What candy did you eat as a child that you miss today? I remember these suckers called bb bats that came in different flavors like chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and my personal favorite banana. Also there was a candy called kits that came 5 in a pack that was the same flavor as the bb bats only they also came in p-nut butter which was my favorite. I remember many a sunny afternoon of sitting on the porch swing eating a sackfull of both of those candies with my fifty cent allowance at 10 yrs old. I could get 50 pieces that lasted all week untill my next allowance.

We have a couple candy shops around here who sell all the ones I remember so I don't miss them. But here is a list of some of my fondest. Necco waffers, wax bottles, candy dots on paper, candy cigarettes and bubble gum cigars ( We were so cool), Wax lips, candy necklaces(thinking it was great but as an adult Ugg, eating candy soaked in sweat. Sometimes sharing). This should get the ball rolling.

Those Licorice Pipes (dunno why they made them pipes) black and red, Mary Jane's, Cow Tails, Mexican Hats, Turkish Taffy (I think they called it Laffy Taffy), and those long paper sticks full of colored sugar. What the heck were those called.

moo, I was thinking of the same ones, I thot they were called 'Stix' with the flavored sugar in them and I guess Russ covered most of the other ones I was gonna say except the big Bazooka Bubblegum with the comics in them. How many could you chew at one time? LOL (candy, I'm sure our dentist loves those old candy stores huh)

Are you guys talking about pixie sticks? How about that candy bar called seven-up. I loved that one. Everything you all said I remember and it brings back summer nights of sitting on the curb with my little brother catching fireflies in a jar and eating out of the bag of candy. Oh the joy!
