hi candy it's the tomato hatin' Yankee LOL just wanted to tell you we had plain old bacon and eggs for dinner tonight! Oh and sorry the only time I tried to cook fish, by the time I got all the bones out, I could barely look at the darn thing much less eat it. JJ would be a great person to ask about it though.candylv wrote: Since you guys are talking about fish, someone today gave us a whole mess of Talapia. We never eat seafood but took it anyway to be polite. Has anyone ate that kind of fish and HELP, I never cooked fish in my life, it is fresh and has no coating or nothing on it. What di I do? Ydoi, liking is a word.

Of course I simmer them in water first to get the fat out, then slowly brown them and add them to the meatballs and sauce that are simmering. That with some fresh-baked Italian bread from our grocer here, and a little tossed salad. Mama Magnolia! (that's what he calls me with I make the spagett.)

They had a special commission that watched all of the movies and deleted anything they didn't like. If a man and a woman were on the same bed, even if they were married, He had to have one foot on the floor.

I feel your pain JJ The exact same size HoneyBaked ham I paid 34 dollars for a couple years ago went up to 53 dollars (I had a 5.00 off coupon but still) I wouldn't have bought it but we had been standing in line outside the store for half an hour so I had no idea how much it was till we got in there. Hope everyone enjoys it cause it's the last one!jjrsvp wrote:ydoihavetoagain wrote: HI there, Our store is selling lamb for almost 6 dollars a pound.I don,t think i have ever had lamb.. I lot of people get lamb for easter. I bet it will go on sale after. Also blame the TV cooks lamb is one of the new in meats. A few years ago shoulder blade lamb chops were 2.99.

Honey did you forget who you're talking to for a minute? LOL My mom was from the south so that's probably why. I guess I DO make the potato salad from scratch. HEY I AM making something from scratch! But the baked beans are Campbell's pork and beans with brown sugar, mustard etc.jjrsvp wrote:sunnydaze wrote: Your nephew likes to cook also? Maybe he got it from you. That sounds southern. Do you make you beans from scratch,my grandmother did. We all learned to cook from her. She was very old school. Everything from scratch. Best apple pie.
