Not happy that my oldies but goodies are not playable anymore. We paid for them. Now what?

Yes, I'm pretty annoyed about the Rebound games as I have/had them all and play them a lot - what happens when I want to put them on my new laptop?

There are some issues with my list of purchased games too, I see some of my games (just a few, for some reason?) in 'My Games', but I can't play them from there, I have to go through another link to another list...and THAT list is missing a few too! In fact that list is missing at least two that are shown as 'Purchased' in the 'My Games' list! Confused yet? I am!

The old games are still playable, They are listed in Start - All Programs - Real - Games.

You just cant redownload them anymore.

I can't redownload the old games any more though (the Rebound ones, at least). I can only play what I have on my computer already. I bought a new laptop recently and I've only redownloaded a selection of my full version games so far.

And now I look more carefully at the RealArcade list of my purchased games, LOADS of my games are missing! And that's just the ones I can remember from my old list, heavens knows how many more there were that I just can't remember. Now I wish I'd looked up and copied out my list of purchased games from the My Account area in RealArcade before the switchover!

Like SilverSuki, many of my games are missing - only 10 games show as available to redownload. Oddly, though, if I change the order of the games, say from most recently downloaded to alphabetical, it is a different 10 games.

And I am concerned about the number of games no longer available for redownload. I have been thinking about getting a new computer but now...

Also, many of the games that show as not available are NOT the games listed in the "known issues" post about transferring over from RealArcade.

Hi rightslant, SilverSuki and Rhea,

There was a problem earlier with the My RealArcade Games page that only allowed you to see the first page of games. Check the page again now and see if you see a page selector at the bottom of the games list. That should allow you to browse to see your other games.

Post back if that doesn't work.

Matt,
What are you doing about the games that say:
Mystery Case Files - Huntsville
This game is no longer available, please contact Customer Service at support@gamehouse.com

This is one of our favorite games and we had everyone in the series.

Are you also going to have an organizer for our games so when we download them, we have it organized and stored on our computer (like Big Fish is)?

Pretty dissatisfied right now!

It seems that most of the answers you're getting are negative. I hope that GH will not argue about it, or blow it off. Just realize that your customers are very unhappy, and then DO something about it. I have had a Game Pass account with RA since 2005. That's a whole lot of purchases. Now I can't even access my account. I am getting ready to cancel this long standing account if things don't get better real quick.

I'm sure that your tech guys don't even see our problem, because it appears simple and obvious to them, but to many of the consumers, it is not so obvious. Bottom line: It's not working! Please fix it.

Thank you.

I am now able to access my account, and I have been able to redownload some of the games. It's a slow process, but it is working! Thank you.

Already let them know I'm not a fan of the merger. Had to register to get on the site. Had to register my newly downloaded game. Had to register to make this post. How many more times do I need to register? My games are missing and I can't even see how many credits I have left.

No, not liking this at all!

Matt

I am doing my best to adjust to all the changes and as of yet I have not lost my cool. Bear in mind that I still do not know how my " No Longer Available" games will be dealt with which is going to be a deal breaker for me if I end up losing these games. I have not yet contacted CS about these games as I am waiting for a reply asking what I can expect from CS when I do contact them. I have walked away from RA in the past due to CS issues and I prefer to go into any conversation with them as knowledgeable as possible.

If what you are asking is for suggestions or things we would like to see changed I have a few simple ones, none of these are deal breakers though.

1) If you are going to have a character limit in forum posts common sense would be to have a character counter near the text box

continued below due to character limit

2)The lack of any way to centrally organize your games and launch them other than via a desktop icon is a big rub for me since I have hundreds of games and I am inclined to do fresh installs of my operating system about every 6 months. If I were to allow all my games to have a desktop icon they would not all fit, even on a 27" monitor.

I realize one of the biggest headaches back at RA was the game client but there must be some type of client or console or whatever you wanna call it that allows for organization of both RA and Gamehouse games. I would even settle for a tutorial on an easy method to DIY.

3) the way these forums are currently set up and the lack of basic features is pretty pathetic. I will continue below due to a character limit I have no way of keeping track of and which I keep exceeding.

So , explain to me like I'm a 2 yr old, if I'm already logged into my account, why do I have to enter my password every time I go to do something. I'm really starting to get ticked off by all the foolishness this merger has caused.

There is no way to easily identify threads ,containing new posts which for someone like wolverine, who gives a great amount of his own time trying to help others, must be a major head ache.
I can only imagine how often posts that contain issues or questions which could be easily fixed will end up going unnoticed and unanswered. Not to mention the clutter that will end up being created by posters who don't know how or don't take the time to use a search feature.
There are simple little features that easily prevent these annoyances

Such as moving a thread to the top when a reply is added or little colored icons showing threads containing new posts or currently hot threads.

By the time that many of these customers arrive here seeking help they are frustrated, confused and possibly angry and even very near to canceling their accts and this may be the last place that the company has a chance of turning things around and keeping that customer satisfied.

I agree with so much of what you said, but especially about the organization of the forums. It's very difficult to follow the posts. Hopefully GH will listen.

I want the real arcade website back!!!!!!!!!!!!! i AGREE with the negativity i see as the other website was more user friendly and this one so far is horrible. I want to know if i have any credits available as that is no longer an option on this website and then to find out if they went through is ridiculous.

Have you tried folders I have them in several ways by game types and also by the game club the came from I've got them as ones I own & ones I downloaded & want to buy at some time or other that way I can make sure when I want to buy something I can make sure I haven't already bought it ( Ya I know I belong to too many clubs ) already (which I've done especcialy older ones that I find on steals & deals or other specials). The other folders I use if I want to play a certain type of game ( hide & seek, match 3, card games ect. )
I hope that helps also I print out a list of my games from member page or were ever their listed ever few monthes so I also have a hard copy just in case my computer crashes. (ya like that ever happens) good luck

I don't want the old realarcade back. 2 credits is better than 1. 3 would have been even better, maybe I am being a little greedy. Did you ever notice the more you have the more you want? Years ago I would have been happy. Now the only thing I am not happy about is I heard you can only unlock your game 5 times on gamehouse.

I also wish the gamehouse/realarcade customer support would start answering questions on this board.

Where do you see how many credits you have and when do we get the 2 credits? My e-mail when I registered on GH said: GamePass bonus: GamePass members now get TWO free game credits every month (double the credits!) for the same low price. There is absolutely no additional cost.

Right now, it STINKS. I can't access ANY games tonight. Are you going to pro-rate or refund our monthly fee for excessive down-time?

Regarding the changeover from RealArcade to Gamehouse, I agree with a lot of the complaints posted here.
But I still don't understand why I have to redownload my games. They're already on my computer and now I have to waste my internet download limit on redownloading them, all 50 odd - or am I missing something here?
I have quite a few games that aren't supported anymore and can find the .exe file to launch them but what's the point of logging into the website at all if I have to do this?

Why are you redownloading your game when you play them? Is it because there is a redownload button beside the game.
It is very easy to play your games from your desktop. click open program files, find gamehouse and send this whole folder to your desktop. None there is no more signing in to play a game, they are right there.

I like your games, but not this sudden and not announced change. I think I will unsubscribe. I've had a Game Pass account with RA since 2002 and now I'm unable to purchase a game with my monthly free Game Pass credit. Never had problems before!

My RA games transfered to the GH site okay except 4 full version games lost when RA went to online vs the RAPlayer (which I miss SO much) & 1 full version of Yahztee! Since the merger I've redownloaded it from the RA account site; verified my license was good & the games still wants me to pay for a new full version! Very frustrating since I bought it yrs ago! Not thrilled that I have to now deal with video ads before & especially "while" playing free trial game to decide if I want to buy the full version.

The trial games I've downloaded since the merger don't appear under "My Games" (have to locate through my program files). I'll continue using RA/GH until my annual membership is due then will decide if I am going to renew,if it's still available. If not then will most likely say good-bye. Sad since I have purchased at least 75-80 games through RA over many years.

Still wonder why some RA members were awarded gift certificates before the merger went into effect; doesn't seem to be compensation for lost games based on the timeframe & member comments since the merge. Meanwhile I'll be checking the other gaming sites to see who deserves my gaming $$ next year!

And I agree with the character count allowed comment-a counter would be nice. Also knowing if the count includes spaces.

It is expected to have some minor bugs to work out with any merger of two companies, but the problems that the former RA members are having is not acceptable in my opinion.

I guess that I am lucky, it looks like that I am only going to lose three games. They are no longer available is their excuse.

But what really irks me to no end is: I didn't get my game credits that were due 11-19-2009. My wife and I searched the GH site over and over to try to find any information about them and found nothing. So I called customer support, got an agent with a thick accent, who was rude. He told me that my credits, were not available at this time. He could only tell me that GH was working on the problem, but had no idea of when I would receive my credits. To the best of his knowledge it might be sometime this month that I would get my free game credits.

My wife and I are really considering cancelling our membership and heading on over to Big Fish.

Hello 'dhwv62' ...

I have been notified that the fix has been implemented to post FunTickets (formerly known as GamePass credits) for the handful of GamePass members, who had already been billed after their RealArcade accounts had been migrated to GameHouse but who had not yet received their FunTickets for that billing cycle.

Once you log in to GameHouse.com you should see your credits (listed as FunTickets) under your Profile as well as at the top left of the home page, just below the GameHouse logo.

Account billing dates should have been reset to the cycle that was in place before the RealArcade account migration to GameHouse.

Thank you for your patience. We're glad to have you as a GamePass member and we hope you will continue to enjoy playing at GameHouse!

Won't let me choose the $6.99 option because I am already paying $9.99 month through real arcade, but can't my 2 credits nor download any games without paying an extra $6.99 for them. What a rip off. Going back to POGO, anyone care to join me?????????????

I have been a Real Arcade customer for a number of years and this is my very first time joining a forum, but I feel the need to vent. This whole conversion has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! I understand change is hard, but this move to Game House is driving me insane. If I want to play any of my PAID for RA games I have to re-download them. They gave me (2) credits which Fun Pass will not not accept. I have spoken to chat line and sent e-mail they did get back to me in 48-hours but didn't answer my questions directly. I will cancel my membership and go over to Big Fish where the customer service is on point.
